Praying for a Santa miracle!! Fingers crossed this is our month ladies! CD 5 following my chemical last month - starting to feel more positive now 🩷

Not necessarily @nicolenorris HCG can shoot up, or it can gently increase, but lots of things can affect it like when you ovulated vs when you implanted, how hydrated you are, hormones, etc. I know it's hard not to worry, I've been there with both a chemical and a MMC. Only time will tell, but I can see some definitely progression there. I'd test again in a couple of days as that will show you must better with 48 hours between tests.

Turns out, I was bang on with my prediction. The highest peak I've ever had this morning... and my husband isn't back until late tomorrow night. We've been pretty regular this week regardless of ovulation, so hopefully that will be enough. Can't remember if it was this thread I talked about how quick surges can be, but here's how fast mine happened this morning.

@nicolenorris I think progression can sometimes be really scary and panic us, but a lot of the time there are factors that can affect it, how much you’ve drank, slight differences between tests, time of day etc.
I think they’re progressing just fine and have everything crossed for you, try not to stress and remember it is out of your control whatever the outcome so the best thing you can do is take each day as it comes, enjoy the current pregnancy bubble and remain hopeful - I have a good feeling about you 🫶🏼
@Happibara I tested today, BFN. I was convinced AF was coming early yesterday as I had a lot of AF cramps, almost worse than usual, but nothing as of yet! Time will tell, I may retest tomorrow or try and hold out until Monday. How are you feeling? xx

Hi @Emiily887 my appointment went well thank you for asking! We saw a fertility dr and she was really nice. Results came back all good and on the whole my husband and I are above average on levels. My ovarian reserve is in the upper range so we have time. DH sperm count is good. She suggested a couple of things to try and help. I’m now going to be taking low dose aspirin, and also am getting my thyroid rechecked as it came out slightly out of the normal range. If it’s low then it just means hormone replacement tablets but she didn’t seem too concerned with that and said that she still feels very positive we have a high chance of conceiving naturally! But in a way I’m glad something was picked up as then we can put in these changes and hopefully are doing all we can to maximise chances. She said she thinks we’ve just been unlucky and had our confidence knocked with the mc which is understandable.
She suggested giving it another 6 months and if no luck then we have some next steps we can take with the clinic. So I feel quite positive and more relaxed now.

Great news about your ovarian reserve and your DH's sperm count @LuxyLocket I find myself wondering about these things too, like how my reserve is doing.

BBT confirmed ovulation on peak day for me, which isn't a surprise considering how fast my peak happened. Just sitting here twiddling my thumbs at 3DPO now.

I'm officially full circle as my very first ever TTW was this time last year. Three pregnancies and perfectly healthy little baby, yet still no living children at the close of the year. I did my first pregnancy test 04/01 2024, and will do my next one around 06/01 next year. I've more anxiety now than ever, but still a shred of hope.

So I got my positive OPK on the 15th December, period was due today and I have the faintest line would you say this is positive? This isn’t an early test this is just a standard 25miu test xx

Happy new year ladies ✨🤍I know this year has been tough for those of us ttc, I don’t think people who haven’t walked these shoes quite realise what a hard road it can be. But so glad we’ve kept up our threads to support and may 2025 bring you love, light and everything you deserve.
Thank you @KittyFantastica I knew I might feel down as I went into the new year as I wasn’t in a good place from everything over the autumn so having my mind re assured from the fertility tests has made me feel more optimistic and spurred me on to keep going so for me that was worth every penny.
sending a hug as I know it can be very hard to hit those marks across the year. ❤️🤍this year is going to be your year.

Thank you @LuxyLocket The end of a year is always difficult when you've not achieved something you wanted, isn't it? The whole year seems like a slog. I was pregnant for 7/12 months last year and for Christmas I got a necklace that I can put my son's ashes in. Not at all how I expected to end 2024. It makes me very nervous for 2025, but as you say, we have to keep going on.

@KittyFantastica I am so so sorry for your loss of your son, that is just heartbreaking, a beautiful way of keeping him with you but something no parent should have to do. Baby loss is real and matters. Sending you all the love and positive thoughts for the year ahead. Yes can be very difficult when you feel like you havnt achieved what your heart longs for. All the posts were hard to see. So many pregnancy announcements too.
our baby was due in Feb, we had a mc in the summer so I know I might dip around the due date.
It’s very understandable to be nervous, we have so much strength to keep going and I know good things will be in store for you ✨

Unfortunately I started with very light pink spotting when wiping that developed into bright red in the night so I’m thinking a chemical, feeling delicate this morning, not a great start to the new year for us but I won’t give up. Sending baby dust to you all and staying positive xxxxx

@OrangeRainbow I honestly think I see the faintest of faint lines! ✨ I think I saw something similar on a test, so going to keep testing over the next few days with cheapies and hope 🤞🏻

Happy new year ladies! I’m sorry that for a lot of us 2024 didn’t bless us with our much wanted babies, but praying that 2025 holds the key to many positives and easier journeys for us all.

@OrangeRainbow How are your tests coming along? Mine have gotten darker (i think) but probably still a bit early for a digital 🤦🏻‍♀️ I don't have the patience!

I took one yesterday which was darker but then no difference this morning. Tbh I'm a bit worried about how light they still are considering my period is due on Monday.

In the same boat though with it being too early for digital! When are you going to do a digital?

@OrangeRainbow Mine are really light as well, I feel like we've caught it at 7/8 DPO or something. I've never caught it so early before that I couldn't take a digital!

I have taken one and it was negative but going to try and wait a couple more days. I do find the smu is much better for the tests, or I stress less as the line seems to progress a bit more that way.

I agree about SMU. I took another test using smu and this was the progression (top is yesterdays, bottom is todays).

I'm going to take a digital on Sunday the day before my period is due I think 🤞

We are at our wedding venue tomorrow for a tasting, but all being well we would be pushing the wedding back a few months! (Wedding is in December)

Please may I ask how many DPO you are? I’m due Monday too but I ovulated late so I’m only 8DPO today, will be 11 by Monday. I average 11-12 LH phase. So I think my AF might be later than Monday…

Ive got a party next weekend (11th) so I’m trying not to test until then and if I am, AF will not arrive 🤞. I just don’t want to test before an be down on the night. I’d rather be in ignorance.

@EEB1989 I'm not actually sure as I didn't track my ovulation this month! According to Flo I would be 12DPO though.
