Hello everyone, room for one more? I think I will be in a bit of a different position to most of you from reading this thread. A bit of background, I am 36 and about to TTC for my first child. My partner has 2 beautiful children already (they live with us full time, long story). He had a vasectomy 7 years ago and last month, we got it reversed. I have waited a long time for this moment and to be in a position where I can finally saying we are TTC. I am happy & hopeful but also realistic that after a VR is can take some time for things to get back to normal for him.. so, I am I this for the long haul. I have been tracking my cycles the last few months, and using OPK to try and gage my own body in preparation.

Baby aspirin is the same as any other Aspirin but it's 75mg only. I am pretty sure this is the only difference. It's just a smaller dose. Otherwise, the standard Aspirin is 150mg per tablet. My sister is pharmasist - this is how I know 😊

Hi 👋🏻 heading over from March (not sure if I posted or lurked). Aunt Flo arrived today so cycle two begins now!

I totally had this worry, flo thinks my due date would be December 18th. I just essentially decided I didn't want to miss a month and we'd cope with any challenges as they arose!

Welcome to all newcomers/those who are coming over from March, always nice to have more people join the crazy train.

I'm CD14 today, ovulated CD15 last month but I haven't had a positive OPK yet! I'm kind of hoping it will come soon as we're away for the weekend and sharing a hotel room with my DD so won't be able to DTD on Friday or Saturday.

@2Sugars2 does he have to do any semen analysis as part of the reversal? Fingers crossed for you

@AlbatrossSociety yes - at the 3 mth mark he will need to do one. Although our GP doesn't seem forthcoming with it! The surgeon also said we can test at home from 6 weeks so we will be doing this as well with a kit.

Currently cd6, hoping to ovulate one day next week!

Morning everyone, CD 13 for me. Second day of flashing smiles on clear blue OPK! Can definitely feel ovulation coming, intense cramps on the ovaries, feel sicky etc. Going to DTD tonight and Saturday, also DTD Tuesday, then hopefully it’ll happen tomorrow so I’ll have caught it! Does that sound like a good amount of times to conceive? I’m gonna try my hardest to NOT test before 12/4, which would be 1 day late for period! But it’d hubbys bday on 10/4, so the urge to do an early test then for his birthday is REAL! 😂 How’s everyone else getting on?

Think I’ve ovulated and if so, managed O-4, O-1 and O+1. The day after ovulation is pretty low chance but I know you can’t determine exactly when ovulation was so who knows! Wanted to get more days but it is what it is, fingers crossed! Makes my period due 9th April. Now to try and relax and forget about it.. want to try not testing this month until it’s due 🙈

We’re due around the same time! I really hope we can both be strong and hold out on the testing 😂 have you got previous for testing early? 😂 I’m trying to remind myself that I always feel rubbish around ovulation and before my period. And I’m not going to symptom stop 😂

@Muddysocks1 @jelliebean9 i am due AF 7/4 so similar as well- i am not even going to kid myself that i will hold out testing as i never do so will probably start testing from next wednesday 8dpo 🙈 ive actually written a list on my phone last cycle of all the completely normal pre AF symptoms i get so i can read it back to myself when manically googling ‘ itchy right boob 3dpo’ 🤣

Morning everyone, hope it’s ok to join in 😊I am on cycle 5 ttc our first baby. 3dpo today, ovulation came earlier than usual this time so I’m hoping that’s a good sign. Going to start taking baby aspirin today, would love to know if anyone else has taken it and had any luck? Hope everyone else is getting on ok x

Natural cycles thought I'd ovulate today but still getting blank circles. I had a cold earlier this week so kind of hoping that's delayed things slightly but they'll still happen. Anyone know if delayed ovulation makes pregnancy less likely?

Jealous of those of you who are post ovulation even though I know the tww is a pain in the bum 😂

Yes I’ve been terrible! It’s so hard not to. Sometimes feel like I’m “doing” something which helps even though it’s a bit demoralising 🤣

Not that I know of, just makes it harder to decide when to rationally start testing 😂 and I find later cycles make me constantly think I’ve missed it and make me more anxious! So I hope that smiley comes for you soon! I’m still getting flashing ones, when without OPKs I’d definitely be saying right now with the symptoms that I’m ovulating! TTC is wild the way we overthink everything!

Nope. It’s still negative 😂😂 even if it’s definitely early 😂 why do we put ourselves through it! I’ve a feeling none of us are going to have the restraint to wait until period due date to test!

@PeaSar93 blank test is shit at any stage. I think I'd still feel a rush of disappointment if I did one now even though there's absolutely no way I could be pregnant.

@jelliebean9 I'm determined this month!!! Because I'm tracking bbt, I'll see a day or two before AF arrives. Early testing was just anxiety provoking for me a couple months ago so I reallllyy want to try and wait for bbt drop. AF not due until 13th April which feels like fucking forever away.

I just realllyyy hope I do ovulate this month and being sick hasn't thrown it off completely 🤞.

Morning all. Joining from the March thread. AF arrived on Tuesday. At first I thought it was implantation bleeding but it became clear as the day went on that it wasn't. I felt really sad as it was a stark reminder that I'm no longer pregnant after my MMC in January.

I think that’s why I’m so triggered by the negative test I’ve had today as I was pregnant 4 months ago. All I can advise is be super nice to yourself, buy yourself your favourite bottle of wine and focus on the opportunity of it being a new month. Sorry that’s shit advice but that’s what helped me x

@PeaSar93 sorry to hear you're going through similar. That is not shit advice at all. We actually have a night away booked in April and I text my partner saying at least I can drink and use the hot tub and sauna now 😂 silver lining and all that.

Honestly we've got to find the silver lining where we can and hot tub and sauna are definitely good ones!!

I know I said this already this month but the resilience and strength of women to just keep going through this journey really strikes me every month. Makes me proud to be part of this group xx

Just started bleeding 3-5 days after ovulation, did that last cycle as well but not this much and not until 6 DPO. Don’t know what’s going on 😔

Is there room for me please? ☺️ TTC no2 after miscarriage. Been following the thread for a week or so but not posted yet. I reckon I’m around 3DPO.

@AlbatrossSocietyi also ovulated late this month, around CD18. I’m putting it down to the flu I had in February.
