Omg @KTB34 any day now! Looking forward to seeing the update of his arrival and I hope it all goes as smoothly as possible!
@MocktailMe I can’t believe that with the clinic! Well actually I can, you’re right in that anything not a life or death situation they seem to mess up. I’m so grateful we have the NHS but I’ve come to expect these f* ups from them. So frustrating though, it's a good thing you phoned early so I hope they can get the ball rolling again. I still haven’t heard a peep from my referral that they sent off in February so if I hadn’t fallen pregnant I’d be going private now, probably still would if this doesn’t hold. Hopefully you hear from the clinic soon.
@CharLdn I had a few months where I had to ban myself from any research and I never listened to a fertility podcast because I know I would have gone too obsessive. It’s so hard not to, but like you say there are ups and downs. The month leading up to conceiving was by far the worst for me, I was so obsessive and just felt so desperate for something to happen it really dragged me down. That inkling of hope is what keeps us all going.
@Waitingformiracle Sorry the nausea’s been bad but it is a reassuring sign. Fingers crossed for the scan, how many weeks will you be on Thursday?
I'm 9 weeks now, mainly just had food aversions rather than nausea (sorry @Waitingformiracle!) but the exhaustion is hitting hard. I have my first midwife appointment on Friday so hopefully they'll book my 12 week scan after that, then I'll be counting down the days. It was reassuring having the early scan but I hate not knowing what's been going on in there since!
