I’m 1DPO, cycle 8 for a first baby 🤞🏼

Hi all, I just wanted to jump back on and let you all know baby boy made his appearance Easter Saturday 🥰

@NatalieSFawww gosh I bet that's so stressful 😥 keep on to the council especially if its asbestos and your sleeping downstairs pregnant with another child. Surely thats a priority!

@Lh4503 oh my god 30 weeks! I’m finishing at 34 weeks which I know is super early but with the Reno and the house upside down I feel like I need the extra few weeks to get organised plus I’m still conscious baby might be a few weeks early like my first. I will be waiting very impatiently if I’m still pregnant at 38 weeks 🤣 I would say finish earlier if you can, baby will be stuck to you for the next few years enjoy some peace before she comes! I’m doing ok minus feeling like a whale and the tiredness ☺️

@NatalieSFoh no did you manage to get a decent view in the end? 3.5 hours is a mission 😂 hope you get sorted there soon nothing worse than everything being upside down!

Hey guys, we’ve come full circle, baby boy (very dramatically) arrived into the world yesterday. He’s happy and healthy, and I’ve never been so tired or in love.

@Lh4503 it’s cooler today thankfully it’s been horrendous trying to sleep the last few nights and I’m exhausted 😩 hope you’ve been coping ok? Not long to go for you now? When’s your due date again?

@EllieWalesYes just about though have spent a bit of time in hospital recently as I got diagnosed with severe ICP a pregnancy liver condition. I was told id need to be induced at around 36 weeks but my July baby had other ideas and arrived the early hours of this morning. 5 weeks early! ( so get those hospital bags packed now as I was not ready)

She's perfect and didn't even need a visit to NICU ❤️❤️

Came to join in the birth announcements. My little girl Elara was born on May 21st 🥰 we are currently a tiny 5ib 6 and drowning in most of our clothes 🤣

Awwww congratulations @NatalieSF🥰 were in the same with our clothes my little one was 5lb 8.

I have been diagnosed ICP too but my levels are currently low enough that they’re considering a 38 week indiction. 34 weeks tomorrow so let’s hope she stays put because I am not ready!

Awww thats mad @EllieWalesmine was all over the place my first test was 168 when I was 34 weeks and I got admitted to hospital and they told me to prepare to be induced at 35 weeks. Then they tested again it had dropped to 73 so while still high it was low enough to wait to be induced around 37 weeks so i went home. I then had what I thought was braxton hicks and aomw bleeding but they got painful and more regular so went to triage they checked my bloods thre again and said the bile was at 146 again so I got admitted to be induced ASAP but turns out she had other ideas and those braxton hicks were actually real labour 🤣🩷

Oh my gosh @Lh4503 what a whirlwind couple weeks you’ve had! Has the itchiness settled since she’s been born? I’ve heard it stops straight away and hoping that to be the case because it’s driving me mad I feel like my skin is crawling all over. How is baby girl doing? Are you home yet? I bet your eldest is super excited about her baby sister

@EllieWalesI feel your pain. I was really struggling with the itchiness nothing helped. I was still a bit itchy the day after I had her but then it stopped and my bile levels dropped to 24 so im assuming they will check again at my 6 week apt.
Baby girl is doing good 🙂 she's had some jaundice so has been in and out of hospital under blue light therapy but that's completel now. They also did a hip check and said she has hip dispraxia apparently it's where the joint hasn't developed enough so can dislocate easily. So we have to have a scan and she will probably be in a brace for a few weeks while she grows and it corrects. So yeah it's not been straight forward but shes fab im so in love 🥰 yes big sis is all over her, wants to hold her and do her nappies and bathe her 😊 it's very cute. We are back home now too 🙂.
