LOL, I can't help it, the thought of people testing get's me all excited.... yes I am a complete fruitcase!

Right Cal, email isn't working properly, something about a POP server.... (why is DH always at work when things break?!!) Can I text you my number?

glaskham · 10/06/2008 10:28

well i shall see if i can hold my pee.... if i can i shall be back to let you all know.... wondering if i should go and buy a decent test to do for thursday morning....

hahahahahahaha!! dd has stripped herself off.... is walking round the room with a red headband on but she looks very 80's and its beign worn like a sweat band!! she's such a cutie...

NatalieJaneIsPregnantAgain · 10/06/2008 10:31

Glask, you can hold it, but don't go drinking loads, or eating too much salt, it just needs to be an accumalation of what you'd produce in the night IYKWIM?

I'd hold on the decent tests till at least the day before your period is due, FR are good, but even they can give false negatives, I think Kay didn't get a BFP with one when her period was due... (Is that right Kay?)

NatalieJaneIsPregnantAgain · 10/06/2008 10:32

Sorry meant to say, put some bright red lippy on DD, and some leg warmers, take a pic, and hound her with it in her teens

glaskham · 10/06/2008 10:34

i am holding still!!! an hour and a half to go!!!

I wont drink a thing till afterwards... only had a drink of water after i went to the loo last anyway.... well if i'd be due to test on saturday or sunday then i'll get a good test for then if i dont get a BFP today or thursday with the cheapies... why am i getting so exited when i dont even think i am anyway???!!!!

glaskham · 10/06/2008 10:36

talking of make-up, yesterday she was in the bathroom, in my make-up bag (which is rarely used i may add) and she was putting illuminating powder on her face.... i've only put make up on a couple of times in front of her but she knew exactly what to do!! and she's got good taste, went for the No7 stuff instead of the avon!!

NatalieJaneIsPregnantAgain · 10/06/2008 10:40

LOL, bless her.

DS1 mixed my (Estee Lauder fucking £26 quids worth!) eyeshadow with water to make paint, and painted the carpet, the walls, the bathroom, his bed, not forgetting himself...! Still makes me grrrrr! LOL

NatalieJaneIsPregnantAgain · 10/06/2008 10:41

Right well, if you are hanging on till 12, I am going to go and watch BB, couldn't keep awake for it last night, and I want to know how the wedding went! Will be back for 12 failing an emergency!

Ooooooohhh it is exciting

glaskham · 10/06/2008 10:42

haha!! but can imagine the grrrrr!!

kookykid · 10/06/2008 10:43

at your DCs! I had to give my DD a little powder brush to do her face. She kind of stabs her nose with it and then I have to bend down so she can 'do' mine!

kayzisexpecting · 10/06/2008 10:43

Thats right Nat. I got BFP's with ebay cheapies the day before AF was due but it was the day after AF was due that the FR showed up.

DS is finally asleep on the sofa, snoring away. Its so bloody hot here and he is dripping with sweat. He only has a vest on.

glaskham · 10/06/2008 10:44

ok.... i'll get off and do some hoovering and get some washign out... will be back shortly after i test to inform you... will have to be quick though as i have the nursery run at 12.30!!

kookykid · 10/06/2008 10:55

Good luck Glask!!

Bit chilly here, but we're off for a picnic with the other village mums soon (get me, will ya!? - so not a city-girl anymore!).

pregnantpopcornprincess · 10/06/2008 11:22

Morning - hope you are all well. I've had a quick read to catch up with the thread. NJ, bet you can't wait to get your car.

I went to town yesterday to buy some more work trousers as i can't get my others done up and I found a really nice fitting pair of maternity ones in New Look. £18!!!! Bargain. They are soooooo comfy. I had no idea that they did maternity clothes so am chuffed to bits with my find. Oh dear - it's offical, the slightest thing pleases me now - I must be getting old

Are there any other shops that have started selling maternity clothes that I should know about?

calsworld · 10/06/2008 11:33

PPP - only ones I can think of are Dorothy Perkins, Next, H&M, M&S have a much bigger range than they used to and think Debenhams may have a section not sure on that one.

Thinks........

Nope, can't think of anymore!!

NJ - course you can text me, I just didn't think of that!

pg brain?

Teuch · 10/06/2008 11:54

pregnantpopcornprincess · 10/06/2008 11:58

The mothercare in our town has just shut down - how blardy useless is that!!! I will check out M&S and Miss Selfridge as I had no idea that they did maternity. THANKS.

Right must get on and do my bosses expenses.............................

kayzisexpecting · 10/06/2008 11:58

Urgh, Just been really sick. I've had to ring in sick at work which I hate doing. Got a doctors appointment at 16:20 might ask about headaches too.

[Bad Mummy Alert] I have had to give DS a bottle for lunch as when I opened his food I went to be sick. I'll have to get DH to make him a nice dinner tonight.

Good to see you Teuch.

glaskham · 10/06/2008 12:01

Oh pop H&M do lovely maternity clothes and very good prices too!!

NatalieJaneIsPregnantAgain · 10/06/2008 12:01

Text sent, there is no escaping me now!!

I think some of the supermarkets clothes range do maternity, not sure though (have seen things on eBay from 'George', that is Asda isn't it?)

Is Glask here yet?

NatalieJaneIsPregnantAgain · 10/06/2008 12:03

Oh you're here

Hiya Teuch, get your arse back missus, we've got a tester

kayzisexpecting · 10/06/2008 12:03

I am starving but don't know what to eat that I won't throw back up.

NatalieJaneIsPregnantAgain · 10/06/2008 12:04

kayzisexpecting · 10/06/2008 12:04
