I can't quite believe it but after a while year we only went and filled the last thread.

I'll tag you all below so that you can find me!

If anyone silently reading along wants to keep following - here's the place. If anyone wants to read the fertility journey for the last year have a look through the last thread.

@AlleycatMarie I'm so sorry it turned out to be a nasty indent, you'd hope a brand like frer would be more reputable than that.

@Waitingformiracle thank you! I'm sorry for your indent too, that was a particularly nasty one. But I'm so pleased for you to have transfer day on the horizon! How exciting!

Thanks @MocktailMe @Tater05 @AlleycatMarie it’s definitely exciting to be so close to transfer time (hopefully 🤞) I’ll be sure to keep you all posted. My scan next week can’t come quick enough. As we all know too well everything when it comes to fertility, testing and pregnancy is incredibly slow but I’m just trying to make the days go as quickly as possible

How is everyone doing today? AF is due tomorrow for me and BFN this morning. So onto the next cycle we go. I hope I ovulate earlier than cd26 this time

@Figtree11 I’m sorry about your BFN. I always find that once I know for sure that I haven’t been successful I can at least accept it and get excited for a new cycle. It’s the not knowing and false hope that always kills me. I hope the next cycle will be the one 🤞

@Waitingformiracle i agree, I find that I have a day of feeling sorry for myself, and then I can move on & trying to and feel positive for the next cycle. Thank you. I hope the days are going quickly ahead of next week for you

@Figtree11 Thank you. These transfer medicines are no joke, I’m feeling really awful on them but I am facing the prospect of weeks and possibly even months on them if the transfer is successful, so I guess I better strap in 🤣 I keep reminding myself that it will hopefully all be worth it

@Waitingformiracle i can imagine they don’t make you feel good! But it will 100% worth suffering so that hopefully this time next year you can look back at how far you’ve come

@Figtree11 I’m at the beginning of the first two week wait post miscarriage which feels weird. Agree uncertainty is the worst bit!

Hope your luteal phase hasn’t been too luteal and you can look forward to happy hormones soon ❤️

Guys is 5dpo too early to test… asking for a friend

@CharLdn Step away from the tests!! I would wait until at least 8 DPO ❤️ although I won’t lie, I have done it many times 🤣

@Waitingformiracle I knoooooow but I’m feeling particularly impatient this TWW…

At the moment I’m keeping an eye on my temperature as last time that was quite the reliable indicator. I should be around 14dpo next weds so will know then 🤞

Thanks @CharLdn im on day 2 of AF and feeling ok. I guess I’ve made peace with AF being here & not yet in the stress of ovulation testing!
I would wait for around 10dpo personally, but I hate wondering if I can see a shadow etc. You won’t see anything yet at 5/6 dpo. Fingers crossed for you for next week

8 definitely isn't 👀 which isn't long now!!!

I'm CD 11 and already have had some EWCM which is strange. We've tried anyway so if this is ovulation we have at least hit the window but I feel like I'll probably have it a few more days and actually ovulate in a few days. Still, unless it's a failed ov attempt seems like a shorter cycle ahead this month 🤔

I think knowing we are just waiting for our first appointment at the IVF clinic now is making this a little easier than usual. It doesn't feel as be all or end all as it usually does - yet!!!!

Sorry hear hear AF came @Figtree11 it is just the worst time of the month. Let's hope August brings better news xxx

@CharLdn I totally get it. The one time I got pregnant I started testing 7 DPO and I thought maybe I saw something but then I was like nah and chucked it away and by 8DPO I was pretty convinced I could see something which then was a definite line by 9DPO. You are so close 🤞 I also have absolutely no chill when it comes to testing and I’ve already ordered a bunch of various brands of tests off Amazon in preparation for my FET 🤣🤣

@MocktailMe I think it’s always good to try whenever you see the EWCM, for me I definitely notice it a few days before actual ovulation. I completely understand that feeling of relief of at least having your ivf appointment booked, it feels like a step in the right direction and I hope you don’t need to and up availing of it but at least if you do then things are moving!

