Morning girls, that’s it really, looking for 2WW buddies to get through the longest part of the ttc cycles !
I’m 1DPO, cycle 8 for a first baby 🤞🏼

@EllieWalesYes she came to the scan with us and seen the baby on the screen too which was lovely 💕 she said she wanted a boy but I dont think she minds either way, she keeps coming up to my tummy saying "aww baby sissy" and wants to go shopping now 🤣 so I'll let he pick iut some bits for her. Awww they told me my placenta is anterior this time I was like nooo! But im not sure how bad because I can feel prodding and rolling haha do thats good 😊 glad your doing well!

Aww how lovely @Lh4503 I can’t wait to know what we’re having so we can start thinking about names and buying some bits. I feel like I can’t until we know what it is!

@bigbaggyblue how are you getting on?

Awww isn’t it amazing when you can actually feel somebody in there, and you know the genders 🥰 so special! Glad you are both doing well! My nausea has definitely eased, hopefully stop taking the medication in the next week or so and I might have some energy back, also got the 12 week scan on the 29th so excited for that 😁!

@EllieWalesare you going to find out early or wait until your 20 week scan? 😊 Same here I bought mlnotbing until I knew her gender haha

Hi both sorry I don’t get notifications for this and haven’t been on in a while! Hope you’re both doing well?

I’ve had horrendous dizziness and breathlessness due to low blood pressure this pregnancy and it’s wiping me out 😩 I’m going to wait for the 20 week scan which is booked in for 23rd Feb, I’m tempted to book a private scan in the meantime but it’s not too long to go so I’ll hold out 😊

How did your 12 week scan go @bigbaggyblue??

@EllieWalesgosh that sounds tough, dizziness is a awful feeling, is there anything that helps?
12 week scan was this morning and all is just right, infact they moved me my EDD forward 5 days so now 5th Aug.

I feel ok if I’m lying down and eating 🤣 just trying not to move around too quickly etc but there’s nothing they can do it’s just one of those things!

Yeah absolutely finding out the gender can’t be wait now but 19th March feels a long way away!

Yes waiting for a 12 week scan and then a 20 week scan feels like forever. The time between the two is soo long especially if you dont feel movement yet. I had an 8 week and a 16 week with my daughter and this one because it calmed me a bit and made the waiting a bit easier. Got my 20 week scan a week Monday 😳 20 weeks has gone pretty fast

@Lh4503 how did the 20 week scan go today? I have mine in 2 weeks and can’t wait. I had been having some flutters which seem to have stopped and it’s stressing me out!

Awww it's annoying when they just stop i had a day or so where she moved less and I felt stressed too. Apparently its quite early for them to be consistent though so I wouldn't worry about it. Depends on baby's position. I've been having proper kicks the last few days, so much shes made me jump 🤣 I bet you can't wait for your scan now!!

Aww how lovely @Lh4503 so nice to see them and feel them! I never thought I’d be hoping for baby to kick like mad but I could do with a few for a bit of reassurance 😂 the midwife says there’s no real pattern until 24-28 weeks so could be a while until I feel baby regularly. I’m super excited/nervous I nearly booked a private scan because I couldn’t wait but they don’t have availability until mid next week anyway so I didn’t bother

@EllieWalesabsolutely, it definitely reassures you hopefully it won't be too long and you'll feel it! 😊 It is so exciting! Are you finding out the sex at the 20 week scan? What date is it?

@Lh4503 had my 20 week scan on Monday gone and all is ok with baby. We’d hoped to find out the gender but baby’s foot was in the way 🤣 it was curled up like a little ball! I go back in a couple weeks for another scan because they couldn’t check everything with baby in that position so hoping to find out then. How are you getting on? You must be nearing visibility now? That feels like such a milestone for me

@EllieWalesawww no way, all because of a little foot haha! Well I suppose you get another scan but this would have tested my patience after waiting! My 20 week scan is 3 weeks today! I’m definitely soooo much better, no nausea just the odd random retching on a morning 😂, still shattered but not complaining in comparison to how I felt in December/Jan! Have either you got chatting to any other mums from here? I’m on a WhatsApp group and it’s wild, if I don’t check for 3 days there’s 400 messages to catch up on 😂

@EllieWalesawwww thats just typical isnt it 🤣 these naughty babies. Hopefully next time baby will be more cooperative! Lol Yeah im good, struggling a bit with round ligament pain (i think thats what it must be) be it's ok ill survive. I'm 22 weeks now so yes getting closer to viability which is such a relief. She's extremely active and very strong bless her ❤️ Have you felt much more movement recently?

@bigbaggyblueaww glad your feeling much better, feeling sick is the worst. I bet you cant wait for your scan now either. I'm only on this thread, i did join a July 26 baby Facebook group but people were saying things that was causing me anxiety about loss so I came off it.

@bigbaggyblue glad you’re feeling better and not long to go until 20 weeks how exciting, have you got a feeing whether it’s a girl or boy?
I think we’re having a boy but my partner is convinced it’s a girl, hoping we do get to find out in the next scan otherwise maybe it was just meant to be a surprise 🤷🏼‍♀️

@Lh4503 oh no I hate round ligament pain I get it if I’ve been standing too long and with sudden movement like a sneeze or cough, I hope it settles for you soon! I’m feeling much more in the past 2 weeks and even felt baby kick from the outside last night 🥺 baby went hiding as soon as my partner tried feeling them though 😂

Well my daughter has said since day one “my baby sister”…. She’s never once said brother, I mean I don’t think she knows the difference but anyway 😅 my skin is spotty which it wasn’t in my first pregnancy so maybe boy! Who knows!

@EllieWalesawwww that's so lush 😊 starts fo feel real once you feel them move doesn't it! Yeah I sit down a lot at work and when I stand up it really hurts, but yes sneezing and coughing is not fun right now.

@bigbaggyblueI think it was around 16 weeks but it felt like bubbling so I wasn't too sure if it was wind or baby but now I think it was her as it turned to little kicks. You feeling anything yet?

@Lh4503 it’s so hard to tell isn’t it. I’ve only really paid attention when in bed and I think I felt something last night but very faint

@bigbaggyblue I started to feel bubbles or like a weird wave type sensation around 16 weeks but it was very minimal until around 19 weeks when I started to feel more kicks. I’m 21 weeks now and lying awake at 5am while baby has a party in my belly 🤣 I have an anterior placenta
