I can't quite believe it but after a while year we only went and filled the last thread.

I'll tag you all below so that you can find me!

If anyone silently reading along wants to keep following - here's the place. If anyone wants to read the fertility journey for the last year have a look through the last thread.

@CharLdn I completely understand that, I really struggle with things like baby showers and also just social gatherings in general these days. It’s so hard to see everyone else being where you long to be!

@MocktailMe great that you’ve pinpointed O day! Sounds like you’ve covered your bases. CD13 is still a perfectly acceptable ovulation day so nothing to worry about.

As for me my transfer is confirmed for Thursday! I can’t believe it. Excited and terrified. I will either be the happiest person ever or in the depths of despair following the result. My beta is booked for August 18th but I will 100% be testing at home before that 🤣

Hope your doing okay @CharLdn the emotional toll of a loss isn’t discussed widely enough.

@MocktailMe least you’ve got all angles covered even if it is abit earlier than usual.

@CharLdn totally get it. I had my first in May since January and it was just such a horrible stark reminder that I was back to TTC again and such an awful feeling of being through all this trauma only to end up exactly where I started, but more damaged (physically and mentally). Be kind to yourself and turn down any invites that don't serve you right now.

@Waitingformiracle this is the amazing news I've been waiting to hear! I will be thinking of you on Thursday! How are you going to tackle these next few days, keeping busy or relaxing?

@CharLdn completely fair to decline the baby shower, any social gathering brings up reminders of TTC groundhog day (love that way of describing it btw, it's so true 😬😅) and sometimes you just have to put yourself first. Sorry your period came, especially with that nasty evap. Look after yourself and do what you need to do, and hopefully your time will come again soon 🤞🏼🤞🏼

I am trying to keep busy but also keep chilled lol, I have the week off work which couldn’t be better timing because I’ll hopefully be stress free (at least free from work stress) going into it. I’m going to do a spa day and massage on Wednesday and then I have acupuncture booked for the morning of the transfer which is supposed to help. I’ve a wedding tomorrow too which will be a good distraction although I won’t be drinking of course. My husband and I have agreed on a testing day of 6 days post-transfer (which is like 11DPO) which happens to be our anniversary 🤍🤞I’m hoping it’s a good sign

I don't think you could have timed that any better, a day out a wedding is a great distraction and should be fun, the spa days sounds absolutely ideal - hopefully might be the last time you can go in a hot tub etc for a while so you'll really appreciate it!

Acupuncture also sounds like a great idea for the morning of. You've got a brilliant structure here and keeping your mind and body so well cared for will be ideal no matter how this cycle ends up.

I'm not sure but I am CD16. We had daily sex or AI CD10-15 and I don't have EWCM any more but I am still really wet down there but it's white again so I think I'm maybe 2 DPO or so I'm just not sure!

I'm going to keep up tracking my CM, providing I don't get another wave of EWCM I think I'll be happy assuming CD14 was ovulation!

Really hope this cycle will be the one but who knows!!!

Thank you so much @MocktailMe @KT199!! Our appointment is at noon. Going for acupuncture before and then into the clinic. Feels very surreal, but I feel very calm and I know I have done everything in my power. I will keep you posted!

You have done everything right - now it's out of your hands. I imagine that's scary but maybe a bit of a relief to hand it over mentally.

I'm alright, just plodding along in the first half of the two week wait. I think we will be testing around the same time this cycle.

@MocktailMe oh great I’ll be glad to be in the TWW with you! Transfer is all done, so I am officially pregnant until proven otherwise (or PUPO as they say 🤣). It went very well, they said the embryo was already starting to expand again and had thawed well. Now the wait begins!

Well done!! Absolutely, pregnant until proven otherwise - and legally, I believe for two weeks after transfer! I'm so pleased it went well for you, do you have any pain now from the transfer or is it actually quite neutral??

@MocktailMe no pain at all really. A little bit crampy but that could also just be the progesterone. The transfer itself was uncomfortable but definitely not the worst I’ve experienced. It’s pretty cool you can actually see the embryo going in on the ultrasound and they give you a little picture after ☺️

I am feeling good post-procedure, it was pretty quick and painless. Just need to try and not lose my mind now until it’s time to test 🙃

@Waitingformiracle I’m good embarking on another fertile window 🎉 we’re going to try and go every other day from days 9 to 22 or at least two days post temperature raise to really cover our bases.

We’re still technically within 3 cycles post hycosy/one cycle post miscarriage so there are rumours of increased chances.

I’m trying to be patient and remember it’s a marathon not a sprint.

@CharLdn that sounds like a solid plan and you’ll definitely cover all bases that way! Fingers crossed you can benefit off some increased fertility 🤞🤞

@Waitingformiracle try and keep yourself busy if you can so you’re distracted lol

Days 9-22 is so solid and means you definitely won't miss ovulation!

I'm CD22 now and if this cycle isn't the one I'm considering going back to the old OPKs in future - I really really hate using them as get too obsessive about it, but equally I wish I knew exactly how many DPO I was now. I KNOW all the reasons for not using them when you already cover the whole window like me but right now I wish I just knew for sure 😂 can't win!
