Hi everyone!

im 9DPO today and I’ve just tested and I think I’ve got a positive. Unfortunately had a chemical pregnancy a few months ago and my period arrived on time so I’m a bit sceptical this time round. Kicking myself for testing early really. :(

It's definitely darker!
I've seen progression but mine still looks really light. Getting a bit nervous but trying to stay calm as it's still so early. I have some new FRER tests arriving tomorrow so will be testing with those again too.
My only real symptom at the moment is insomnia - no more cramping, no back pain. Hoping everything is ok.
If I continue seeing progression over the weekend I'm thinking about booking in an early viability scan for some reassurance...

My test this morning is like yours, I got the best result on the clearblue blue dye but they are known for indent lines and other issues so I'm not sure.
Any of my pink dye are really light.

This was this morning for me after maybe 5/6 mins, taken under flash, it looked much lighter in pictures with no flash on camera.
I'm 12 dpo today so its hard to know. Period would be due on Sunday.
I wish I could just get nice dark thick lines, I had this last time with CP, definite lines but they were light/didn't progress so thats whats making me panic this time x

I had faint positives at 9 and 10 dpo. They're currently playing Minecraft together

I love this xxx

@Applecrumble9 It's so stressful isn't it? Glad to hear you're getting stronger lines with Clearblue.

I've taken another test on SMU and it was immediately darker so feeling a bit relieved. The below is 9dpo, 10dpo, 11dpo FMU and 11dpo SMU.

Thats so much stronger the biggest congratulations i think if i had progression like yours id be feeling really optimistic. My SMU yesterday was stronger too, its so strange. And so stressful and worrying. I've so many cramps and because early pregnancy and pms symptoms are so similar I dont know if its a good or bad thing. I'm just so stressed and worried and really just hoping that this works out this time x

Yours look so promising, and so much darker than mine. I'm getting loads of cramps and have very sore boobs and insomnia but nothing else. Those tests for me are still so so light but the clearblue blue dye are a lot darker so I really dont know what to think.
The biggest congratulations to you x

Thank you!! If you’re testing positive on both I’d try not too worry yet (easier said then done because I’m honestly the same!) I have insomnia too! Wake up at 5am and can’t go back to sleep! X

Oh my goodness, the insomnia is real for me too @esunny @Applecrumble9. Don't get to sleep until 2am and then I'm awake every hour! Not a symptom I was expecting.

@Applecrumble9 stay positive knowing you're testing positive on both - easier said than done I know!

Me too, I'm so tired during the day but then go to bed and can't sleep, then this morning I woke at 3.30am and couldn't get back. I wasn't expecting insomnia either, not this early on.

Thank you xx my first morning tests always seem to be lighter too, but i do get up to pee during the night so maybe that's why.

I've just done another clearblue and boots test the boots is the extra early one but both of them look pretty OK I think. Its just the little strips I dont seem to be getting very dark lines really x
These are my tests from just now, probably 3rd/4th mu, but tests are darker than my fmu strangely

Congrats!! I got my digital positive a couple of days ago - such a relief, isn't it?

Hope the nausea is manageable. I haven't felt that sick yet, but still struggling to sleep and have started to feel some tingling around my hips. My appetite is really reduced too.

Fantastic news to start the weekend xxx im also feeling waves of nausea that come and go.
I'm going to do a digital later today my husband has no idea how much I've spent on tests 😅🤣🤣 I also slept a little better last night x

@ThisOrangeCat my appetite has reduced so much too which for me is no harm after Christmas 😅 xx

So far so good x I got my positive on the digital yesterday, haven't tested today for the first time 😂 trying to hold off until Tuesday if I can. My cramps are gone for the most part, still have sore boobs, have more of an appetite today, also sleeping better the last 2 nights x my CP happened about 5/days after AF would have been due so I'm still terrified but hoping everything will be OK.

How are you? Xx

ThisOrangeCat · 05/01/2025 13:38

Hey! Definitely feeling some changes today, and test progression is continuing nicely. I was holding off calling my GP about the positive pregnancy test, but am going to call them tomorrow as progression has been good 🥰I'm also thinking about booking an early viability scan as I'm feeling quite anxious.

Symptoms wise I'm definitely sleepy, and have noticed getting a bit breathless a couple of times. Some ligament tenderness in my hips a couple of nights ago. But my main symptoms today is really sensitive nipples - they felt like razor blades this morning!

That's fantastic I'm also going to call dr tomorrow and see if I can make an appointment for Thursday of this week when I have some time off work x
Sore boobs is my main symptom at this stage.
Also thinking of booking any early viability scan to put my own mind at ease 😅
It's so nice that we are all in the same boat 💖 x

@ThisOrangeCat @Applecrumble9 I’m so glad to hear the positive news from you both! 🥰 my symptoms are sore boobs and really breathless, the breathlessness is freaking me out! Getting waves of anxiety too especially at night but I think this might just be my hormones.

think I’m going to call my GP the end of next week to just see if my period comes late or not! X

I'm getting exhausted by just cooking the dinner, my back gets sore chopping the veg 😅 so I do feel a lot more fatigue than usual too so im sure the breathlessness is probably all part of it. I'm sure it's just our bodies preparing for all of the changes 💖
Its so tough when you can't be excited and are so anxious about it, i hate that i can't just enjoy every minute of this and feel excitement, but I'm just so scared xx

I can only imagine how you must be feeling after your CP. I'm doing everything I can to keep my mind occupied at the moment to try and keep the anxiety at bay - but it's definitely easier said than done!
