serious q ladies when are you DTD? And how often?

I am on CD8, think I will ovulate around CD17 (last month was the first time I got the static smiley). Though I’ve just checked and last month it was CD14!

so I need to order my preseed and get going this week don’t I? We are away for 2 nights for my bday so at least that’s a bit more romantic (and I’ll actually want to DTD!).

do you girls usually go for every other day for the week before? Maybe I’ll start tomorrow. CD14 would be on Sunday, we’ll be at my Mum’s (omg the shame). I think I ovulate earlier than flo says I do

gone back to check the clear blue and can't see the line as much (about half an hour later, the pic taken 3 mins after)
and the cheapie was taken at the same time as the clear blue.
got a clear blue to take in the morning with FMU.

Too scared to feel anything right now but hoping hoping hoping this is gonna be my BFP????????

We are totally unable to DTD for 5/6 days in a row in this household 🤣

@Toppstileslover we DTD every 2nd day on the week leading up, to allow for..regen 😅and then the day of peak, we don't do it afterwards, maybe we should.. 🤔

@HE93C @Lila34830 thank you both! I've started taking them .. still very weak according to the premom app so maybe I will be late ovulation again !! Fingers crossed for everyone this cycle

For those testing and using premom app these are a couple of my months. I seem to have a clear peak around CD14 and it lines up with CM, but I usually stop testing once I see the lines fade, maybe I should carry on next month in case.

My DTD schedule varies, but always try my best to do every other day in 5 days leading up to and day after. That's my best case scenario, if not possible I try to focus on day before ovu, day of and day after.

I don't know how to edit posts... sorry for another post straight after. I'm aware that sometimes the app suggests my peak based on the picture of the test but sometimes in real life a different test is actually darker so I do base off of real life more!

@Nay34 that makes sense. I always wonder how it can predict it so accurately from the pic.

@Toppstileslover we are doing the deed every day from 5 days before expected ovulation and then if we can make it work maybe twice the day of or day before but we are still fairly early in ttc so it’s still fun at this point! I don’t know how long it will last as usually I’d do it every day but sometimes I have to nag my other half as he would be happy with once a week 😂

I got to 0.81 on my LH tests last night but down to 0.6 today. Does anyone know if 0.81 still counts as a peak? I’m worried now that I’m not going to ovulate? Any advice pls xx

@HE93C it would be your peak indeed ! A peak doesn't have to be 2 or something like that ! Mine barely makes it to 1. Some months it's 0.96 as long as you see a peak :)

Oh really!! That’s reassuring cos obviously I googled and thought the worst! I saw stuff about it not being enough to ovulate if it’s under 1 and panicked!! Thank you for calming my nerves 😂

@HE93C honestly I keep on reading so many things based on a random robot woman that doesn't even exist (28 day cycles every single months for years, 2.00 LH peak, thickest EWCM, and so on 😂)
Last cycle when I had my short lived bfp I had a surge of 0.94 I think ! Don't worry girl

Girls, all remember that the 28 day cycle theory was created by men on the 18th century and it was based on ...the moon ! Every woman is different so if you differ a bit it's just because you're .... absolutely normal !

I'm also having LH issues girls 😫

Last night I thought I peaked with a .84 but this morning I tested and now I'm at .91 - I'm hoping this is my peak, I'm going to test later today around 6pm (which is when I always see the strongest results) and hope that's it's started to lower coz otherwise it's signalling ovu would be tomorrow (or overnight at some point) and if I'm measuring with my regular average cycle length of 26-29 days that gives me a luteal phase of a week or just over and that's obviously not enough time for little Dino egg to stick 😔😔

So confused and conflicted and just running myself crazy with Google.

Plus it means we'll have to DTD tonight too just to be covered and I'm completely over it. It feels so forced and its triggering me 😆😆

I still have a handful of OPK from a 50 pack so I think I'll use them up in December and it'll will be the last month I track and test because this is getting to be ALOT 😳

Hey @littlebluu , apparently there is no " late period " only late ovulation. Meaning that your ovulation day can vary, but your luteal phase will stay the same length !
So if you ovulated 2 days later than usual, you would have period 2 days later than usual - does that make sense ?

I have everything crossed that this late peak means my period would be on CD 30/31 (or not at all, ofc 😆) but I've been so regularly between 26-29 that I can't see it delaying that much but I honestly hope so!
