My SIL recommended royal honey to concieve easier, she got pregnant on the first try tho so she didn't know if it was because of the royal honey. I take folic acid, does anyone else have good experience with royal honey or is it just a "myth"? Just curious 😊

What the royal jelly suppose to do?

Alex2022 · 08/01/2025 16:49

I think it can help men with sperm count and motility but not sure the benefits for women, would be interested to know though :)

carolinep3 · 08/01/2025 16:51

When I conceived before I was drinking raspberry leaf tea. Going to start again this cycle. Apparently it helps with uterus health and overall fertility.
Can't hurt. I only really drink a small cup a day.

Floomobal · 08/01/2025 16:53

The thing that changed for me was taking Co Enzyme Q10 which was recommended by many women here.

I’ve read that royal jelly can help stimulate follicles, but there’s no definitive data yet

This is meant to help with egg quality isn't it?
I've been taking it but only 200mg a day, I've seen the recommended dose for women is 600mg? I've just brought some new ones from Amazon. I think it helps with sperm health too so might make hubby take it too WinkSmile

Floomobal · 08/01/2025 16:58

@carolinep3 yes, apparently. I’ve been taking 300mg daily, along with a folic acid/vitd. A few women said it had messed with their cycle a bit, but I never noticed any changes in mine.

BerrieSweet · 08/01/2025 17:00

Interesting, thanks for the input! 😊

Alex2022 · 08/01/2025 17:03

I thought raspberry leaf tea was meant to induce labour! I’ve got loads of teabags left from when I was getting ready for my daughter arriving and trying to hurry her along so will give it a go if I need it next cycle.

It has lots of benefits I believe. Babycentre has an interesting article on it. Apparently it increases blood flow to the uterus to helps the strength and lining. Can be helpful in Labour too apparently. Who knows, from all my research it can't hurt!

SarahB88 · 08/01/2025 18:42

@carolinep3 wow definitely worth a go! They think I had my bleed because of having such a healthy uterus at birth time so there has to be something to it. I had an unplanned section, you aren’t meant to drink it if you’re having a section for exactly the reason I had.

Lcc5261 · 08/01/2025 19:00

Hi Ladies, wow don’t know how you keep up with all the comments it’s nice to see so much support! So I have a question and sorry tmi but how do you actually check your cervix because I can’t get to mine without doing the twister lol is that a good sign? Xx

ThisHangryTiger · 08/01/2025 19:58

I'm on CD25 and 6DPO. First time ever doing OPK's and I got a distinctive peak (well at least it looks like it!). I'm sure before the pill I was 28 days but my first cycle off I hit 31. No idea when to test, AF should be due Sunday based on 28. I've looked at all your tests and sometimes for the life of me I can't see anything - I must be blind as a bat or totally missing it! Wondering if I should hold out to sat as then I'm not so much in a rush for work. i have the 6 day early tests from clear blue but also the easy-home ones when I bought the OPK's. Currently been feeling very bloated but not sure if that's coming off the pill, and also my boobs sometimes feel a bit itchy - like there's a hair there so who knows!

SarahB88 · 08/01/2025 20:09

@ThisHangryTiger I really struggle to see people’s faint lines too 🙈 so you’re not the only one!

Alex2022 · 08/01/2025 21:03

I'm wondering the same - not sure how to assess as such! V new to this, TTC #1. Any tips would be helpful! :)

Wisher88 · 09/01/2025 06:59

A couple of things I've heard that can help to conceive is finding a way to help the sperm pool and stay near the cervix. One method is a pillow under your hips and another is inserting a rubber cap to keep them up there.
The first time we were TTC I'd do the pillow method every time, lay like that for about an hour each time. Not sure if it helped? Maybe it increases the chances?
This time I was so sure we were late trying that I just got up fairly quickly, no pillows and just got on with my day 😂 so god knows. I think anything you can do to help it along I'm sure at least slightly improves your chances!

Wisher88 · 09/01/2025 07:01

Those of you who tested positive before me, have any of you done a dating one to see how many weeks you are?
I just did one today to be honest expecting it would now be 3-4 but still 1-2. Strip test is stronger than yesterday so that's at least a good sign. Although checking my tracker we only first DtD two weeks ago today so I guess I might see 3-4 by Sunday?
Anyone else just get so consumed by this?

FMc208 · 09/01/2025 07:22

9dpo today and took these - can I have opinions please? I turned the brightness down because the lines don’t photograph very well…

I can see a line on the CB 😍

PamelaDoov · 09/01/2025 08:07

@FMc208 I can see a line on both x

Room4onemore · 09/01/2025 08:55

I’m going to order some Q10 and raspberry leaf tea today and some cb ovulation tests for next month

BerrieSweet · 09/01/2025 09:01

I thought AF was due today but I didn't realise the app moved the prediction when I didn't log AF. 1 day late now, 13 DPO, negative test this morning. No symptoms related to pregnancy or AF😂
