Is anyone else starting TTC for next cycle in January?
I've got a DD who's 6 but I do feel a bit like i haven't done this in a while so just wanted to chat. 🙂

I’ll join too! I’m either 3dpo or 5dpo. I’m leaning towards 5 but FF thinks 3 x

Currently on my first proper cycle since my little one, think I’m 4dpo today. Not holding out too much hope as I’m still breastfeeding

YKM2829 · 26/12/2024 20:41

So this is what my premom app says for today. Been logging my cycle and doing random ovulation tests since June 2024. So I feel it's fairly accurate I've used a few apps and I also find flo app quite accurate. And they seem the easiest to use still while not paying for extras. I liked Luna app but it got annoying not being able to use it properly without it always throwing paying in your face. Lol I'm cheap.

Right now I'm Cycle day 10. Super excited.
Although am nervous. But I get anxiety so if I continue to think negatively I spiral really quickly lol just wait till end of January when I will probably get a negative test and cry all day 😅😅

May I join? I'm 31 and this will be our first cycle TTC for baby #1...I am on CD6🙂

2petrabbits · 26/12/2024 20:57

Hello,

I’m on cd2 and this will be cycle 7 of ttc for the first time. Trying to find some positivity!

Cinnamonbunn · 26/12/2024 20:58

Hi all, can I join too please?

Exciting a few of you are already in the two week wait! Or approaching ovulation. I’m TTC #2 and this is my first cycle of trying. No regular period or cycle but hopeful ovulation might happen tomorrow based on OPKs, cycle day 27 😳😬

YKM2829 · 26/12/2024 21:32

Yeah course anyone can 🙂
I was on a copper coil it was a 10 year one as thought I didn't want any more kids in my previous marriage. But now I really do and really excited but my hormones have been all over the place like I actually feel crazy sometimes. And think I have PMDD as I feel worse mentally on ovulation and feel better mostly on my period.

Hope this is lucky thread! Am cycle day 1 x

BloomingOrchidea · 26/12/2024 23:40

Hey everyone may I please join? I think this is the right thread? Its ovulation day for me today so either AF arrives in Jan or ill be ready to test then !
I'm 40 and it's my 1st cycle TTC #2. Took 9 cycles of trying for DD so hopefully it wont take as long. Good luck ladies, excited to go on this journey with you all

I think FF is right, from the information you put in it. Technically speaking your egg releases the day after a positive OPK but you know this :) Did you test twice, morning and afternoon ? x

After posting my chart in another thread I also think FF is now right😅. I usually ovulate CD 17 like clockwork and I test several days leading up to this and get a gradual rise but this month I was quite shocked to see the static smile (also a blazing opk) so early! It was the first test that cycle that I did so I didn’t know if I’d caught the start or the end of the peak. Had a positive OPK the next day then negative after that x Fingers crossed😂🤞🤞

BloomingOrchidea · 27/12/2024 00:17

@Yellowdaff25 Crossing my fingers for you too ! You use the digital one? I think i did them one cycle, do they get expensive? Not sure if youve tried the strips, theyre so much cheaper. Im still using the pack I bought from my last time ttc and it took me nine months then!

Oh I am a pee on a stick addict. I usually use Amazon cheapies and buy in bulk🙈. But the last two cycles I have been incorporating the clear blue digital as well. Also bought on Amazon and cheaper than in Boots x

Haha same cant get enough of it haha how many cycles are you now? and will it be your first? xx

Marshmallow99 · 27/12/2024 08:57

Hi everyone, I’d love to join. I am 33, trying for baby number 1, unfortunately we’ve been trying for 18 months with no luck so far. I was wondering is 14dpo too late for implantation bleeding? I had very light spotting yesterday and usually AF would follow soon after but no signs. My boobs are extremely sore which is unusual for me, all of my tests are bfn though! X

BabyS2025 · 27/12/2024 15:26

Can I join? Starting in January or February. TTC baby #2 with a different partner, got one son already but a long time ago. Much older now at 38 so not sure if it'll happen!Confused

BabyS2025 · 27/12/2024 15:28

Does anyone have any vitamin recs (for males and females!?) I've heard Proceive are good? Can't remember what I took last time

MrsH26 · 27/12/2024 15:32

Only CD6 but I’ve had a real low left sided stitch type pain brewing. Hoping it might be my cycle actually getting on the go following mirena. Going to OPK to keep an eye just in case it’s earlier than expected!

I've just ordered the pregnacare max, it says for during pregnancy, but looking at the actual vitamins breakdown and how much of each I don't see anything jumping out as to why not take it now. It has everything needed and only like 9 or 10 quid on amazon. BF is gonna take them too as with a quick Google search seems he can and should be taking it all as well for good spern health too. I figure if we keep everything else no stress we can at least take 1 vitamin tablet a day 🤣

I’ve been taking them for the last 4 months and no issue with periods. They do make your pee luminous yellow though!
