I can't quite believe it but after a while year we only went and filled the last thread.

I'll tag you all below so that you can find me!

Thought you guys might appreciate my obsessive data tracking - definitely caught pre ovulation this month for TTC…

@MocktailMe I don't think I'll be using them again, they don't seem that reliable. I was so worried they were giving me false hope.

@CharLdn yes I am still in shock 😂 I don't have any symptoms yet so it's hard to believe it's real.

@Tater05 also re the tests - my easy at homes didn’t go positive till day 14 - so I think they’re definitely less sensitive.

I find it so funny how getting pregnant feels like wildly BREAKING NEWS when you’ve been actively trying for so long 😂

It is breaking news! I also couldn't believe when I saw a faint line after staring at stark whites for months.
I actually found easy at homes very accurate, and never had indents there. I got my first shade of the line at 9DPO (was stark white at 10DPO), confirmed later the same day with digitals like yours @Tater05 .
I personally was obsessed testing with easy at homes daily until like 25DPO 🙈, I know it is crazy, but I wanted to make sure the line is still there and is progressing well. I quite liked the digital clear blue showing the weeks too, though it changed to 2-3 and then to 3+ way quicker than once a week!

*meant to say was still stark white at 8DPO

Id still be tracking (because of course I would 😂) but I'll use one step next time as I think they were much better for actually showing the line changes personally versus the easy at home. Plus weekly digital with weeks - although I didn't like the news they gave me the fact that my 2-3 weeks took longer than expected was an early sign that I needed to stay cautious. I do trust them as tests go even though it was hard to see!

I bet your symptoms will be kicking in any day now - I was feeling and being sick by 20dpo although you may get some pleasanter ones but I bet they won't be long now! It's such a strange feeling like it's written on your face even tho no one else knows!!!

I'm only cycle day 5 right now so we will be gearing up to try soon, I'll be tracking my CM again (still faint traces of blood from period currently so I'm not there just yet!). We are going to throw the whole kitchen sink at it again this month because why not, I'm not expecting to hear from the IVF clinic for at least 3-4 weeks at this stage. I correctly identified my EWCM these last two cycles, and my three cycles post surgery have been 34 days, 28 days and 30 days which is all normal healthy and quite short and predictable - so I'm hoping for same again and ovulation somewhere around CD14-18! Praying this month might just be our month...come on right ovary!

Awwww congrats @Tater05, like @lavafield I also found easy at homes good for looking at progression although every day it was abit confusing so would stick with every other if you can to track ‘progression’. I found the boots one in your picture great also for the initial confirmation as there was no squinting needed. I used the clear blue weekly but, there is a lot of women who report they never get 3+ despite having a healthy baby 9 months on so I would maybe not rely too heavily on them beyond 2-3 if your prone to get anxious over that kind of thing.

I think having a plan for IVF is wonderful @MocktailMe. The sadness of AF period is horrendous but I hope your coming back into the hopeful period now your coming towards tracking for ovulation.

Hi ladies, can I join please? Been off these forums for a while. Have been ttc for years, 4 failed IVF rounds etc.

Did a test this morning as opk is positive and I should have ovulated 2 weeks ago. I got this. Could this be a vvvv faint bfp or is it a nasty indent? Came up within 3 minutes but not sure it has colour in the line? Any thoughts appreciated!

@CharLdn I know what you mean, it's not like we weren't hoping for this to happen and yet it still comes as a shock 😂but on the flip side I think I would have been less shocked if it had happened in the first few months.

@MocktailMe I'm just sitting tight waiting for this symptoms to hit. Trying to get as much work done as possible before that because I signed myself up for quite a lot as a distraction from TTC 😅Those are good regular cycles! I'll be rooting for your right ovary to do its job.
I don't want to be that person who says 'have you tried this' because I know how annoying that is after so long, BUT this cycle I tried the cough medicine trick for increasing CM. I already got EWCM with every cycle but it increased it even more and I don't want to say it was definitely that that helped me conceive but after 17 months of nothing to trying this and it works... I think there could be something in it.

@AlleycatMarie welcome! So sorry to hear you've been going through this for so long. If it's come up within the window then that's promising, do you have any other brands you can test with? The Boots early tests seem to be good if you can get one. Fingers are crossed for you!!

@KTB34 can't believe you're already 34 weeks! I hope it's all going smoothly. Same to @KT199 and @lavafield!

@Tater05 thank you! It felt really promising as it came up within the three minutes and even dh could see a line! But I have done an IC and CB ultra early digital that were both negative, so think it’s just an awful indent line 😫

I actually became obsessive about line progression on easy at homes which kind of took the joy out of it so test as little or as much as you want - I think it’s ultimately just an anxious control thing.

If you do get worried you can always ask your gp for hcg tests but I’m not sure testing as much as I did was healthy and ultimately didn’t affect the outcome…

@CharLdn I agree on the testing. Thing is I know I'd still do it again because it was driven from such intense fear - but you're absolutely right it didn't change a thing and my absolute biggest fear of all (rupture) happened anyway. If you can be strong enough to resist I think that's definitely better, but being honest with you and myself I know I wouldn't be.

@KTB34 wow not long to go now at all that's amazing. Only 6 weeks or so to go now! Wishing you the best birth and happy last few weeks of pregnancy.

@AlleycatMarie it does look like a line to me but our @Waitingformiracle had a really nasty similar indent recently that was similar i think all you can do is retest with the same brand and see what happens. I hope it is for you.

@Tater05 I've not done the cough medicine thing but I honestly have loads of EWCM (all CM actually!) and have conceived before without doing that so I don't think that is my problem here - I think it's the tube(s) but it's possible my right ovary hasn't ovulated yet since I've been trying again post surgery so trying to stay positive. It definitely might be what worked for you though!

I am 26+2 now, so getting into my third trimester soon, baby growing as he should be.

@AlleycatMarie I remember you from some previous threads, wishing you strength in your journey. I know everyone is different but I know several women who got pregnant after many rounds of unsuccessful IVF cycles, some miraculously naturally after many years, others with repeated IVF.

On EWCM, I agree natural CM is the best indicator but I also used Preseed to top it up the cycle when I got pregnant, I don't know if it helped or not in the end

@MocktailMe i think you’re right and it was a nasty indent. I’m so angry that a brand as expensive as frer can have such bad indents! I’ve had them before with this brand, but this was on another level!

@CharLdn thanks for the welcome! Tested again today and bfn! No idea when I ovulated this month though due to a combination of things. I should have ovulated 2 weeks ago but got peak opk yesterday, so who knows?!

I had high hopes for you after the marathon you put in, but maybe your body just needs a little extra time after all it’s been through. I hope you’re doing ok. @AlleycatMarie I’m sorry about your indent, if you scroll up you can see how bad an indent I got recently from this brand. I won’t be using it again! @KT199 and @KTB34 so glad to hear all is going well and excited for you both to meet your babies ❤️

As for me, I am on CD 7 and have been on estrogen pills for my medicated transfer cycle. They don’t make me feel great and I’m also an emotional wreck! I go in for a lining scan next week and if all looks ok then my transfer will be about 5 days after that 🤞🤞 it’s very exciting but also terrifying!

@Waitingformiracle oh gosh yes I’ve just looked at your indent line. I’m so sorry. I agree that I’m never buying this brand again. I’m used to ident lines but I was so sure with this one I even showed dh which I’ve never done before. Mine also looked pink in real life.

@AlleycatMarie really sorry to hear that. I know so many swear by FRER but things like this mean it's not a brand I use generally, I think it's appalling as they're so expensive!
