Welcome 🥰 I am so sorry to hear about your losses. Getting some testing done is definitely a good idea. Meanwhile, have you looked into baby aspirin?

I’ve been told about it but hesitant to try till I get the bloods done case it changes the results. Need one blood test next week then repeat in three months. After them results I’ll probably start If the clinic agrees me to.

@jelliebean9 Thank you for sharing that, very reassuring! I too feel I'd be lucky to get pregnant again and a healthy Xmas or NY baby would be better than no baby. Idea of a summer party is a good one too. We will leave it to fate and take our chances this cycle. Will start my OPKs from CD9.

Read this Japanese saying that babies come to us when they're ready, which was a nice thought.

Morning everyone. CD 11 here. I’m usually 26/27/28 days. Ovulate D12-14. I have EWCM but still getting blank circles on ovulation sticks and when I take them out holder, the line is really faint. Is it normal to have the fertile CM but no where near positive ovulation sticks?

You can still be fertile but not have an LH-peak, so now is the time to DTD because the sperm will stay alive a lot longer in that environment 🥰 You will probably see a smiley in the next few days! Test twice a day.

Which stick are you using, the one that does the flashing smiles as well?
I get 5+ days of ewcm so that’s normal for me to have really light lines on the test until the day I ovulate xx

Thank you! That’s really helpful to know. It’s the clear blue advanced digital ones! I’ve never done them before, so I was expecting to see the fertile smiley when the egg white CM showed up! I usually get about 5 days of it too, assuming I’ll ovulate later this month on Friday or Saturday!

Heya im just tracking my cycles but wanted some asvu e

usually i have a 32 day cycle (very regular) but last month i had a 30 cycle..ive been taking naitre vitamins and also fasting due to ramadan so maybe thats why my cycle is shorter, not sure AF took me completely by surprise as v little PMS symptoms

according to premom im ovulating tomorrow (see pic below) but i most definitely had a very obvious peak on thursday...just wondering how quick do vitamins adjust our cycles/ make it shorter?

Really worried now as i am tracking to try in may but im going away and really dont want to be on AF if period comes early..i also not really sure on the app predictions as well

You are right, best to wait if you are already in the process of testing. Sounds like a good plan 👌

MayaB · 25/03/2025 15:24

Update from me. Both husband and I seem to have either a bad flu or Covid. I wanted us to dtd once more last night but we both feel awful and exhausted. We did what we could this month but I doubt it anything has happened. I am now around day 2 post ovulation.

Wednesdayonline · 25/03/2025 15:51

@peanutForever it could be the vitamins, or the fasting, or it could just be a random shorter cycle for you. Don't trust the app, if you have had a peak (I'm assuming LH? Or temping?) and think you ovulated last Thursday, definitely trust that over the app. If you log the date you got the peak in the app, it will readjust it's calculations.

peanutForever · 25/03/2025 16:21

Yeah it was an LH peak and the app doesnt seem to have readjusted for some reason, maybe im missing something?

@MayaBhopefully you have still caught as youve dtd within the time frame!

@Panda101xgood luck for you! i took baby aspirin of my own accord and had a successful pregnancy but i would defo advise for you to have your bloods first- i really hope if something does crop up in your testing (where they can help with it) rather than nothing at all

Shellbells44 · 25/03/2025 20:04

Hi All, moved over from the March thread. I’m 6DPO and I swear I have just notified some implantation bleeding? I’ve been pregnant twice before and didn’t have it previously. But I was just shocked just now to see some when I went to the bathroom. Keeping my fingers and toes crossed for everyone xx

TheUniqueMember · 25/03/2025 22:51

It would have readjusted if you kept testing lh levels after the peak or if you used a BBT which would rise after ovulation

jelliebean9 · 26/03/2025 07:19

Morning everyone. Flashing smiley today on clear blue OPK! DTD last night, when do you girls recommend doing it again? I’m not up for it again tonight 😂 would once more tomorrow be enough do you think?

BGxxx · 26/03/2025 07:28

@jelliebean9 I think every other day is enough! I’ve done every day of the fertile window before and and every other day and I’ve got pregnant on the cycles we did it less🤣

jelliebean9 · 26/03/2025 07:31

Yes that is the same for me. With my son, I think we accomplished it once that week and it still managed to happen 😂

Floralcat · 26/03/2025 07:52

@jelliebean9 1DPO for me and i am relieved the ' active' part of cycle over with hahaha- we only managed every other day for 6 days over fertile window so 3x basically so hope thats enough ! x

BGxxx · 26/03/2025 08:42

@jelliebean9 its weird how it works like that🤣 how old is your son?

peanutForever · 26/03/2025 09:25

Hey ladies is anyone trying cough syrup with guafiniesen?

Apparently its the same as taking mucinex (US) but UK version is green sudafed or boots own/benylin (apparently it thins your cervical fluid so its easier for the swimmers to get up there) and you take during ovulation time? I wonder if it works

ThisAquaOP · 26/03/2025 11:32

@peanutForever hi hope you don’t mind me asking but which baby aspirin did you take please? We’ve been trying since January 2023, one miscarriage and one chemical - willing to do anything at this point. My husband is fasting for Ramadan too so hoping his fertility isn’t affected this cycle because I’m praying for a sticky baby! Thanks so much for your help

I bought tablets of the actual ingredient. They smell so bad! Not sure if they’ve helped? Haven’t taken them very consistently to be fair 🙈

Think I’m ovulating today. (Although had ovulation pain last cycle but none this time.) If so, only had sex O-1 and O-4, so hope that’s enough. All a bit stressed and run down here which isn’t very conducive to lots of sex, and worry about putting pressure on husband but equally feel so much pressure to DTD so we have a chance!

Think i might be joining you, i've been ttc since coming off the pill in July 24. Fell pregnant in Dec but unfortunately had a mmc at 9.2 found out at 10.3, had medical management on 26th Feb so 4 weeks ago and i think I've just started my period.
