@Daniki omg nooooo that doesn’t sound fun at all! It’s gone on quite a while now hasn’t it. Would they give anti nausea meds?

@Marie1990xim not sure, I’m hoping it starts to ease soon anyway I read at 10 weeks your symptoms peak with levels been so high so hopefully that means it’ll start to subside 🤣 haha god love ya I’d be the same constantly refreshing it’s so annoying waiting!

@Daniki I’ve got my results, they’re 424. Pretty happy with that I think (from what I’ve googled), would have been 16/17dpo when it was taken yesterday.

@Daniki haha it’s crazy how much it can vary isn’t it! The doctors just rang me saying it’s a really good number, exactly in the range they’d like/expect it and nothing to be anxious/concerned about. I told them I still couldn’t believe it and feel anxious 😂😂.
I’d told myself I’d be happy with anything around 300, so chuffed with that.

Just called my fertility team as well to cancel appointments. I’m officially going to stop worrying now (for a bit at least 😅).

@Daniki haha I will try. I definitely feel better now though after my bloods. 2 weeks on Sunday until my scan and hoping it goes quick!

@Daniki yeah telling her on Mother’s Day 😊 I can’t believe I haven’t let it slip beforehand though! Also hoping for a lie in and told my husband I really want some croissants 😂.

I did my hospital referral yesterday and already got my booking in appointment through for mid April and 12w scan (12th May).

Omg I bet you are shattered! How are you staying awake and coping during the day 😅😅

@Marie1990xoh lovely to get that all sorted 🙌🏻 you will have your booking app before me 🤣 I booked a private scan for the 11th April, I should be 12 weeks &2 days and I can (hopefully) relax then and tell my family! I duno I’m wrecked now I’m very tempted to leave work early but iv only 2.5 hrs left 🤣 iv the shopping to collect after work tho with my son, so will be a manic evening! Ah your mam will be delighted does she know yous have been trying so long etc?

@Daniki haha that’s crazy! Definitely would have booked a private scan as well with that wait! I think once you’re at the 12w stage you’ll be more relaxed.

My 12w scan is bang on 12 weeks form LMP, but told her I’m 3-4 days behind but she said it’s fine, they can do it from 11 weeks anyway so all good.

Yeahhh she knows everything. We were even discussing my hycosy appointment last night 😂😂. She’s going to be soooo shocked.

Ahhh power through the 2.5 hours! You can do it 💪🏼. Hope it’s not manic and can have some relaxing time. Perks of being pregnant with your second is time will go quicker by having to run around after the kids 😅

Yea that’s great no difference in the few days and you might be surprised at how far along you are. Yea il just power through, I’m on my break now anyway and then I can look up furniture online 🤣

@Daniki She’s coming over soon to take my daughter out while I finish some work up, just hope I don’t spoil it by spilling this late in the game.

@Daniki awww amazing news!!! Such a daunting time isn’t it, will you relax after your 12w one 😂? 2 days is nothing really in the grand scheme of things is it. Bet you feel so relieved. Did you mention the spotting again to them?

I needed another digital for Sunday/Monday in the hope I get my 3+, but got a boots as well because I missed peeing on them and wanted to check it was still picking hcg as I still can’t believe it 😅. Got my due stealer though 🤞🏻💪🏼🫶🏻

@Marie1990xthats a great dye stealer! 🥳🥳🙌🏻 I didn’t actually mention it because it felt a bit rushed, it was 2 doctors iv never seen before and it was all a bit weird 🤣 wish it had been the doctor I had been seeing previously she was so lovely. I was looking at the scan they gave me afterwards and it didn’t have the measurements or anything on it for me to compare to the last one 🤣 Will hold out for the private one as I know it will be quite detailed! I will hopefully relax after that 🤣 I’ll be back 2 weeks after that anyway for my booking app and scan and then il have one 5 weeks after for my 20 week. They did say to me today with my history il be in the maternal medicine clinic again, which I expected so I will have extra monitoring at that and they scan tou at every appointment!

@Daniki that’s amazing that they’re keeping such a close eye on you, definitely makes you feel more confident with them doesn’t it. Hahahaha nooo stop comparing! If there wasn’t any uncertainties from the doctors then that’s amazing and run with it 😊. When is your private scan?

I hate this lull before scans and after positive tests. It’s like no man’s land, there’s no bump to show you’re pregnant and no excitement over lines 😅. Just exhaustion and sore tits 🤣
