TTC 2026!

Hi everyone, I created the TTC 2025 thread but as we are heading into a new year, it only seems right to start a new thread. Anyone here going to be TTC in 2026? I started my journey earlier this year and after 9 months/cycles trying, I’m yet to see a positive test. Finding it difficult not to lose hope but hopefully 2026 will be our year. Would love to connect with others who are trying to conceive. It’s a tough journey but it helps to have a supportive group of women to chat to! ❤️ Good luck everyone, baby dust for 2026!

Hi everyone hope you’re all doing well! I’m 5dpo and praying I have a little blastocyst forming! Just wanted to air my frustration on something though! My partner got referred for a semen analysis and he just called the hospital to book it and it won’t be until April! There was me thinking he’d be going in this week. So disappointed but also hoping we can cancel it as may be pregnant by then.

So my advice for anyone over 6 months TTC is to book it asap as may well take a good few months for an appointment.

I'm also 5dpo. I hope you will not need these tests for your partner and with baby belly by then xx

Hi ladies. TTC baby number 2. I haven no patience at all! Not even reached ovulation yet for this month and I’m getting irritated 😂 my lh levels are always really low around 0.15-0.2 even right up until 24 hours to ovulation. Does everyone else’s do that too?

Yes! My tests suddenly shoot up haha. At 13dpo they were 0.15 and 0.18 then the following day I got 1.03 then my peak of 1.80 a few hours later and then that evening it started dropping to 1.18. The next day (ovulation day) they were down to 0.78 and 0.13!

hello ladies - just thought I would update you all. I went for my first scan today and expected to see fetalpole etc but saw sac yolk sac and measured 5 week 2 days. They wasn’t concerned and said it looks like I ovulated slightly later but also said there is a 2nd sac but can not make out a yolk sac atm and I need to return in 2 weeks to see if it’s a 2nd pregnancy or a bleed .. I don’t understand the timing as I got a positive hpt on the 29/12 - this is going to be a long 2 week wait

Hi everyone, I’ve just come across this group. I’m TTC baby 2 at 37. First was at 29 so I’m a little anxious. (It’s taken me 7 years to convince my husband!) 😂Hope 2026 is the year for everyone in this group. I find it takes my mind off the waiting when I’m reading everyone else’s updates! I’m only CD 2 today but am already starting to obsess 🙈 Good luck everyone xx

Negative test at 12dpo yesterday, so looking like I'm out for this month! Not surprised given how little we made time baby making activities. Priority for Feb is relationship maintenance, and not putting too much pressure on TTC. Hoping to snag a babysitter for our first breakaway since becoming parents 4 years ago!

I'm also assuming I'm out this month for this reason. So tricky to find/make the time!! Nap time is when jobs get done usually and I'm often ready for bed not long after DD is asleep. Hope you get that precious 1 on 1 time

Just got my progesterone results. Anything over 4 confirms ovulation but ideally it needs to be over 30 to sustain a pregnancy. I was hoping for anything over 30 and I’m thrilled that my result was 43! Explains my really sore boobs 🤣 So now I just have to hope and pray that I did conceive and the little one will implant 🤞🏼

@EmCha That’s a great result and such a relief isn’t it! I had mine done last month too for piece of mind.

my period is due tomorrow so gonna see how I get on. Not tested since 9DPO which was negative, just going to see if period arrives. It has been such a busy week at work that it’s kept me (a bit) distracted!

Anyone else going to be testing next weekend? I always find the countdown excruciating. Have tests in the bathroom but not daring to use them yet as I find bfn harder than arrival of AF

what do you think of this test? It was taken earlier today and not with FMU,
period is due today according to app but I know I ovulated 2 days later than app predicted (based on ovulation pains).
issue is I did the test and checked after 2 (rather than 3) mins, it looked negative so I left as had to do something, and then when came back to it there was this line? It has some colour but do you think it’s an evap?

I do see a shadow but I’ve heard negative things about the boots tests, apparently they’re terrible for evaps so I’d be wary! Fingers crossed for you though 🤞🏼❤️

AF is due Monday for me so I’ll test then.

I’ve made it through 9dpo today without testing! Was so hard so I’m proud of myself haha! Onto 10dpo, trying to hold off again. I’m the same, really struggle with seeing the negatives. I struggle with BBT drops too but I’m still going to check that in the morning. 🙈

we are trying for our first baby, I came off hormonal birth control in August and I’m not sure my cycle has fully relaxed into it’s own rhythm yet! Any advice or tips are hugely appreciated!

I’ll be 9 or 10 DPO next Sunday. I’m trying my hardest to hold off until at least 12 but I know I’m too impatient and I’ll probably test next Sunday. I did get a very faint BFP with my 18 month old on 9DPO.

I hate the TWW it’s making the world’s longest and slowest month even longer!

Not sure if it's because it's January, because this is cycle #1 or because an October baby would be ideal but I'm way more impatient than I was when conceiving DD - I was 3 days late and casually asked DH to get me a test when he next went to the shops! 😂

I’m 10dpo and still not tested! The temptation is so strong! My boobs are so sore but I know my progesterone is high so it could go either way! 🤞🏼

@TTCFTP not sure on tips but wanted to respond as I feel you! I came of mini pill in September and didnt get ny period back until til December! We are ttc baby no 2! I've just had my 2nd period back to a 28 day cycle so coming into fertile week from today 😃😃. Just wanted to show my support and share my experience. I suppose everyone is different. How have your cycles been? And what contraception were you on?

I'm also 10 dpo today, tested... What do you think?
