Has to be some ovulation spotting then I’d imagine 👍🏻

Is that normal? Never had it before.

Thanks

I’m out- just popped into the supermarket to grab a test and my period started. Guess it saved me some money! Meeting with the fertility expert next week so hopefully she’ll be able to give me some feedback on diet. DH has straight up refused to complete any of the food diaries, where the glucose tracker or book an SA which is frustrating.

MoonLitLavender · 21/08/2025 13:04

I think I'm out, today's the first day of my missed period and the tests are stark negative. All the symptoms I was having seem to have twindled off and my lower belly feels heavy asif i'm going to come on. I'll keep testing until AF arrives and I will keep you updated 🙂

LilacBow45 · 21/08/2025 14:36

I’m out, AF arrived this afternoon. Very disappointed as I had no obvious symptoms of AFs arrival. Kind of knew yesterday, had a internal scan for a persistent cyst they found following my MMC and suspected aunt flow would arrive

Thank you! It’s cycle 13 next month so hopefully that will be my lucky number! Wishing everyone a happy, healthy pregnancy whether it starts this month or next month or in the future. I’m a big believer of babies arriving exactly when they were meant to!

EmPeEf · 21/08/2025 15:08

Oh that sucks, so sorry x But I hope you have a wonderful trip.

posted this on the other thread but thought I’d join this one too :) my partner and I had given up trying this month (well, OPK testing) after I had a chemical last month, but I had a blood panel done randomly today (CD19) which included progesterone and it’s come back at 10nmol. I have 35/36 day cycles so the doctor and chat gpt have suggested it means I ovulated 1-2 days ago.

I usually ovulate around day 21, so slightly early this month. We did DTD both those days so I guess I’m not deliberately back in the 2ww so here I am at 2dpo!

EmPeEf · 21/08/2025 21:29

That’s really positive news, @LovelyMuddles! Just goes to show having sex throughout the month can really help. My first chemical was from sex way after I thought I’d ovulated and had just given up even testing LH. Fingers crossed for you this month 🤞🏻

Started spotting yesterday and have had some cramps and that heavy feeling like I’m about to come on. Still very light spotting but I have a feeling this isn’t implantation but that I’m out as this is how AF started last month :(

snacksandnaps · 24/08/2025 13:54

Joining as ttc first baby, cycle 2 in sep. Believe i got my timings wrong for August so have bought ovulation sticks. Late 30s and have this background anxiety that iv left it too late, but life doesn't always go the way you planned! Im trying to keep distracted and stay off google. Fingers crossed for everyone else who is ttc in sep x

Did your gp offer the blood test? I’d like to know if I’m even fertile 😆
I could be missing precious sleep DTD for absolutely no possibility of a baby

Yes hun the GP did the blood tests and then referred me to fertility. We have a child already so I was surprised.

Ive had faint lines on easy at home and clear blue today so fingers crossed i’m out. I'm 11DPO. Could be 10

Ok so maybe famous last words… had cramps and that ‘heavy’ feeling that I was coming on 3 days ago. Since then no more cramps, tiny amounts of spotting, not progression to full blown AF, and having some possible symptoms of tiredness and being a bit more emotional/sensitive. Hard to know if it’s just PMS symptoms and I’m just a bit late, but my app says I should do a test tomorrow when I’m back from holiday 😬

NavigatingLife · 25/08/2025 08:41

I'm 10DPO today, took and easy@home yesterday with BFN but today the easy@home has a vvfl!! So used one of my first response tests and it's come back positive! Really excited of course with a bit of nervousness that I worry the line isn't very strong but telling myself I'm still quite early!

I'm now 9dpo, period not due until Saturday - boobs have been tender at the sides (but this isn't entirely unusual for me in luteal phase), at 7dpo I was an absolute raging bitch and ruined a nice day out (unusual for me lol), then yesterday 8dpo at about 9pm when I went to pee I had some light brown stringy CM only on wiping (also unusual for me, if I do spot it is only the day before period), this happened twice then no more and now this morning I'm having a lot of cramping (weird for me as I don't normally cramp at all, I tend to get low down back pain before period instead). I have been veeeery tired over past week but this seems to have eased off today so we will see what happens.

I am trying so hard to wait until 14dpo to test but unsure if I can hold out that long lmao

Marvelftw · 25/08/2025 12:31

@NavigatingLife I saw someone post that the new first step tests have an issue with them where they’re not been getting darker as the pregnancy progresses. It might be worth getting Clearblue to help you more accurately track the lines.

@thehumgoesonforever Your symptoms sound a lot like mine were when I tested positive! Do you have any early detection tests?

EmPeEf · 25/08/2025 13:52

@NavigatingLife that’s a great line, congratulations!

SleepySkyRat · 25/08/2025 16:35

So just did a clear blue early response and have a faint line!! Still in shock so going to check again tomorrow but even hubby said he can see it but didn’t realise if it was faint it was still positive haha

@Marvelftw I’ve only got the easy@home ones, i don’t even know if they’re early detection, my brain is like “do one tomorrow morning do one tomorrow morning” hahaha

Marvelftw · 25/08/2025 18:54

@thehumgoesonforever ooh they are early detection! Good luck for tomorrow morning :)

As an update for me, AF is due on Friday and I’m pretty sure I’m feeling the swollen crampy feeling that it’s going to come. Very disappointed but gave it a good go this month. Will see those of you who don’t get baby dust this time over in the September thread.

JH20000 · 25/08/2025 22:01

I’m on second cycle and haven’t tracked as much as last month. It’s really helped with the anxiety of it all. We’ve just dtd every 2/3 days and I took a few ovulation tests last week which indicated ovulation occurred at some point last week I think. Took another today and the line is definitely a lot lighter. Now just waiting with fingers crossed!!
