Morning girls, that’s it really, looking for 2WW buddies to get through the longest part of the ttc cycles !
I’m 1DPO, cycle 8 for a first baby 🤞🏼

@MegLSweve got a 2 year old and this is cycle 2. Id certainly enquire about what tests they can offer, I always think it’s got to be better to do it sooner than waiting until 12 months 😊

Aww sorry @MegLS have you managed to get booked in with the doctor? It’s worth knowing either way and there are treatment options you can try if needed. I would exaggerate and say you’ve been TTC for 12 months so they don’t shrug you off! Have you always had spotting in between periods?

Well I’m 7dpo and no symptoms of anything really although noticed when my daughter was breastfeeding at 6am I couldn’t hear her getting any milk which I think is normal for me before period comes (due in 8 days) so not feeling overly optimistic….

@bigbaggyblue @EllieWales Thank you both, I haven’t managed to get an appointment booked yet - it’s a bit of a lottery with our local GP unfortunately! Going to keep trying and will definitely say it’s been a year so I can push for tests. I’ve always had relatively long periods at around a week with maybe a day or two of spotting before, but it seems only since we’ve been trying that it’s been starting so early (around 6dpo). So frustrating!

Morning all @MegLSabsolutely tell them it's been a year, hopefully you'll get in soon and they will get lots of tests organised to put your mind at rest.

@bigbaggybluesorry your not feeling optimistic this month, but your not out until your out, cycles are unpredictable and ive learnt that no symptoms or changes each cycle confirm anything 🙈

Thanks for asking @MegLSI cried before, during and after my scan but all good, seen baby and a very strong heartbeat 💓 I just can't believe it, im so emotional abd feeling like it's a dream atm. Measuring at 8 weeks as expected. 🙂

About a week away from when my period is due now, slightly unpredictable as my cycles were randomly longer for a few months recently. Finding it hard to keep my mind off it, don't really want to test early as the early twsts are so expensive I don't really want to get in the habit in case it takes a long time to happen.

@LoopyLeelawe are very similar, mine is due in 8 days. I know what you mean, how many cycles are you in trying? I bought easy at home this time and just going to use them from Tuesday onwards, I won’t be able to wait much longer im hopeless 😂

We have technically been trying for 3 months now, however the past 2 before this were a bit of a write off, as I mistimed ovulation (which i only realised when my period came much later than usual) - this happened for a few months due to taking folic acid (it can cause this in some women) and then last month I was really ill with a virus for a couple.of weeks so we didn't get to try much, and having fevers probably meant i wasn't super fertile. So this is kind of the first month of trying properly and things going smoothly haha. What about.you? It would also be our first baby if we conceive too 🤞
I think i will probably wait until my period is late to test, I've managed to do so the past couple of months.

@LoopyLeelaoh I never knew that about folic acid, I’m part way through a four month course. Oh that’s exciting then to be your first month where you feel a bit more confident. And your willpower is much better than me 😂 this second cycle for baby number 2, I’ve got a daughter who’s 2.5 ☺️. Fingers crossed we both get that BFP asap ☺️

Took a few months off these threads after a chemical in June, but so happy to see some updates that people got their BFP!

……can it be!???!!!!! I didn’t dip above the max line and checked at 3 mins! What are the chances of this being an indent or evap whatever they call them! Can I get excited?!

Omg @bigbaggyblue The line looks a good thickness and has some colour to it so it looks like a BFP to me especially if it appeared within the time frame! How exciting! Will you test again in the morning to confirm?

@EllieWalesabsolutely yeah, I’m going to go get a digital today for morning 🤞🏼 until I see a better line or a positive digital tomorrow I’m tying not to let myself get too excited! I won’t be telling my partner until I’m sure 😅

I’ve bought a clearblue ultra early for morning but I couldn’t wait that long so tested with another easy at home this evening and got another line
