TTC 2026!

Hi everyone, I created the TTC 2025 thread but as we are heading into a new year, it only seems right to start a new thread. Anyone here going to be TTC in 2026? I started my journey earlier this year and after 9 months/cycles trying, I’m yet to see a positive test. Finding it difficult not to lose hope but hopefully 2026 will be our year. Would love to connect with others who are trying to conceive. It’s a tough journey but it helps to have a supportive group of women to chat to! ❤️ Good luck everyone, baby dust for 2026!

These look great ladies !! What a lucky thread so far 🙏
the only symptom I’ve had is breast tenderness - definitely different from af breast pain - that’s why I tested as just lasted for so long - feel very tired but when it comes to bedtime my mind is going crazy and I can’t sleep .. I’m so worried about a miscarriage- I’ve followed threads on here for so long and seen so many .. I’ve had several losses before (in my younger days ) always within days. I think I’m going to reach out to my epa tomo and see if they will see me just for reassurance that everything is where it is supposed to be. Feel like I have flu like symptoms todays so coming down with something -

Anonna123 · 04/01/2026 15:11

@RAP08 I'm really sorry to hear about your little girl, how sad 🙁 That must have been very difficult.
I don't think it's sunk in for me either. Although we've been chatting on and off about having a third child, we'd decided against it. Then I turned 40 and decided to leave it up to fate for a couple of months 🫣

EmCha · 05/01/2026 00:35

So lovely to see all these positive tests! Really hope I can join you with one. This is month 9 trying for me and I just can’t bear to look at anymore negative tests! I’m so worried that I’ll never have a positive. Just hit my fertile window so let’s see what happens! 🤞🏼

We must be around the same time in our cycle @EmCha - enjoy the next few days and I'll keep my fingers crossed for both of us!! Do you normally test or wait for AF? Said to myself I'll try and hold out this month

Im in the same situation as yourself, going to start TTC in April after 3 months healthier living, however we are ttc #1 after 2 previous losses.

Looking forward to hearing how you get on 💖

So sorry to hear of your losses, hope this will be your year xx

Tes004 · 05/01/2026 11:46

Morning ladies !! How’s everyone feeling ? Any new symptoms?
I took another cb weeks test yesterday and I’ve bumped a week in 2 days - took it because the bat died on my last one and wanted to see the words again. I reached out to my epu and they called me back offering me bloods and a 6 week scan. So that’s reassuring- I’ve had some mild r side pains so I’m a little worried. Just so want to be able to relax and enjoy things -

MissBxx · 05/01/2026 11:56

Hi All,

Hope it's okay that I join you all, and I'm so glad to see positives already!
I stopped taking the pill in September and my periods returned straight away and have remained like clockwork no issues there just not received any positives yet. I'm trying to track ovulation with test strips and the premom app however I still don't have a great understanding of it all yet. I have had 2 miscarriages in the past most recent in Dec 2024 (whilst on the pill) but nothing since. Will be our first together as my partner has 2 lovely boys from a previous. Really trying to not get my hopes up as I found myself obsessing over it all in November symptom spotting at every opportunity and then being upset seeing negative tests. Still feeling hopeful that I'll eventually get my much wanted positive just not allowing myself to be too hopeful! xx

RAP08 · 05/01/2026 12:52

@Tes004ill be taking morning tests for a while! No massive symptoms yet really. A few twinges/pulls in my lower stomach that I remember from my previous pregnancies and bloated at the end of the day!

Anonna123 · 05/01/2026 13:31

@Tes004 sore boobs and I fell asleep on the sofa yesterday which never happens! Congrats on bumping up on the digi test, such a milestone! I haven't taken a digi test yet but I'm planning to on Friday to celebrate HOPEFULLY not getting AF...! I took another test this morning and I can't work out if it's darker but it's not lighter which is something. Just taking every day as it comes.

Ooh six week scan, exciting! We're going to book one for 8 weeks🤞🤞 Only 4.5 weeks to go 🫣

@MissBxx welcome!

I used to test from 8dpo but it was really getting me down so the last cycle I waited for AF.

I’ve just got my peak! Not had one this strong for a while so I’m excited!

@EmCha ohhh exciting!! Bd time !!!

Tes004 · 07/01/2026 15:37

Hi ladies - I had my beta done today and got the result back if 438 which I have been told is in normal range and back in 2 days to check it’s doubled- with scan booked for next week.
has anyone had any experience with early betas ? Is this a good number ??

RAP08 · 07/01/2026 18:49

Sorry @Tes004 no experience of this but if told normal that’s good! How far along will you be for your first scan?

