Hi guys! Opening a thread for those ttc in the new year! I'll be starting again after an MMC in November, fingers crossed that this'll be a lucky year for all!

Hi guys, I wasn't expecting to ovulate until 17dpo as that's when it happened last cycle, confirmed by clear blue static smiley. This cycle I've been caught off guard as soon as I started testing on cd11 it came as a positive on cheapy and clear blue. Gutted I may have missed the boat again! Dtd today and will tomorrow but I feel sad.

@90yomakeuproom What rotten luck! I know exactly how you feel, I missed my window last month and it was so frustrating. Hopefully dtd today will still leave you in with a good chance, it only takes once!

Thank you! Yes I suppose it does only take once. I'm just so impatient 🤣 I guess we all are! Really don't want to wait another month though. Hopefully this is the one for lots of us!

Has any one else got really long cycles/ PCOS? Im currently CD9 and not due to ovulate until Feb 14th, according to my app! Struggling with the fact I only have 6 chances a year to conceive, feels like the odds are stacked against me!

Silly really as my cycle has been this way my whole life, in fact i only used to have 3 periods a year so it’s has improved post 1st pregnancy. Just feeling a bit down about it tonight

Yes, definitely impatient! In the tww i drove myself crazy thinking “if I’m pregnant now I’ll start showing in X month, will tell family at X time. The baby will fit these baby clothes from my first” etc. And then I wasn’t as I had missed ovulation 🤦‍♀️. Think I need to practice what I tell my 2 year old “patience is a virtue” 😂

I'm only 4 dpo but I behave like heavily pregnant 😂I even look for a pram and baby clothes online.. There's something wrong with me😂

The baby clothes!! I don’t even need any more as I kept everything from my eldest (who grew so fast everything is still in great condition) but can’t stop searching cute babygrows on Vinted! 🙈

@HelloDarknessmyoldfrenemyI'm sorry to hear that, but at least your periods have improved since your little one! Is there any medication that can help make them more frequent? I unfortunately don't know about that, as I have the opposite - my last cycles were 25 days long, which is great when ttc but horrible otherwise! I feel like I just finish my period an then it starts again lol!
@ewelbI'm a bit ahead you, as I'm about 7/8 dpo but I have absolutely no symptoms except for getting really angry at everything in the last few days 😂I had that with my MMC as well but I also had on an off light back ache which I don't have now! Planning to test Thursday / Friday

AF arrived for me this morning so out this month! Only 1st month though so to be expected but last time I fell in first month so was hoping it would be as easy this time. I was the opposite last time, couldn’t believe my luck that I had fallen first time!

good luck everyone else on this cycle. I am going to start testing LH as soon as AF has finished and going to continue with BBT. With the all the differences in the apps, I think Flo was the most accurate!

12DPO for me today and a big fat negative test to kickstart the week. I am absolutely gutted, not going to lie. Going to allow myself to feel sad today and then put my positive pants back on tomorrow. Hope we all get our good luck in the next few months!

I couldn’t resist testing early today at 11DPO. Whilst I think the first test I took has a visible line I didn’t have to squint for, I think it’s too faint for 11DPO anyway. Then I took a random test I’ve had in my cupboard for ages that said it needed 25ml HCG (the easy@home need 10 I think) and there is just a hint of a shadow line on there, and my understanding is it should be darker by now if it was a viable pregnancy anyway. So also think I’m out! I think the easy@home is showing me an indent line.

Makes my life easier in a way this month because I won’t have to make up a reason not to drink in front of my in laws at the weekend, but still feeling a little blue.

I think the second one looks promising but even the first one! If you implanted 9/10 dpo these are good lines! I'd retest tomorrow for sure

CD26 for me, no period yet. Boobs still sore, still ravenous and weird pelvic pain idk if it's my uterus or constipation again, the constipation has been brutal this cycle 😵‍💫 technically my period is due today but my cycle average is 27 last ones were 27 26 26 27 I am very tempted to test today but I told myself I'll only order tests for tomorrow if I am sure I'm not gonna start my period by later this evening. My clue app is confusing me saying due in 3 days why would it be 29 days when average is 27 Clue? 🧐 confusing!🥲

@ripleynot I think the easy@home looks like a faint line rather than an indent! Don't lose all hope and test again tomorrow, I know it's frustrating when results are ambiguous...

@90yomakeuproom I think you might have timed it perfectly, doesn’t it mean that you’re about to ovulate, not that you already have? So yesterday and today are perfect!

Oh god, wasn’t expecting people to say those looked positive!!! Feel so anxious now - might have to run out on my lunch break and buy another test to try and put my mind at rest.

Does anyone have any recommendations on the best test to buy for a definitive answer? I know the only real answer is “wait!!!!” but wow this is so hard!

@ripleynot Perhaps try a digital test? I remember even when I had a very faint line, the digital picked it up. Good luck x

For me it looks positive, I had fainter line that this on frer on 12 dpo when I was pregnant with my, now 14 year old.