@MocktailMe I definitely felt huge relief when we were on the IVF road as it feels like having a plan in place for the bigger picture takes the sting out of the day to day rollercoaster. 🎢

Definitely go with your CM - I think it’s more accurate than LH tests especially if ovulation varies.

I’m waiting till next Monday/Tuesday to test as Thats a solid 12 DPO and I didn’t test positive till 14 DPO last time.

I’ve obviously started symptom spotting and have had vivid dreams last night and feel tired and sick today but honestly my anxiety is high at the moment so I think it’s just that.

@Waitingformiracle re tests

• first response were most sensitive but as we know - they can have strong Evap lines
• Boots - cheap strip tests were actually more sensitive than easy @home
• Easy at home - good value but I was OBSESSIVE about line tracking which didn’t help.

I want to order more first response tests but I spent about 50 quid on tests last month so think I should not.

My new mantra is trust the process and will it affect the outcome?

@Figtree11 what helps me during AF is doing things I definitely do pregnant like drinking, hot baths, eating sushi/charcuterie cheese etc.

Hanging out with childfree friends.

Plus above all self compassion (much easier said than done) as this journey isn’t easy and the horrors persist but so do we ❤️

@CharLdn yeah I’m a bit traumatised from my experience of the first response tests although when they work they really do work, if you get me. I’ve got a few of them together with some easy @ home and also some cheap early strip ones that I actually used the time I was pregnant and they were super sensitive. Honestly have about 100 tests now in the post 🤣🤣 but I know that I’ll be obsessively testing early. My embryo is a day 5 embryo so I’m thinking I’ll test 4/5 days post transfer as that will be like 9/10 DPO.

I'm sorry your anxiety is high at the moment, it’s a horrible feeling. This whole process can be so stressful and anxiety inducing so we just have to take care of ourselves. You’re right though trust the process, early testing doesn’t make us any more or less pregnant, our bodies will do what they do. I think waiting until 12 DPO is a solid plan!

@Waitingformiracle i felt really odd yesterday - sick and tired so cracked and tested and you’ll all be shocked to hear it was negative…

I feel like in this whole journey time just goes SO slowly.

It will be interesting to see regardless how my cycle settles post miscarriage and my doctor said to wait this month to try so if I’m not preggo I’m hopefully going to feel OK.

Do you know when your transfer is yet?

OK we definitely have an indent line here… not that I’m getting attached to the outcome…

Spoke far too soon as got period so definitely an Evap - I’m actually happy just to get clarity on where I am and it’s exactly 26 days post miscarriage so that’s good

@CharLdn I’ve taken your advise and I’ve booked in for a facial on Friday ☺️ a little treat to make myself feel better.
I’m sorry that you had that evap, I could see the line on there. It’s not good that they do that! But I’m glad you weren’t waiting long for AF. And really good that it’s come back so quickly, I’ve waited 10 weeks once before for mine to return

@CharLdn I’m sorry 😔 it’s suck a head f**k!! It’s good to know your body is getting back on track, but still very difficult getting your period after a loss. Mind yourself!

Sorry char, I hate those tests not only are the evaps terrible but even with HCG of well over 1 thousand on bloods the line was still questionable!

The first period after loss I found really hard and I hope you are okay. Here to talk if you need it.

I'm currently CD14 and all signs point to me having ovulated likely last night but I'm not 100% sure, we will make sure we cover a few more days incase my body has had a failed attempt, as this is a little early for me, but certainly not unheard of!

@MocktailMe thank you tbh it’s been harder mentally than I expected. I was actually relieved not to be pregnant but then I’ve had to decline a baby shower today - because I just can’t face it.

I know it’s not helpful to compare but seeing others kids grow and pregnancies progress just makes me feel so stuck in fertility ground hog day.

Good you’ve spotted ovulation ❤️ weird how our bodies change so much! Always so much to learn!