Tes004 · 08/01/2026 21:54

@RAP08 I believe around 6weeks now - I go for another beta tomo and nervous to see if it has doubled . I done another test today (to get rid of my last one) and got a dye stealer so I am sure things are progressing ok - but I do have quite a bit of pulling pinching feeling to my right side and lower back ache which is miserable- I’ll be fine if I know the baby is where it should be then I’ll know the rest is all just normal …
how is everyone getting on ? Anyone else testing this week or any symptom sharing ?? X

ewelb · 08/01/2026 22:04

Hi ladies, I'm going to join here, I'm 1-2 DPO. I already have symptoms...I know its probably in my head. Previous three attempts were chemical and one missed miscarriage. This time doctors will put me on progesterone as soon as we get BFP. Fingers crossed for all that trying

RAP08 · 09/01/2026 09:07

@Tes004let is know how you get on! I used my last test yesterday 4weeks and 4days and it was still really strong. Will probably end up buying more but currently snowed in up in Aberdeenshire. A bit of pinching/pulling now and then but nothing major. First wave of nausea yesterday which I’m not looking forward to! I don’t get the really bad morning sickness but it feels that way sometimes. The bedside table snacks will be back in force soon I think!

I'll be testing in 7 days. Its 3 dpo and I feel cramps, bladder pressure, frequent urination and a little nausea. I'm starting to think my ovu was earlier it's much to early for symptoms. How are you getting on?

Hi, welcome! Sorry to hear of your struggles. I’m no expert but I’ve heard that a lot of people start progesterone around 3DPO as it helps sustain a potential pregnancy. Just thinking is it worth looking into starting it even before a BFP?

OP posts:
EmCha · 09/01/2026 14:58

I’m in the dreaded two week wait! I think I’m 2DPO. I’m on cd17. Got my LH surge on cd14 so would’ve thought ovulation would be cd15 but my temp hadn’t risen yet on cd16 as it usually does. Got my temp rise today so defo ovulated just not sure on the exact day. I’m potentially only 1DPO! Going to try hard to distract myself this time around but I do have to go for a progesterone blood test next week so fingers crossed my numbers are good.

The 2 week wait !!! The worst !! Hang in there -
I had my beta back today - 960 so that’s great news and scan on Tuesday ,,, hurry up next week ! X

IThinkImThirtySomething · 09/01/2026 17:18

Hi all.
I would like to join the thread please.
we have 1 DS who has just turned 6 and are hoping to start ttc number 2 early summer on our holiday 😂
we’ve been on the fence about number 2 for so long (I have wanted another since DS was 3yo but DH wasn’t on board until recently so been talking about when best to start ttc!)

so whilst we aren’t actively trying just yet, it’s nice to read everyone’s journeys and hoping I can join in properly soon!

sending baby dust to you all xxx

bookandbiscuit · 09/01/2026 20:46

Hi everyone, if it's not too late to join I'd love to have company on the journey! My DH & I have decided to leave it up to fate for the next year whether or not we have a third. Trying to be casual about it, but I already started tracking ovulation. 😂

In the TWW right now, but we only got the chance to BD once during ovulation so it's probably not going to be my month. Excited to see what this year has to bring, but a little apprehensive too. We had a chemical pregnancy between our two DC, at exactly the 6 week mark. It shook me a lot more than I expected, and I'm really hoping it's smooth sailing this time.

I scanned the thread before joining, and just to say @Thingscouldntgetanyworse I have 4 siblings and the one I'm probably closest too is 11 years older. They moved out when I was young, so as children we didn't have a relationship really, but as adults they're one of my best friends. ❤️

Hi all, been TTC following a MMC in May 2025, also another in November (with pretty horrific treatment and recovery). I had a chemical in December and think I’ve got a faint positive today at 10DPO. Slight issue…I’m due bloods next week for a referral to the recurrent miscarriage clinic, my review then isn’t until March. So unsure what to do

Call early pregnancy unit and explain your situation they should start you on progesterone after few checks

Orangeroses243 · 10/01/2026 14:30

AF arrived early yesterday for me (due Sunday according to flo app) Good luck to all those still waiting current cycle. As for me
Never mind on to the next cycle 🙂 According to app next fertile days are 18th to the 24th of Jan making o day roughly 22nd Jan.
I am not going to be using o strips or temp I am just going to bd everyother day for a week and a half from 17th and see how we get on 🙃
Do I have a cycle buddy out there? Im now cycle day 2. Be nice share and support 🙂🙂🙂
