I tested early on my two pregnancies before and had two successful pregnancies then I had an early miscarriage and a chemical miscarriage last year and I was trying my hardest not to test early because of the heartbreak I experienced from the last two times. I’ve been trying this month and hoping I get a positive next month but I don’t know how I am going to stop myself from testing early, I worry so much after having the miscarriages anyone else finding it hard not to test so early x

I’d put money on a digital showing up. I got a 1-2 weeks only 18 hours after a stark white BFN and super faint on a cheapy.

Yeah, they’re meant to be 10miu for 1-2 weeks, so the same sensitivity as the strip tests. And next Thursday should be good for the 2-3, as you should be around 160miu. Good luck!

Never done a digital before.. I think i probably only peed on 2 sticks when I was pregnant with my son and was satisfied with that 🤣 now just deciding when to fill out my self referral form!

It's been averaging about 33 here the past handful of days and already I'm over it. I swear I'm running like a furnace lately. Need to get the pool cleaned ASAP because I cannot handle the next 3 months like a literal beached whale 😅

Not had my scan yet no, couple more days to go for that.
Getting the pre scan nerves now, and although I still feel baby move it's not as much but I reckon that's because with the heat and trying to get as much done before the kids are off school, plus dogs barking at nothing and insects in a child's bedroom on the nights (she is petrified of them) means lots of sleepless nights lately, and so I'm napping any time I stop for a sit down 😅😅

I am nauseous alllllll day (it started with just mornings but ramped up to all day since Friday 🙃) and I'm exhausted. Like, I wake up in a morning and feel like I've not slept at all. I'm grazing all day to try and help the nausea so I'm officially a cow! Haha! So jealous you've got a scan soon, how many weeks are you?

I’m good, thanks. I had my booking appointment today. My MW couldn’t find my veins 🤣. So I’m going to have the bloods I should have had done today, taken at my NIPT next week instead. I had a bit of a scare last night when I bled just after sex (PTSD from March….), but it was just brown spotting this morning and disappeared very quickly so I think it’s ok. My dating scan is on 18th July - so in about 2.5 weeks time.

Oh gosh, that is a little scary demi repeat of March. Glad it's all resolved itself though!
Forgive my ignorance of nipt testing, is this just the regular screening they do to go along with the nuchal thickness?
I keep reading people finding out their baby's sex with it too but surely that's not a regular thing in the uk? Am I just so far behind on the times?😅
Ohh scan before you head away, perfect! Is it feeling real for you? How're 1st trimester symptoms treating you?

NIPT is more accurate than the combined test. On the NHS it’s usually offered if someone gets a high chance result in the combined test, but I asked to skip straight to it, as I’m 42 with a child with Down’s syndrome, so it seems pretty much guaranteed that my CT would come out as high chance. So now my 12 week scan will just be a dating scan. Sadly, they don’t tell you the sex if you have the NIPT through the NHS (or at least they didn’t back in 2017).

Thought i might give you all an update. I got my first squinter Monday night and today's test is attached (11dpo). Hoping its dark enough 🤞Definitely seems a lot lighter than my previous pregnancy tests at the same DPO so feeling some anxiety around that.

Had my anatomy scan today, baby is growing right in track all happy and healthy. Another blinkin' girl though 😅😅 the hormones and sass in this house is going to be insane....

@LaTable I'm sure its fine. My last tests looked stronger but didn't progress. This started really light but seems to have some progress so that is probably more important.

Delighted to hear baby girl is doing well. I have a boy and I feel like I am destined to have an all male household plus little ole me. I'm sure my husband would say I have enough sass for the lot of us anyway 😂

Fabulous about your 20 week scan @LaTable! I had my booking appt on Tuesday. The MW was lovely, but completely failed to successfully take my blood, so I’m basically having everything else done at the same time as my NIPT next Weds 😂

@LaTableno idea. I think it took a couple of weeks with DD2 so I think I’ll be unlikely to have them before the scan, which will be on the 18th
