@KittyFantastica really hope it’s a sticky bean for you 🤞🤞🤞

KittyFantastica · 07/01/2025 11:08

Thank you @SarahB88 @ThatSnugSwan and congrats to you @CoolBananas21, just catching up with the thread!

I'm 9DPO today. Fertility Friend had my O date down wrong, it suggested potential ovulation on the date I got my peak, but my EWCM didn't stop until two days later, so definitely 9DPO. I had cramping two days ago that was quite strong on and off all day, and then last night I had heavy feeling and dull period pain type cramps. I also had sensitive boobs yesterday, which is very unusual for me. I've manually changed my FF graph, and attached a photo for interest.

Sorry to hear you're in limbo @EEB1989 Did you monitor ovulation with OPKs/temping? What dates did they give, and how long is your luteal phase usually?

Yeah I’m a tracker… I peaked 25/12 ovulated 26/12 so I’m 12DPO, my luteal phase can vary on average it’s 11days. This month was mean to be a 10day phase but I ovulated late (CD19) technically AF could show up late/on time.

We did the sperm meets egg method so DTD for 25, 26 & 27. Just hoping we’ve caught the egg…

Ive never had cramps and not gotten my AF and I’ve never had spotting before.
I haven’t been on any contraception for two years - we haven’t been TTC either.

I’ll wait until the weekend before testing again. I’m just not sure which tests are better, I don’t hold much hope for the cheapies.

First response are good, they do a nice clear pink line. You can get them on amazon. If AF doesn’t show on 16th for me I’m going to order some of those as clear blue can have evap lines. I do like a digital clear blue test though for confirmation.

KittyFantastica · 07/01/2025 12:24

Fingers crossed you've got a late implanted then @EEB1989 I've always had good success with the Wondfo or Easy@home cheapies - they're pink dye and very semantics. I do know there has been the odd indent with them, though. I rate FRER as well, and the line did eventually come up on my FRER this morning, but the cheapies shockingly showed it much better. I have a couple of clear blues in the back of the cupboard, but I wouldn't use them until after I'd missed my period by quite a few days as they are notorious for evaps, and wouldn't want to be guessing.

Actually, I have these small Easy@home tests, which I used for my last pregnancy, and the line on that came up before the FRER too, thinking about it! They're cheap and very good, got them from Amazon. Picture attached.

Month 6 and think I am out. Cramping and spotting so period should be starting today or next few days. Now on to month 7 and trying to keep chin up. But also majorly bummed out. With our mc we got pregnant right away and now ...it feels like it's taking forever. As I'm 35 I'm wondering when to go to get some help from doctors as it's been 6 months.

Congrats to all who have their bfps! Really hope to join you soon 🙏

KittyFantastica · 07/01/2025 13:44

Congrats @Hen2000!

@Room4onemore Sorry I missed your post from before - I can see a vvvfl on yours like mine!

The thread is moving so fast today!!

So exciting seeing all these bfps! Congratulations ladies and all the best!

Has anyone experienced this - attached pics of my Premom app tracking tests and chart. It's saying I'm 1dpo but I've not had a 'high' reading or a line darker than the control. Could the app be adjusting? I think ovulation is delayed as I've been ill.
TIA x

I have had similar i just kept tracking. I can't remember if it adjusted itself or if I manually changed it myself. This month it kept moving around

lynzmb · 07/01/2025 14:10

Thanks @Hen2000, that's what I'm hoping. Congrats on the bfp 🙌🏻🌟

I had this too, I did the same as Hen2000 and just kept tracking and the app updated itself ☺️ x

Sorry to hear @Tally89 😔 it’s hard when you’re seeing BFN’s each month isn’t it. I had a full meltdown this month after AF arrived as it’s been 6 months for me too… and each month that passes I am getting myself more and more worked up. I had a big cry, spoke about it with DH and realised it is normal for it to take up to a year and I need to just keep going. I’m trying to focus on other things this month like my overall health so i’m not getting too obsessed with just TTC.
I think NHS recommends getting checked after 6 months TTC if you’re over 35 so maybe book in with your doctor. Wishing you all the best x

Thanks! Yeh it's tough isn't it. Although I do feel positive that it's a new year and same as you, trying to focus on being healthy and preparing my body for a pregnancy and the fact that up to a year is v normal. Here's to 2025 for us!

If I can offer you a bit of hope. We fell pregnant quickly in 2021 but had a MC. It then took 9 months for us to get a positive again. Our bodies can take a lot longer than we expect. That second positive is currently playing at nursery!

MrsH26 · 07/01/2025 15:42

Look at all those BFPs today!!!
Christmas magic for you all

KittyFantastica · 07/01/2025 16:15

Sorry to see your message @Tally89 As it's been 6 months, maybe pop along to the GP and see what they can offer? If nothing else, I think sometimes the feeling that there might be help around the corner is enough to help relax things a bit. And if they do find anything, then you'll get a plan of action :)

Miffy1994 · 07/01/2025 16:31

Congrats all on the BFPs! Lots of them flying in now, so exciting!
4dpo here and boy is it dragging… AF due next Mon according to Premom but I think that’s a few days early as I ovulated late. Will test on Sunday anyway as it’s my bday so hoping for an early present! Think it looks like there’s a few of us on this sort of timeline

Mumzydarling12 · 07/01/2025 20:34

@Tally89 @Kateb149 in the same boat as you ladies this is our 7/8 cycle TTC and I’m so fed up with seeing negatives. I’m 36 and I’m starting to think that perhaps it’s just not meant to be! Wish I could be more positive hopefully AF won’t show in a couple of days! But totally can sympathise with the emotional rollercoaster that you are going through. Fingers crossed you get BFPs soon x

PamelaDoov · 07/01/2025 20:44

Please can I join? First cycle ttc number 3. Only 4dpo today but I am so fed up of the TWW already.

PamelaDoov · 07/01/2025 20:48

@Miffy1994 we’re exactly the same, 4dpo and due on Monday! Short LP for me so i worry that the bean won’t have time to stick
