9DPO - positive is this possible?

Hi everyone!

im 9DPO today and I’ve just tested and I think I’ve got a positive. Unfortunately had a chemical pregnancy a few months ago and my period arrived on time so I’m a bit sceptical this time round. Kicking myself for testing early really. :(

Oh that's so so fantastic xx I tested again this morning but the line is still vvvv faint.
Last night I had some stabbing paints in my mid lower stomach and have lots of light cramps coming and going, lots of waves of nausea late last night/this morning and some very light pain in my boobs. So I dont really know whats going on for me, am I getting AF (due the 5th) or could it be implantation taking place. I'll test again in the morning, I had hoped line would be darker this morning but definitely no darker than yesterday although it is still there x Happy New Year

Edited

These symptoms sound really similar to mine. I had a v strong wave of nausea at 7dpo, and had some light cramping and dragging sensations in my uterus 7/8 dpo and last night. Boobs are now feeling tender and very full.
I can see a vvvf line in your test so hoping AF stays well away from you!

Yeah I'm getting lots of waves of nausea, the cramps are just coming and going. Really hope AF stays away. The line is slightly darker in person but still vvf. The annoying this on my boots tests is that the line is so dark after 1 hour but obviously this doesn't count 😭 going to wait until Friday atleast to test again x

Morning! @Applecrumble9 @ThisOrangeCat the top one is my test this morning, the bottom is my one from yesterday. I’m just so worried it’s not going to happen again after my CP. I feel sick this morning but not sure it’s all in my head. Periods due Sunday, and have low back cramps :( xx

You've got line progression for sure, and your lines look quite dark compared to mine. AF due Sunday for me too. I am also so scared and worried it's going to happen again. My lines are so faint it reminds me of last time, which worries me as I'm not sure mentally I can get through it all again x

Bless you. You still have a line though! You might of implanted later than me. I completely understand your pain, I’m thinking the same. I can’t get excited. Going to test on Sunday now I think and see if AF comes. I usually get spotting before it so I’ll know or not whether baby sticks x

I don't know if what i had yesterday evening/last night was implantation pains, but hoping it was rather than AF on its way. I'd love to wait until Sunday to test but already know I'll make it to Friday/Saturday at a push. It's so tough after a loss, but hopefully these are our rainbow babies x

ThisOrangeCat · 01/01/2025 11:57

Great that you're seeing progression @esunny. And your symptoms sound promising too 🥰

@Applecrumble9 I can only imagine how anxious you must be. Sending lots of positive thoughts your way.

Think I'm going to test again on Friday.

esunny · 01/01/2025 12:01

@ThisOrangeCat @Applecrumble9 thank you both. Happy New Year! Hopefully 2025 will be amazing for us all! Xx

@ThisOrangeCat @esunny I caved and tested again using 2 different tests (even though I swore i wouldn't do this to myself again) But it's looking a bit more positive I think, both results were within 2/3 mins after taking the test, so fingers crossed again for us all that 2025 is going to be our year xxx

Oh yours is darker for sure, i felt my easy @ home was a bit lighter this morning, not nearly as dark as I thought it would be. Had to run out the door to work so had no time to let it dry but it looked lighter to me 😭 and with the cramps and all I'm so scared. Had some nausea yesterday but that's gone now too

MakeMeJuno · 02/01/2025 10:36

@esunny that looks so reassuring. I also had a CP last month so I know how you must feel now not wanting to get excited xx try to remind yourself that most CPs are because something was not right with the embryo, so your body was super clever at recognising that early on. It's sad but there's no reason one CP would mean this one is CP too 🙏

ThisOrangeCat · 02/01/2025 10:49

It's definitely darker!
I've seen progression but mine still looks really light. Getting a bit nervous but trying to stay calm as it's still so early. I have some new FRER tests arriving tomorrow so will be testing with those again too.
My only real symptom at the moment is insomnia - no more cramping, no back pain. Hoping everything is ok.
If I continue seeing progression over the weekend I'm thinking about booking in an early viability scan for some reassurance...

Oh bless you! I think it’s best resting every 48 hours to see a real difference as hcg doubles then! Xx

I had faint positives at 9 and 10 dpo. They're currently playing Minecraft together
