Hello you lovely lot, I couldn’t find another thread for December so started a new one for anyone trying! If there is another one going already please link me!

Hello @RW269. Who'd have thought we'd be meeting again a year on from our last thread, eh?

We have decided today that we will not try, but not prevent next month and see what happens. It will be really difficult not to track, but we've made a promise of no pressure. If it doesn't happen, we'll consider how we feel about it going into January.

I'm on CD2 today, and usually ovulate around CD 16. Last month, I tracked ovulation just to make sure I actually am ovulating and it happened on CD17/18. I figure end of next week will be when I'm most fertile, so if we fancy it during that time, then great, and if not then it's just not meant to be this time.

How are you feeling going into the next month?

@KittyFantastica I know a year ago things seemed like they were going to be a lot easier to have it happen for us but I’m still holding out all hope for the two of us and it’s been nice having you along for the ride as a little support group!

Thats such a good approach just having a casual month, as much as you’ll be tempted to track and over think! You and your partner have had such a stressful time hopefully this month will have plenty of distractions if you celebrate Christmas / anything festive!
I’m on cd2 as well so we will be around the same tww and testing stages so I’ll keep all fingers crossed for us!

I’m feeling a little anxious this month, just had my appointment for recurring miscarriages and waiting on blood test results and a scan in January to rule out a few problems so part of me is like worried like what’s the point in trying until I know results but I’m not going to skip a cycle it might just happen on just incase in the mean time 🤞✨

We're not really celebrating Christmas this year. There doesn't feel like a lot to celebrate, and trying to feel festive while mourning George feels so wrong. That's not to say I don't appreciate it's a very busy and festive time for everyone else. I don't have much family, and my husband's family are nice but I don't think they really understand why we can't just pick ourselves up and carry on like they have.

I remember you saying about your appointment at the clinic. I don't know if it will help much, but I'm having my 8 week postpartum bloods done on Wednesday, and those ones will be ones to test for clotting disorders and autoimmune diseases. I mentioned about feeling the clock ticking to my bereavement midwife when she called to arrange the bloods, and she said if it feels right to try then there is no harm in trying. She said if anything were to come of it, they can still carry on or modify treatment plans just a bit earlier.

If you fell pregnant in the meantime, the recurrent miscarriage clinic might still be able to help with a care plan. We've been referred to the one at our local hospital, along with the pre-term birth clinic, and the midwife said if I got pregnant again they would likely prescribe progesterone and aspirin off the bat as a first precaution and go from there. Hopefully they'll do the same for you 🤞

Ahh that is fully understandable, you two can just focus on having some quality time to find comfort in each other. That’s difficult that his family don’t understand so much re grieving George. I hope you have others around you to help support and comfort you as well as your partner.

Your bereavement midwife sounds kind, that’s a good sign that if you do fall pregnant they can do a care plan around anything if it does show. I really really hope there’s a silver lining for you soon.

Yes, going forward if we’re to get another positive test they’ll put me straight on he progesterone and we would be at the hospital at 7, 9 and 12 for reassurance / progression scans which is reassuring I just really hope it’s soon, I’ll be 32 in a couple of months and feel a similar pressure with time ticking. This is our first as well and it’s so difficult in an all or nothing way xx

Hey posted this in the Nov one but don’t think it’s active anymore.

I did two clear blue ultra early at 8dpo yesterday In evening. First I only waited a few mins so threw in bin as looked negative. Fished it out an hour later and it was positive but feel like could be evap but very blue.

second test I did straight away after seeing positive on the old test and it has a vvv faint line in a few mins. Didn’t really get darker.
Did a clear blue digital and it said not pregnant but I’m aware they only pick up 25ml hcg whereas early ones are 10ml

are these evaps or positive? My period isn’t due till next Thursday so vvvv early. Going to test again tomorrow with first response but driving myself crazy here. Wishing I hadn’t tested early as the faint positives are just giving more stress

There's no way to tell with those tests @Blondewave sorry. They're known for evaps and I wouldn't trust them. The only way you'll know is in a couple of days with another test. Good luck.

Hi Ladies, joining in again for December. Ttc baby no.3 Im 34. Had a loss in August. This is my 3rd cycle ttc since the loss. I didnt try in September. Im on cd11 and ill start the opks tomorrow. Ive previously ovulated on c14 but last month it was cd20 so who knows when it will be this month, hopefully have enough lh test strips. Good luck to you all for Dec

Ah thanks. So bizarre they sell tests like this but then claim false positives are <1% 🤯

I do have a strong feeling I’m pregnant but I’m only on first month of trying but I’ve been preg around 6x in past so I’m quite attuned to how my body feels pregnant and my boobs are deffo more sensitive than normal and metallic taste in mouth (which gets worse for me through 12 weeks and leads to relentless nausea and vomming) but who knows my mind could be fabricating it all…will update when I know for anyone else in same boat….going to test tomorrow with will be 5 days before period.

Im on cd13 today and my lh tests are getting stronger so Im close to my peak I think just a few more days.
I bought some conceive plus lubricant to try this time I read some very good reviews and thought it might be worth a try.

@RW269 Hello thank you - yeah did a test yesterday at 10dpo then again at 11Dpo all BFN. Weird as I got a faint positive a few days ago. Also feel horrendously hormonal. I usually get pregnant instantly whenever I’ve tried…so it’s another world this really. I know I’m still not ‘out’ fully but I think I am….im convinced I’d have a positive by now as I have super predictable regular cycles. Period due Thursday won’t be testing until after that if it doesn’t come. So awful TTC 🥲

Deffo won’t purchase clear blue again false positive on all of them. First response negative and CB digital negative x

Update. Day of period stoday it still hasn’t come. Bought just a cheap test from sainsburies 25ml sensitivity. Got a vvvv faint positive come up in one minute but it didn’t get darker. Last pregnancy was a MMC at 10 weeks. I’m worried this is a bad sign 🥲

No idea what is going on. Has anyone else been plagued with no period showing up and false faint positives??

Hi everyone. Thought I’d join. I can see no one’s posted since 5th December. I am ttc for 6 months now. This is my 6th cycle. Currently around 4-5 DPO, unsure as didn’t really track much. Period due around 28th December xx

@ljb23 I was about to reply to you in the previous thread then realised it’s shut lol.

I’m also in tww, first month so I’m not expecting anything more just getting to grips with how all the ovulation testing works etc. I’ve also been a bit sporadic with it so the time has not been the exact same each day. It seems to be going up and down like a yoyo so I think after the first month of getting to grips with it all should help!

I’m also super impatient haha

Hey guys. Also in TWW! Wasn't trying but had a little accident around time of ovulation. 10dpo (according to Flo) today and BFN but not ruling things out as still early and have all the symptoms I had with my first before missed period - cramps, sharp twinges, nausea & headaches since 6/7dpo.

Let's see!!! I'm due on 1st January 28 day very regular cycle so could be an interesting New Year's Day haha

Turns out, I was bang on with my prediction of peak happening while my husband is away. The highest peak I've ever had this morning... and my husband isn't back until late tomorrow night. We've been pretty regular this week regardless of ovulation, so hopefully that will be enough. Can't remember if it was this thread I talked about how quick surges can be, but here's how fast mine happened this morning.

Hello how is everyone getting on? 10 dpo for me today. Convinced this was my month for baby no. 3. I’ve conceived first time trying with all my pregnancies in past. Loosing hope and feeling like something is wrong. BFN this morning.

Omg fingers crossed for you. I’m also 10dpo..(only tracking via an app) and got BFN today.

lost hope tbh and been really down. Said I wouldn’t test early but voiding resist AF not due till 3rd…….
