TWW feels like forever

WHY does the TWW feel like forever?! I thought I was 7dpo then I actually hit my peak late, and now I’m 3dpo and just want to test😂 fertile window being 28th-2nd with ovulation on 3rd and BD every other day so really hoping it’s done the trick. Had a chemical on Nov 10th. Did anyone fall pregnant the cycle after a chemical?

Ok so I’ve probably got line eyes from
squinting and hoping but I can see something faint here, I thought I did yday but it was even fainter so I put it down to being an indent but now I’m not so sure. I’m scared to hope 😬 I’ve also woke up with a bloody cold 🤧

@Bassbeh17 you absolutely haven’t jinxed it. Put the car seat somewhere away and safe and just forget about it for now. I hope you’re feeling okay today?

My period is on its way to finishing, thankfully they only last for three days and I only get one heavy day. I’m interested to see what happens with the ovulation strips when I start using them. But for now, I’m going to enjoy the next few days of not doing anything (womb related!).

I went back to the bathroom 10 minutes later just to check and see……are we calling this positive??

@PandaLife ahhhhh!!! I’ve shoved the test in my pocket because I don’t want to show my husband until I’ve done another one later and see if it’s stronger but also don’t want to throw it out 🤣🤣
definitely enjoy your break, taking my mind off it that week between period and ovulation was like a holiday! Keeping it all crossed for you

Update for me - negative, 11dpo, awful cramps like my period is going to come immediately. I don't know what's going on - maybe it is on its way, I feel very confused and sad.

Of course there will always be that feeling of sadness that we haven’t got ours yet, but we are all on the same journey - that’s why we’re chatting in this group. It is to be expected that positives will come along. The happiness I feel for you outweighs the sad though, I genuinely feel very excited and I look forward to seeing a stronger line or digital update :D

I'd love to see some positive tests on here so please post if you get more later ❤if it doesn't work out then we are all here for you too.

I will try to stay a little bit positive here! I am using the pre mom/easy at home sticks at the moment. I will probably test later when I get home x

Hi girls, I was mia for a few weeks there when AF came, just to refocus etc but I’m back in the trenches on 7 dpo and really absolutely nothing so far to symptoms spot on. I was so convinced last month & had every symptom goin, I was so shocked and deflated when Af appeared.

@Bassbeh17 that is a definite positive, huge congrats, lovely to see and gives us all excitement and hope that our time is coming too 🥰 it’s a tough lonely road ttc so groups like this keep us sane!

im thinking ill test on Saturday or Sunday of I can holdout that long 😅

@DmcinT welcome back! I’m either 7/8dpo today and I feel exactly the same as you. few twinges today and a bit of lower back ache but I’m not holding out much hope this cycle! Fingers crossed for us! I’ll be testing at the weekend too x

Ladies I’m freaking out, my friends little girls had a playdate with my daughter 2 evenings in a row to cover our parents evenings and she’s just text to say she’s come out in chickenpox. I’ve just got my positive 😭

I’ve a friend who is about 18 weeks pregnant and her toddlers just had chicken pox a couple of weeks ago - they’re all fine with no issues! Try not to overthink it - easier said than done I know!

I’m now 12dpo but not convinced I did ovulate - so 12 days past the day after my best peak I guess 😅
Still no period here, still got cramping but probably a bit less today than last couple of days weirdly. Did do a test this morning which was negative - all just feels like a waiting game to start next cycles countdown really!

@CauliflowerCheese00 just wondering out of curiosity.. what happens if u didn’t ovulate? Do u miss a period and kinda go straight towards fertile window again ? Sorry if u have mentioned but why do u think u mightn’t have ovulated?

I only stopped hormonal contraception late December so I think my body is still working its hormones out.
I had positive ovulation tests and symptoms in Jan - but this month I “only” got a peak of 0.74 according to the Premom app, and no ovulation symptoms. The app is saying I ovulated and that was my peak - ChatGPT said it’s too low to be an ovulation peak. I carried on testing for another 9 days I think, and it’s been consistently low since.
So who knows really!!

I certainly feel like my period is due any minute but I guess it’s all a waiting game to see isn’t it - hoping next cycle things have ironed out a bit!

a month ahead of you and it took me three cycles, my cycle last month I could tell just wasn’t ready. x

Yeah that describes it really well - my body just doesn't feel ready yet!
I feel really at peace with it at the moment - didn’t two weeks ago whilst I agonised over the bizarre ovulation test results obviously 🤣

@CauliflowerCheese00 I am also wondering if I did really ovulate. I got my peak on the clear blue digital monitor on day 14 this cycle but I had very very little fertile CM. However in the last few days I have been having cramps that feel a lot like ovulation cramps, and for the last three days a TONNE of fertile quality CM, more than I have ever seen (I was actually pretty shocked!) I am on cycle day 25. I looked back through my Flo app data and in the last year I have had two cycles which were 39 and 41 days long, where I log an early LH peak around day 14 but have later ovulation symptoms and a late period.

Due to the insane volume of ewcm I am assuming i'm either ovulating or pregnant. Of course I would like it to be the latter 😂i am 12dpo tomorrow according to my peak and will do another test.

We had sex this evening just incase!!!!

Definitely sounds like you could be ovulating now!! Best to cover all your bases 😅😅

@CauliflowerCheese00 yep - a big bar of chocolate in case it's pms, a box of cheap pregnancy tests in case i'm pregnant, dtd in case I'm ovulating and tampons lined up in case it's my period arriving early 😂

Definitely showing up today 11dpo! Had a bit of nausea last night which isn’t a surprise as I had it for 18 weeks with my daughter! Also been awake since 5:30 am, I forgot about how many nights I spent awake last time with pregnancy insomnia. Gonna call my GP today now I’ve had a darker line as we are on holiday in 5 weeks. Annoyingly I likely won’t get a scan before I go as I will be 9 weeks when we fly, has anyone ever had a scan earlier? My last experience of this was during lockdown for pregnancy and then lockdown when I went into labour so I feel like I’ve not done it before 🤣

@Bassbeh17 thats so exciting!! 🥰 we can all say congratulations now yes? 👶🏼 I’m not sure what to say in regards to the scan, people have early scans so it might be offered? Otherwise it might be a case of having one once you get back. You could always look at private ones, I don’t believe they’re particularly expensive?

My period was very short this month. Usually they’re three days long, I guess you could say this was three days. But first day I could have gotten away with wearing the same pad from morning to the following morning, second day it was heavy enough to have to change every few hours, but I’d call it medium flow, then yesterday I had a bit of something in the morning but then absolutely nothing. I didn’t even wear knickers to bed last night, that’s how much it’s dried up! it must all be related. I just hope it’s a blip and sorts itself out for this next cycle :/
