Hi all, caught last month on our first month TTC, to say we were shocked is an understatement. Unfortunately I had a MC at 5+4. Was on the fence about whether to try again straight away but we decided to crack on - I ovulated CD19 which was later than previous so already thought we were out. Had major cramping 5DPO, whacky dreams, heavy boobs and extreme dizziness. I had a BFP on 7DPO, 10DPO - positive digi. I’m now 13DPO, line progression is great but the anxiety of miscarriage again is real. This has been an emotional rollercoaster and one of the hardest things I’ve ever been through - thinking of every single one of you going through this too ❤️

Congratulations on the test! I have also has miscarriages and the anxiety is awful with other pregnancies too. I try my best to stay relaxed and normally book in for an early scan which helped calmed my nerves

Hen2000 · 04/12/2024 08:35

10dpo here! A very faint line on an easy at home strip this morning. I've had a couple of chemical pregnancies and a mmc so I try not to get too excited early on.

Sore boob's and back ache! My toddler who recently weaned has been asking for milk and trying to get in my top!

I have some more easy at home strips and some other tests being delivered Friday!

Oooh that’s really good news! I know what you mean though it must be hard to feel super excited at the moment. Hopefully tomorrow you’ll have a stronger line and it’ll make you feel a bit better 🤞

Bless your little one wanting to bf 😅 it must be hard stopping him.

I used an easy at home strip this morning but it was BFN 😕 but i’m only 9DPO so not ruling myself out yet. Although i became really bloated last night which is normal for me before AF so it’s not the sign I wanted!

Mals2022 · 04/12/2024 08:47

Good luck @Kateb149 testing today!!
@Hen2000 hoping this one sticks for you🤞🏻

CD10 for me today and Flo says its the start of my fertile week, not testing any OPKs or anything this month since its our first month trying, and trying to go off EWCM so just going to DTD as much as we can and hope for the best! Time is passing so slowly even though I'm trying to keep myself busy.

Mals2022 · 04/12/2024 08:50

Sorry @Kateb149 just seen your reply😕 will you keep testing over the next few days or just wait for AF to show up/be late?

Ooh good luck this week ☺️ if you’re getting EWCM and you’re using Flo then i’m sure you’ll know when is best to DTD!

It does go really slow at the start of the cycle doesn’t it 😅

I’ll probably test again at the weekend just because I know I won’t be able to wait for AF. After getting a BFP in my dream last night I woke up so sure it was going to be positive… why do our minds do this to us! 😭

SarahB88 · 04/12/2024 09:00

I’ve resigned myself to the fact that I’ve messed up my OPKs this month so just going to go by ECMC which was yesterday. So weird how premom recommends testing in the evening but my highest tests are around 8.30am. I’ll just be testing at that time next month if I need to.

Partner was too poorly to DTD last night so hoping our other goes up til Sunday cover us and maybe we can get a final try in tonight if he’s feeling better 🤞

I had a negative yesterday 9dpo with an easy at home! Will you retest tomorrow?

pcbrb · 04/12/2024 09:05

MyGardenDaisies · 04/12/2024 07:53

@pcbrb are you taking anything for the short LP?
mine is also on the shorter end, about 11 days, and I’ve tried Agnus Castus this cycle - will see if it has any effect, but that probably would take more than one cycle to kick in anyways.

Morning everyone !

7 days since my peak OPK, so I presume it’s 6-7DPO.
I just feel tired and have sugar cravings, but that’s just me 😄🥲
I sort of wish I had bought cheapies to test from tomorrow (8DPO), but no, I’ll preserve my peace and save money.

@MyGardenDaisies hello!! I started taking magnesium 500 mg in my LP before going to bed. Also started taking vitamin B12 500 mg but I started late, like in 7 dpo.

Also I'm an including 1 spoon sunflower seeds and 1 spoon sesame seeds in my daily fruit smoothies.

I'm hopeful and curious to see if that helps with lengthening my LP and I am also curious with you @MyGardenDaisies if the Agnus cactus is helping..

