Lovely to see some good news on here already!

I’m 8DPO and don’t yet feel the desire to test thankfully! I’m hoping to hold off until Sunday at the very least, but I’d like to wait until AF is definitely late.
Apart from being bloated I don’t have any symptoms. Normally my boobs are sore straight after ovulation but I don’t even have that this month so very much counting myself out. Which I think is why I’m not tempted to test yet.

Hi all! Period came yesterday at 12DPO. Had a cry as DTD at exactly the right times and it was a 38 day cycle which is long for me and has felt like it’s gone on forever with no prize at the end!

My period came today at 12dpo, bang on time as well. Just like you, have been doing it at all the right times for a few cycles now and yet nothing. It’s been a rough day

Snap i'm 8dpo as well, usually get sore boobs in the run up to period and your post made me go and check when, normally its around the 9dpo. Although i'm not very positive this month as we only dtd once as we were ill. I'm due on Weds/Thurs, when is af due for you and when are you going to test?

Argh that’s annoying/disappointing @AudreyJL. I’m sorry. It’s so hard this.

MyGardenDaisies · 04/12/2024 12:58

I have in and ordered 2x First Response Early tests and a pack of 5 One Step early ones, arriving on Friday. 🫠🫣

I had bad experience with faint lines one One Step but they have high reviews, so I'm hoping I had a bad batch or maybe it was a very early CP, I will never know.

Glad they will only arrive on Friday, when I'm 9DPO. I'll try to save the FR ones only if I'm seeing something on the One Step.

I’m due Sunday or Monday, so I think I’ll test on Sunday morning. Then if it’s a BFN I’ll be expecting AF to arrive and it won’t be as sad as if she just appears without me testing. If that makes sense. I did have random sharp shooting pain in one of my boobs the other day, but apart from that they’ve been unusually pain free.

So sorry AF came for you. Be kind to yourself and get some treats in. Hoping it happens soon for you x

Marie1990x · 04/12/2024 13:32

Ladies - my progesterone tests have come (I psychotically kept fmu from this morning to test when they arrived 😂).

Does anyone have any experience with these? It’s my first time using them. Do you think it looks positive? My peak was on Friday so I think I’m testing a day early (it says from 5 days but I clearly missed peeing on sticks). I was expecting to see a bit of a line, never been so happy to only have the 1 on a test 😂😂. Maybe there is a shadow? But hopefully the right direction

Thank you. Just trying to convince myself it wasn't the right sperm/egg. At least I didn't waste any tests this cycle.

Thank you. I honestly shouldn't be so disappointed. I have a medical condition which makes conceiving harder though not impossible since I do have a 3 year old though she was labelled a miracle. She's just been really wanting a sibling and I just want to expand our family which makes it the hardest when I see a BFN or start my period. My dear friend just suffered a miscarriage last month at 20 weeks so maybe it's a good think I'm not pregnant yet.

Aprilsunnyday · 04/12/2024 13:39

Very good to see many of the group have some good news and some with promising symptoms. I am around 9DPO and hoping to stick to not testing too early, which can be hard sometimes!
@Row23 i ve not got many symptoms to try spotting, so that perhaps helps in managing expectations, haha.
I usually don't track bbt but did this month and am seeing a bit of sustained elevation after ovulation, don't really know when it's supposed to drop if not pregnant, and if that can be used as a good indication!
Wishing luck to everyone! 😊

Sending you hugs! So frustrating isn’t it, thinking how can it not happen with the egg and sperm right there!!!!?? feeling sad today but hopefully will feel better tomorrow. 😢
I’ll be drinking ALL the Prosecco over Christmas!

Oh that’s good to know ❤️ thank you. I was going to aim to test at the weekend but not sure if I’ll last that long 😅
When do you think you’ll do another test? X

Most likely tomorrow morning 🤣 I have some of the easy at home that came with the ovulation tests so I will take those over the next couple of mornings. Ideally I would wait until Friday but I'm sure I will be itching to take one when I wake up

Good luck, I’m trying to wait until my period is late or shows. With my first 2 I only tested positive after a missed period so no need to see blank tests and get disappointed

MyGardenDaisies · 04/12/2024 14:53

@Marie1990x I don't see anything. Are you doing them to see if you have ovulated? Sorry for my ignorance.

Yeahhh so basically if there’s no second line it means you’ve ovulated. 2 lines means your progesterone is low and unlikely to have ovulated successfully, so I’m feeling confident (hopefully) 🙌🏼.

with my PCOS I don’t know why I haven’t done these sooner!

I think that means you’ve ovulated from what I can tell from the instructions. I’m only 1 or 2 DPO so won’t be doing my test for a little while. Totally messed up my OPKs as first month doing it and I was testing in the evening per the instructions but seem to get my highest result in the morning so I’m a little unsure when my peak was, was either CD12 or 13 so thought I’d get the progesterone ones too just to confirm I have ovulated as I’ve not been doing BBT.

I can't see any line so think that means you probably have? I never got on with the progesterone test sticks, always found them way harder to interpret than OPKs!

One piece of good news for the week for me - just got my progesterone blood results back and have my highest ever number, 35.7 (previous results have all been below 30), so the letrozole definitely did the trick! Hoping this means I'll have bit of extra time on my luteal phase this month.

Marie1990x · 04/12/2024 18:02

@SarahB88 I’m similar - haven’t done BBT and when I saw these mentioned previously on the thread I thought why not try it.
Not too long to wait, but it drags so much doesn’t it!

@blackberryhill I’m thinking I can see the faintest of faint lines, but I think I’ve done it a day early so will definitely test it again over the next few days as it suggests.
Ah that’s amazing news about your bloods! Such a relief isn’t it. How are you finding letrozole? I’m waiting for my hycosy and then being put it on it after that. Although if I am ovulating on my own without it I’m not sure what difference it will make x

Congratulations!!! Oh wow! I knew it after those temps/rhr rise. And you thought you were out after the BBT drop! Wow our bodies really like to play tricks with us don't they?

Would you be happy to share your BBT chart?

Marie1990x · 04/12/2024 18:59

Guys, TMI but I’m having so much watery cm. Is that normal? Obviously not associating it with anything pregnancy related at this stage, but my god it’s literally like I’ve wet myself 🥴. Had to put a pad on as my leggings were literally soaked what the hell
