Well I reckon you could test today! (Though you might be better waiting till tomorrow morning, or at least holding your wee for the next 4 hours) You never know...

If you want to wait for a more reliable result, then wait till the day before your period is due, it's not totally failproof, but will give you much better idea.

So you more than likely OV'ed on the 2nd/3rd, 10miu tests will pick up extremely early, I'd hold off going to the loo for a while, and cave today, but is up to you whether you want a deffo result or the excitment of a very early BFP!

LP = latal phase, it is basically from when you OV to when your period comes. Is usually 14 days but can be anything from 10-18 days, any longer or shorter could give rise to some problems, but not always.

Morning NJ. Yes, very fed up. In this calendar year I've had about five weeks off work already and I'm about to embark on another....

My pg symptoms...hmmmm let me see (I love this bit of TTC - its kind of like horoscopes - you want to believe it but you know its all made up!)

I'm quite hungry all the time (just like when I'm due AF),
I haven't got sore boobs (like I have had for the past three AF's),
I haven't had any cramps but I've had ache's (unlike the last three AF's),
I've got a really bloody uncomfortable stuffy nose (probably linked to tonsillitis),
I've had a miraculous eczema cure (cried last night with happiness as they are 'normal' for first time in months) - probably due to the 3 weeks of antibiotics
I've been motivated to re-arrange and do some tidying despite being poorly (again, does sometimes happen with AF though not very common)

NJ - perhaps its time to start teaching DS1 about '999' and its appropriate use in readiness?

erm....okay.... now here's my problem, i dont feel pg and with tomorrow being my birthday it'd be amazing to get a BFP.... but i honestly think seeing a BFN would dampen my day and make it feel finalised.... even if it could still be too early!!!

NJ- TELL me when to test.... not just say when i could test!!!

Thanks NJ for clearing that up for me... seen it mentioned a few times. Have learnt SOOO much on this thread - tis fab! My BF told me yesterday she is pg, but didn't know when she'd concieved. We were able to narrow it down due to my near encylapedic knowledge of EWCM! hee hee

Glaskham - test the day after your birthday, = no disappointment and you'll always remember when it was because of being so close if it is a +ve.

Cals, if you're trying to be good and wait to test, going to ILs without teh tests would ensure you couldn't! If you got a BFP would you tell them or have to keep queit?

erm...due 14th or 15th....got early pg tests though.....

oh and another thing i'm not getting all moody and grumpy like i normally do the week before AF but i think that may be exitement from my birthday not pg.... i had shed loads of 'symptoms' last cycle and had nothing this time.... i think i could be hanging onto a pee for another couple of hours.... i went to the loo at 8am when i got up.... so i cant go to the loo before 12noon!!!!

oh now i said that i'm starting to need the loo!!!!

may have to wait till thursday instead.... first thing on thursday i'll test!!..... oh until today i hadn't even considered testing before the 15th!!!
