Oh my word I am so so sorry to read this :( Do what ever you need to do - I was the same with my MMC - i didnt want to wait the 2 weeks when we all knew what had happened! I went to the EPU that same week and started the ball rolling. Sending lots of love and support xx

@SureLook I'm so very sorry 😞 It's so awful when this happens. And you were feeling sick and tired weren't you, so that lures you into a false sense of security and makes it even harder.
I know we don't know each other at all, but I really do feel so sad for you. Sending all my love ❤️

I think i am losing my baby :( - started with a pink tinge when i wiped yesterday and then last night it was a browny colour and then this morning its red, not masses of it but there were a few little clots - and i feel very period pain like - Sods law my husband went away yesterday so its just me and my toddler!

@VanessaShanessaJenkins99 I know our immediate thought would be the worst here but many people experience bleeding and everything turns out ok so try to keep that in mind. Can you get to the EPAU?

Thank you xx i spoke to the doctors yesterday and they have said to monitor it over the weekend, if the pain become unbearable then obviously call the EPU but failing that they will look at referring me for a scan next week to see what going on :/

Aw @VanessaShanessaJenkins99 that's really scary. What awful timing with your husband being away too 😔 When is he back? Hope you are taking care of yourself - it's so hard waiting to see what happens Xx

@VanessaShanessaJenkins99 sorry to hear that. I had some spotting as you might remember at 5+3 and I'm now convinced that that was things ending. But as @Clara202 said so many people have big bleeds and everything is fine!

Hes back Tuesday :/ - its just a waiting game isnt it - like so much for this whole first trimester! The doctor said that bleeding and period type cramps at this stage are so common. Im 7 weeks today, ill see what happens over the weekend and then go from there xx

I'm up and down. I've a GP appointment today to get signed off so at least that will be sorted. I just can't believe it's happening again!

You get so hung up on getting a positive test but it really is just the first hurdle isn’t it?
My friend was bleeding at 8 weeks for about 3 or 4 days, she’s 24 weeks now and everything is going fine so far thank goodness.

@VanessaShanessaJenkins99 oh Tues is ages away 😔 You are being very pragmatic about it all though, I admire you. At least the EPU have offered a scan next week so whatever happens you won't be in limbo too long hopefully.

@SureLook glad you are off work. Nothing worse than having to smile politely at colleagues when you are feeling rubbish. It's very unfair to lose two in a row - the odds of that must be very small. Do you have a date for another scan yet?

Ah really @Clara202 ? Thats good to hear! Ive been looking into it this morning and it seems to be quite common - I was on the online chat on the Babycentre app and she said that bleeding and period type pains are very very common around this point.
I feel like ive got to stay calm @GrizzlyTheBear as i have no choice - sods law that it literally happens the day he goes away.
Its so so sad @SureLook - im on my own in the office today so at least i dont have to make small talk with anyone! Being off work will be the best thing for you at the moment xx

@GrizzlyTheBear the private clinic offered me a follow up scan next week for free. But I'd rather link in with my maternity hospital cause that's where I'll end up anyway. I rang EPAU yesterday and they said to email the report and the doctor would look at it today or tomorrow and they'd give me a call. So I'm hoping to be scanned in the hospital rather than the private clinic to get the ball rolling.
I know, I thought that myself. What are the chances of two in a row??

@VanessaShanessaJenkins99 the girls in work are great and they were fantastic when I came back the last time. I'd just be too distracted and I work in a health care patient bases job so I have to be "on it" all day. I just wouldn't be able! I'm glad you're not having to put a brave face on either x

@VanessaShanessaJenkins99how are you feeling this morning? Has the bleeding subsided at all? I had a subchronic hematoma with my successful pregnancy and I can’t believe how much blood I lost! Baby was fine though and it eventually stopped at around 14 weeks!

Morning xx - I dont have any period type pain anymore, i do have a cracking headache though! - There is still blood, not much overnight but a blob on the pad - there have been maybe 3 clots? Not even clots but just thick ish bits but really quite small - I feel quite pragmatic about it - Im really busy this weekend so hopefully that will keep me occupied, so long as it dosent get any worse.
It will be 48 hours since i started bleeding :/ - if it is a miscarriage i have no idea how long they take!

@VanessaShanessaJenkins99oh I think that’s positive! With my SH I didn’t have any pain but just lots of blood. Is there anywhere you can get your HCG levels tested? 🙂 the reason the EPAU knew I wasn’t miscarrying was because my HCG was still so high.

Omg I’ve had the worst headache the past 2 days!!! And the only thing we can take is paracetamol which does nothing for me! 😩xx

Yeah I am the same with Paracetamol! Dosent even take the edge off!
Ive just been for a wee and I felt a few blobs fall out :/ I am going to wait until Monday - I am on my own all weekend with my son so i just want to ride it out - then Monday hes at nursery all day so i can drop him off and go the the EPU if need be :/

@VanessaShanessaJenkins99 it's so hard sorting stuff like this when you have a wee one hanging about isn't it. Monday does sound much better!

@GrizzlyTheBear yes! I went to my GP yesterday who signed me off sick from work. She was very sorry to hear what had happened. She agreed it was a better idea to get scanned at the EPAU rather than with the private clinic. She also said to ask them to refer me on for investigations and if they don't agree she'll refer me on privately. She's a great GP.
I also got a phone call this morning from the EPAU. I'm booked in on Thursday for a follow-up scan and we'll go from there.

@SureLookdo you still feel very much pregnant? Could you have been behind on your dates? I have seen some people go to scans & be told the pregnancy is likely not viable and the next scan something is there… not wanting to get your hopes up but always a chance of a miracle 🩷

@HopefulCove I still have sore boobs and I can feel the hard little ball in my stomach. But looking back on things, that strong first trimester tiredness seemed to stop around Sunday. I was falling asleep on the couch and going to bed early and then it stopped.
I'm fairly certain of dates since I was tracking ovulation. I was 7+2 at the scan and the sac was measuring 6+5 so it wasn't far off.
I know what you mean about a miracle. I think if there was a yolk sac I might have a bit more hope but there was literally nothing. Plus when I was out of the room using the bathroom the sonographer spoke to DP and said I'm sorry this is happening to you again. I'm pretty certain this is it!
