Follow up of the two following threads of TTC Baby number 1 🦕🦖

So I played around with filters and there was definitely something there. Took the photo 15 mins after testing. But very faint so I suppose it could be just an evap line or something. And very early so don't want to get excited in case it fades!
Why do we torture ourselves by early testing 🙈

Hi ladybugs. Checking in because I have cracked the code to enthused DTD! Go away for a few nights 😂

I am on CD13 and I have quite pronounced cramps. We have DTD every day from Tuesday. Did this morning, will do again tonight and tomorrow too.

Last month I got static smiley on CD14. I haven’t tested this month (pee sticks not on the romantic agenda!) but pretty sure I do early. I had my blood test on day 22 last month to test ovulation and that was alright I think - see below.

so that will be 6 times this week. If this doesn’t catch then we give up 😂😂😂

i called the drs for my blood test results on Wednesday. Classic receptionist. “They’re normal” she said….tumbleweed. Glad she spent 7 years at med school and is a trained gynaecologist 🙄

think we are close to being cycle twins this month @Clara202 ✨✨✨

2/3 DPO for me today, finally in the TWW!! Got a blood test tomorrow to look at progesterone levels to see if it indicates whether I’ve ovulated, if the results are clear I’ll book another scan. But my GP did reassure me the other day and say I most likely do ovulate with regular cycles and it could just be a one off if I don’t this month which sometimes happens 🥰

I definitely don’t think we’ll be attempting SMEP again, by the time my peak came I think the good ‘supply’ was depleted.
I will stick with just DTD when the static smiley arrives and the two days after from now on! Assuming I ovulated on Friday, I’m now 2DPO…let’s see!

@KT199 let us know how the test goes ! And it is deffo more likely than not you ovulate with regular cycles !

@Clara202 i don't blame you, I personally don't have the energy for it 😂 I feel so old saying this but I think it would feel even more mechanic for us so we stick to DTD on rise day and on peak day and one day after...

@Toppstileslover sounds like you covered all basis !!

CD12 for me and the lightest LH tests so far but unsurprising given that I usually ovulate on or around cd20... such a long wait...

Morning everyone! I've another faint line today, can see it without squinting in real life but not sure if the camera is picking it up. This was within 5 mins. I'll do a digital tomorrow or later if I can't wait!!

If I were you I would hold offf on digital, it won't pick up the dye enough as the line is still faint and it will say negative (don't spend your money !) (happened to me on a slightly darker line)
It uses the same method as the strips, so when the line is dark, the screen picks it up and says positive. The CB digital ones are less sensitive as well than the strips so I'd wait a couple of days If I were you !!

I second this!! We didn’t do the 3 days in a row but we started every other day early (CD6 I think) and then 2 days in a row (peak and ovulation) and honestly it was so exhausting 🤣 it felt like it was never gonna end!!!! Especially with my ovulation not being until CD18 😂😂 but same as you, my OH towards the end actually said he felt that he had not much left 🤣😭

Had an ulltrasound this afternoon which confirmed I have ovulated 🥹 can’t explain the relief I currently feel along with very silly for getting so stressed/upset earlier this month!! Still having the bloods done tomorrow to check my PDG level phew!

Sorry for my major TMI 😂 Hubby and I had been really struggling with DTD (honestly being at home is off putting!) and doing so frequently! So was nice to relax. Am now in TWW. Might test tomorrow for smiley but to be honest enjoying having a month off and leaving it with the gods.

Thank you @ThisOchreTiger @Toppstileslover I can’t believe the relief I feel! It worried me so much as it’s the one thing where intervention is not typically seen to be successful if you need any, so I feel so much more positive now 🥰

@Toppstileslover Hahahaha, well I’m glad you’ve made the most of your birthday and break away!! I bet it is so nice to not be testing and tracking, just going with the flow! I think if I don’t get a BFP this month I may take a similar approach over Christmas as I really don’t want to be doing all that, just enjoying the festivities !

I think mine was a false alarm. Did 3 this morning, first two with FMU and another with water. There's maybe a very faint line on one of the FMU strips but lighter than yesterday. Whatever the cause I'd say I'm out this month. Digital negative today too.

Happened to me last cycle, this is why I have now vowed to not test until 14 dpo from now on but it's also very hard to hold off so I totally get it girl.

@ThisOchreTiger i agree with @Lila34830, possibly CP. I still see two faint lines on the first tests. I’d keep testing to see if they get any darker 🩷

CD 15 currently and tests are still low (around 0.2!) usually I peak cd13 so I think this one’s going to be delayed a few days! So frustrating 😭

Thanks @Gemmaemilyx and @Lila34830 . It's disappointing but we're still in the first month of TTC so I'm not feeling too bad about it. I've ordered a load of OPKs and downloaded the premom app to get charting properly next month. It's more the waiting and being in limbo as someone else put it!
@Lila34830 I think waiting to test is a good idea. AF due on Wednesday so I'm going to wait until Friday to test, if there's no sign by then. Next month I'll try to only test if AF is late, easier said than done!

What are the opinions of the group on HGC tests? Do you think the cheapies (like the premom I used) are less accurate than boots or clearblue?

Good option @ThisOchreTiger , the cheapies are sometimes more sensitive, I know that the premium is 10mgu whereas shop ones are often 20 mgu.
Catching a positive soon might be really exciting but equally heartbreaking if implantation doesn't last , this is the downside of it I guess but it's also so hard to wait. I tell myself that the longer I wait, the better it is as a positive after missed period would not be a CP.
the clear blue digital are the same as non digital tests, they just read what's on the strip inside so if your levels are too low they are likely to be negative even when a strip is positive!
