TWW feels like forever

WHY does the TWW feel like forever?! I thought I was 7dpo then I actually hit my peak late, and now I’m 3dpo and just want to test😂 fertile window being 28th-2nd with ovulation on 3rd and BD every other day so really hoping it’s done the trick. Had a chemical on Nov 10th. Did anyone fall pregnant the cycle after a chemical?

Thanks everyone, I dropped a urine sample in at 8am and called at lunch as I was meant to be on the triage list, apparently it got dipped and sent to lab as something in it 🤷🏽‍♀️ waiting for a call STILL!! Hoping they phone soon but my doctors can be useless.
offically entered the tww today but now I’m worrying ridiculously like maybe I didn’t release an egg or what if this is something horrible and affects it if I did 🫣

I’ve never tested my bbt but my Fitbit does some kind of temp and last night it went up sooo much but I think it’s more skin temp. Not really sure what the difference is. It went up +0.5. But who knows. I’m roughly 6dpo today.ast night got the occasional sharp pinch in my uterus area and today the same pinching feeling. Think I’m just super aware of my body now since tracking my cycles for a while. Just learnt after so many disappointments, not to get my hopes up!

9dpo today, not feeling prego at all, but this 2ww has flown by for once which has been nice. ☺️ I did start getting sore boobs yesterday as I normally get, but the funny thing is it’s only one boob 🤣 they’re both swollen but only left is sore. Wth

well now I’m super confused because the dr text me and said nothing in jt but sent to the lab to confirm and we might have to look at alternative reasons for symptoms. I feel absolutely shattered and quite emotionally drained to be honest so I’m off to bed early!! Gotta sleep through this tww !!

Ahh thank you! No I haven’t tested but no AF symptoms and 10dpo tomorrow (or 12DPO going by when I was originally predicted to ovulate) so I’ve bought some early response tests, I think I’ll see what my BBT is is the morning. Getting (more) nervous and wondering whether it is still too early.

@Bassbeh17 definitely follow up that up. Weird that you were give mixed messages, but also that it’s come back fine. Your symptoms aren’t imaginary, so keep pushing until you get answers.

I took a clear blue early yesterday, negative. I’m beginning to think I’m definitely out. However, I’m sure I’ll still keep testing until my period starts

@TashieWoo my “temp” thing from my watch was +0.7 last night. Probably means absolutely nothing but we shall see what happens on Sunday!

@Bassbeh17 really sorry it sounds like you were mucked around a bit by the GP. Strictly speaking they should be treating the symptoms in the first instance, which are UTI like symptoms, especially as you have been having a lot of sex recently which is a risk for getting one. That's irrespective of a negative dip or culture. You should be given antibiotics, then they can rule out UTI and move onto investigating something else if it doesn't get better! Have they made you another appointment? Sending you lots of hugs. Stressful enough TTC without all that x

I agree with @SKLM hope they give you some antibiotics to rule it out. I’ve had many uti’s that came up negative on my culture tests in labs. I had to do it several times, but they treated me anyway due to symptoms and finally caught it on a sample. So if you have symptoms that should be ruled out anyway

in other news, I’m 10dpo today. Tested negative yesterday which bummed me out. I know I’m not ‘out’ but it feels like I am. When I had a healthy pregnancy I was already positive by 9dpo. I don’t feel pregnant or anything (and I always feel that specific feeling if I am)

my late positives were all chemicals. Urgh :(

I was too nervous to test this morning as at 11dpo still perhaps too early but my BBT was up +0.4 this morning which I don’t think it has been at this point in my cycle before, but I’m certainly not counting my chickens and waiting for AF which could come today. If it doesn’t then I’ll test tomorrow morning. Working from home tomorrow so have an easier day, currently on my way into east London to do a load of site visits in the rain and really don’t want AF to come when I’m with colleagues etc. it always starts as a bit of old brown blood from the last cycle a few days before, which has only been a thing since I had DD.

@TashieWoo no, my period isn’t due until next week. So I’ve technically got some time yet. Although I’ve been crampy today and it feels like my period is due to start any moment, which I hope isn’t the case otherwise it’ll be a very short cycle. I only finished my AF on the 24th Dec. My cycles are still unpredictable as I only came off the coil in October so my dates could be any time 😂 next month I plan on using ovulation strips to get a better idea of what’s happening.

I keep telling myself to just wait until period expected date, but it’s so much easier said than done. Seeing the stark white test isn’t very nice :(

Thanks for the check ins guys! I’m alright tbf, I’ve got the odd bit of cramping but I’ve not had to run to the loo like yday and not the level of pain I had Sunday so I reckon it was a bit of cystitis maybe and potentially my pill was covering up some things.
sunday was ovulation day for me so I feel like this tww is gonna be hell! I had a really random and sudden twinge lower right today so I’m hoping that’s a good thing 🤞🏼
I’ve not done any ovulation strips after that peak Saturday and we’ve stopped having sex for a few days to let my body recover 😂

@PandaLife I’ve never had a coil but I think you’re right in that your cycles are still getting back to normal and good idea to use text strips next time.

Nothing as yet, to be honest I’m not an especially hormonal person and I don’t have any signs of anything yet, but I think I’ll test tomorrow if nothing happens today, then I’ll be either 11 or 12DPO.

perhaps a tmi question but does ewcm tend to stop immediately after ovulation? I’m not sure whether I have the right ovulation date as first my Oura ring predicted 01/01 then it was 03/01, based on temperature I think. We DTD on 30/12, 01/01 and 02/01 so hopefully covered.

The last two months I’ve had zero discharge after my predicted ovulation dates but then it’s also been very little during .. which makes me wonder if I did ovulate at all 🤷🏻‍♀️ who knew I’d be questioning my body this much at almost 36 years old ha! As we speak I have a lot of it, which is another reason why I think I’m due on soon..

Morning! Don’t know whether to look at this, but had a big drop last night. Supposedly 8dpo today so who knows. Most likely out before I’ve even tested x

@Bubs94 I had a similar drop at around that time then it went up again, I think how you feel is perhaps more important and as long as it is still above your BBT

I'm 8dpo today and getting uncomfortable stomach cramps, more over to one side but some in the middle too. I hope this is a good sign rather than a bad one! Have been feeling quite down since the weekend, my boy has an ear infection and we have all caught the cold he had before that. Lots of sleepless nights for over a week as he has been in pain. Feeling a bit negative about TTC and have convinced myself this won't be my month x

I totally get what you’re feeling, I feel like I’m getting my hopes up and heading for a big fall. I’m worried my pill has been covering up lots of things and driving myself a bit nuts! I’m only 3DPO so wouldn’t notice anything yet anyway and I don’t think I did with my daughter. My boobs definitely hurt but they did last month too so I’m just going to have to be patient (whilst silently driving myself mad!)
