Joining this thread for my first TWW TTC #2! Currently on CD17 (4DPO estimated).
It’s been comically badly timed so almost definitely out this month. DTD on days 9/10/11 then got sick and was giving antibiotics over the rest of my ovulation window! This the first time I’ve ever had antibiotics and I don’t usually get ill, so it’s really annoying timing. I have super regular periods but suspect that either being ill or the medicine may delay AF this month.
Planning to test on day 28/29 if AF doesn’t show my then but not getting my hopes up.

Aw thank you. We’ve been trying for around 4 months so not super long but I conceived first try with my first so naively thought it would be easy this time too. I was 37 when we conceived our first. We waited for various reasons - money, moving, new job and qualifying for maternity pay. I just feel so much time pressure.

@Bluepiano i also thought baby #3 would be easy to conceive...1&2 worked on 1st and 2nd try...#3 took 7 months and i'm 33 so you just never know

@Bluepianototally can understand the time pressure. As others say, don’t give up hope yet. You never know.
baby 1 I got pregnant first go, so I was upset when it isn’t as easy this time. Hoping this cycle will be the one as long as we DTD enough haha

Thanks for asking, still not feeling great tbh and I’m sure the antibiotics are making me feel a bit nauseous which is a really annoying because then a tiny part of me thinks it’s symptoms of a pregnancy which is so ridiculously unlikely I need to just move on. Keen for the next cycle now.

DC1 was conceived first try so a bit new to this. When are you planning on testing this cycle?

We're on cycle #3 now but no BDing yet because we're both ill 🤦‍♀️🤣

Trying OPKs this month. What is usually classed as the 'peak' number? I got 0.05 on my last one yesterday (CD9) so definitely not there yet.

Last month my peak was at 1.46. I think anything above 0.8 will be considered high, so your peak can be any value above that which is the highest during the surge. Hope this makes sense

I hope it is ok if I join… I had my first positive in August but unfortunately had a miscarriage/chemical at just under 5 weeks, we tried again straight away and now I am 11 dpo (I think I may have actually ovulated later than that though from my ovulation tests) I’m having some crazy symptoms this time that I didn’t with the last. I am super bloated and I’m having a lot of nausea which has been all day until around 4pm for the last 4 days… negative test today which is bumming me out, does anyone have any experience with a negative 11 dpo and testing positive later on? I’m due on on Friday/Saturday.

@JHpr hey 👋 I can’t advise re late positives as don’t know how many dpo I was when I conceived my son, but hopefully someone else can help 🤞🏻

I’ve done another Clearblue this evening, no idea on how long I’d been holding but my pee was really dark, but not even a squiff of a line ☹️ will see what happens in the morning

@JHprprobably bot the answer your looking for but symptoms before positive test are not due to pregnancy but more likely progesterone..if they are pregnancy symptoms your test will be positive 😕😕 fingers crossed tho 11dpo is still early 🫶🏻

@Ec2808dont worry I’m just looking for anything to keep me a little more sane right now! I just never usually have any symptoms before period so this is very different for me

@Kittybway it could be an estrogen dip, but I’m not sure. Hopefully someone else with more knowledge of bbt can help 🙂

I think your chart looks good! It’s positive your temp has come back up and fingers crossed it stays up! When are you planning to test?

getting my prescription this afternoon so will be able to go in on Friday morning for my blood did a clearblue weeks indicator last night and got 2-3 weeks so hoping for the best! ❤
