Thanks @VanessaShanessaJenkins99 I took my first tablet in the EPAU yesterday morning at 9am. I've to eat something and take pain relief at 8am and then take four more tablets at 9am and another four tablets on Sunday at 9am. I've stocked up on pads, disposable knickers, pain relief and chocolate 😂 let's see how it goes!x

Hi @GrizzlyTheBear it seems to be over? I took the tablets at 9am and bleeding started at 10:45am. I kept on top of pain relief and used heat packs but it was all fairly manageable? Manageable to the point that I'm wondering it everything has passed? I've to take more tablets tomorrow which the doctor advised to take even if I bled to make sure everything is gone so maybe there will be more tomorrow 🤷🏻‍♀️

Oh gosh @SureLook I hope that's it. Maybe there just wasn't too much to pass? Definitely worth taking the other tablets to make sure though. How are you doing emotionally?

I'm fine, no change really. Still over two weeks until scan but I have this gut feeling it will be bad news. Will have to wait and see.

@GrizzlyTheBear hopefully that's it. I'm assuming there's less to pass since there isn't an embryo or a yolk sac but I'm just guessing.
I was very nervous yesterday morning before I took the tablets but once I took them I calmed down. So far I'm feeling ok but I'm sure all crash is coming 🫠

@GrizzlyTheBear yup id say so. The only symptom I still have (mostly in the evening) is excessive saliva lol which is so weird. But no real nausea anymore which is odd considering it was so bad between 6-7.5 weeks. But I’m super super bloated but again that hasn’t meant anything in my past MMC.

I’m really trying to stay positive - I had a bad feeling before my last scan and got good news so I’m trying to not let the negative thoughts creep in! 🤣🥲

@SureLook I’m glad it was ok for you! What are your next steps? Will you have a scan to check or will you test in 2 weeks and hope for it to be negative? Xx

@HopefulCove it's so hard not to let the intrusive thoughts in! All we can do is think positively and keep the faith 🤞🏻

I've the last dose of the tablets to take tomorrow morning at 9am so hopefully that will be it. Then they said to test negative within three weeks. They said two weeks with the D&C so it must be different. They gave me a test and told me to wait the three weeks but I've ordered IC so I can see if it's at least decreasing before then.

The plan after that is to spoil myself. A spa day, brunch with the gals, a medium rare steak 😂😂

Oh okay, I feel like you did the right thing by taking the medication! Yes sounds like a fantastic plan. Also, you’re now more likely to have a summer baby 👶☀️ so take the small wins haha!

That is true! Jan/Feb is a terrible time for a birthday!

@HopefulCove I hope the change in symptoms doesn't mean anything... there are so many conflicting stories on this aren't there, and every pregnancy is individual.

@HopefulCove yeah, I'm happy I took the tablets now. So far anyway, assuming it's all gone! Yeah a summer baby is nice. I really struggled with the dark evenings on DD.

I suddenly became absolutely exhausted last night at about 6:30pm. I could not keep my eyes open. Ended up going to bed at 7pm and slept until 7am this morning. I suppose the adrenaline of the last few days wore off 🤷🏻‍♀️

I think it really takes it's toll, mentally and physically. You get told bad news at the scan, but you can't properly grieve until the MC is over, and the physical side of things is still looming over you. Then you just concentrate on the actual MC for a bit. Then it's over and all gone and it all kind of hits you? A bit like people in high stress jobs who get sick as soon as they go on holiday.
I hope the sleep really helped and you can focus on some you-time and start healing ❤️

@GrizzlyTheBear I think that's exactly it. Once it's over it's kinda like now what? Just have to focus on healing and recovery now x

Hey - i was just thinking about you all! Yeah all fine with me - I had a few wobbly moments last week - Thursday should have been my booking in appointment so i felt a bit sad that afternoon and then Saturday should have been our scan! We were going to tell our parents this weekend but alas here we are! Im tracking ovulation just to see when it arrives and so i know when to expect my period but so far nothing :/ i have no idea how long it will take -
How are you doing? I bet the scan still seems an age away! xx

@VanessaShanessaJenkins99 have you still not ovulated post MC then? How long since you got a negative pregnancy test?

I'm fine thanks, sickness wearing off a bit now at 11 weeks. Scan is nearly 13 weeks so still ages unfortunately.

Milestones are hard aren't they. My MMC baby was due a few weeks ago and it was a tough day. I couldn't help looking at the kids and thinking they should be meeting their wee sibling now. I feel like they've been cheated of someone they should have known.

So i tested negative on Tuesday the 17th of June - I usually ovulate on cycle day 20 - and it was 21 days ago that i started bleeding with my miscarriage so do i count that as CD1 or does it not work like that? I have no idea :/.

I am hoping now that there arent any milestones that i will be alright - apart from like you say the due date - that date will always be etched on my mind and i 100% agree that it feels like my son has missed out on whoever this baby would have been!

I remember looking that up when I had the MMC and apparently it's the first day of heavy bleeding/clots that counts as CD1. So maybe you aren't actually that overdue to ovulate? I think it's normal for it to take a week or so longer than usual after an MC anyway, even if there are no problems like infection. There doesn't seem to be loads of research on this stuff unfortunately.

Ah ok - so the 12th was my first day of proper bleeding so in theory im day 21 today - so fingers crossed within the next week i will ovulate - my ovulation tests have been the same strength for days which to be honest is the norm - they stay the same and then boom super dark lol.

@GrizzlyTheBear hello! I'm not too bad, thanks. I've minimal bleeding and virtually no pain since Sunday. I met a friend today in a shopping centre and I did get sore after a few hours of walking around so I suppose I need to mind myself a bit. Back at home with the feet up and a cup of tea!

I tested yesterday morning just to have a baseline and it was still a fairly strong positive so I won't be testing for LH for another while!

Milestones are hard aren't they @GrizzlyTheBear & @VanessaShanessaJenkins99 I should have been heavily pregnant with my MMC baby by now but instead I'm going through my second loss! I know my due date in August will be rough.

Also I’m with all of you on the MMC loss. My baby was due a couple of weeks back, I didn’t think about it often with my first, but I do mourn the due date quite a lot with the most recent one.
@SureLook have you had much more bleeding? When are you next due to test?

My scan's in a week. I don't have any symptoms any more which is scary, but I guess I'm 11.5 weeks now so that might be okay. Did your symptoms ever come back?