I hope this is our cycle ✨🤞🏼

Oh that’s good to know ❤️ thank you. I was going to aim to test at the weekend but not sure if I’ll last that long 😅
When do you think you’ll do another test? X

Room4onemore · 04/12/2024 09:39

Hi ladies, my first month of tracking, does this look ok? I’m using Asda ovulation strips at the minute as I can’t find my unopened pack of sticks from amazon u see the pile of Christmas presents lol

Hi all! Period came yesterday at 12DPO. Had a cry as DTD at exactly the right times and it was a 38 day cycle which is long for me and has felt like it’s gone on forever with no prize at the end!

CoolSummer89 · 04/12/2024 10:03

@Fashionlover123 oh I'm sorry, that does sound very tough. Are your cycles usually this long? Or was ovulation delayed?

@Hen2000 congratulations. Totally understand the anxiety but do try and find the joy/hope in the fact that you are currently pregnant. Just take it day by day xx

I am 8dpo and the cramps are here, which were also here last cycle so it's just progesterone doing its thing. Finally after 12 months finally learning my luteal phase symptoms!

I do want to try and be positive though. Like I should have as much chance as anyone else to get pregnant this cycle. I have regular cycles, a good luteal phase, and my husband has a normal (if somewhat borderline) semen results. Don't want to count myself out but it's hard when it has been 12 months and not a single positive test Confused

No I think ovulation was delayed, they have been slightly irregular for nearly two years since coming off the pill but generally are 31-33 days, I think it was a dodgy month for some reason! Xx

Marie1990x · 04/12/2024 10:25

@CoolSummer89 I feel you! Are you holding off testing? Apologies if you mentioned before.

3dpo and already going stir crazy and impatient. Doesn’t help that work has already quietened down for Christmas so not much of a distraction.

But on the plus side I am hopeful that I actually ovulated as I have sore boobs and mild nausea which I’ve noticed is a sign ovulation happened for me 🤞🏻 but you never know with the tricks our bodies play

CoolSummer89 · 04/12/2024 10:55

Thanks @Marie1990x I am testing every morning with the mira tracker, which tests for progesterone, LH and oestrogen. Because the sticks for this are so expensive I think I will just do these and then if i miss my period then take a pregnancy test.

MyGardenDaisies · 04/12/2024 11:16

@pcbrb

Omg are we the same person?!

I am also on magnesium, vitamin B complex and have been seed cycling!! I read about it on another thread here and thought - why not, I want to feel like I've put all my effort in this, so got kilogram packs of seeds 😅

@CoolSummer89
I am here with you lovely, 7DPO and also starting to feel some pulling and cramping, but that doesn't mean anything, just that progesterone is rising, we are still in for a chance! The symptoms of pregnancy are so similar to PMS/AF approaching.

Are you planning on further testing or treatment now it's a 1 year mark? (If not pregnant this cycle? X

@MyGardenDaisies Hehe wow what I coincidence! To determine if we are the same person, did you stop HBC also 4 cycles ago? Cause also I see that this is your 4th cycle TTC like mine 😅😅 anyhow, crossing my fingers that this is our cycle, you are a little bit more behind than me in terms of dpo but I'll be following and hoping for your BFP ♥️ 🤞🏼

Every time I go to pee, I wipe scared to see blood 😖😖 this waiting is killing me...

CoolSummer89 · 04/12/2024 11:23

@MyGardenDaisies yup, have been referred to fertility hospital. Should get an appointment in Jan/Feb. Hopefully I won't need it! #happythoughts

Hen2000 · 04/12/2024 11:31

I feel like there are lots of good symptoms around for so many of us! This thread is moving quickly this morning!

@fashionlover123 I'm sorry to hear that. Long cycles make it harder I think as the month just seems to drag on. I didn't ovulate until cd24 this month

blackberryhill · 04/12/2024 11:47

@Hen2000 cautious congratulations - hope this is a sticky one for you!

9DPO here, slight increase in temperature last night but nothing significant, negative cheapie test this morning but know that would still be on the early side anyway. Not feeling massively optimistic but the next few days will tell.

Sunch · 04/12/2024 11:52

@Hen2000 congratulations!!! May the line just keep getting darker and darker 😊

@HB92 had missed your good news! Very happy for you. Sending positive thoughts your way 🥰
