Hi all,
Starting a thread for people who are TTC/testing in November 2024.

A bit about me. I am TTC#1. I'm 35 and DH is 36, we have been trying since Dec 2023 and this will be our 13th cycle! We've had some basic tests and all seem to be OK, but GP referred us to fertility clinic today. So feel like we're entering the next stage of TTC.

Fertile week is next week. I'm not going to test until a missed period, which will be 14th Nov.

There were a lot of positives in the October thread so hopefully we're as lucky! 💖

Still very low ovulation tests… but I’ve got some EWCM (TMI? Sorry!) so taking that as go time!

Hi everyone, on the advice of EPAU we were meant to be having a break this month following two back to back early losses including concerns re. ectopic on cycle 8/9 trying to conceive number 2. We stupidly had one slip up on CD 11 whilst away for the weekend, and unbelievably now testing positive on CD24! Very anxious given we had been told not to conceive this month, and feel pretty stupid for not being more careful- also aware how arrogant I sound about getting pregnant from one time when I know so many of us have been DTD like mad trying to achieve this! Basically all in a massive muddle today, and given our losses I’m not getting excited at all- but sending lots of love and positivity to everyone on this thread still waiting xx

No idea what's going on with my cycle but think AF is here although it's very light and brown (sorry for tmi) and just extremely early which is worrying me a bit as usually it's to the day. Tests are negative...
BUT we move and I'll see you on the next cycle.
Congratulations to all those positives ✨ 🌷

First off congratulations, just because it's soon after your other losses it doesn't mean this one won't be successful. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you and don't feel bad about it, these things happen and wishing you a successful sticky bean!

Hi, can I join please!
We had a second trimester loss this time last year and have been trying again since January with no luck😖 we have conceived so easily three times and I was naive thinking this time it would be no different. I have had an ultrasound and bloods done which all came back normal, have tried acupuncture, "relaxing" ,but each month its getting more and more frustrating 😮‍💨 Im sure AF is just around the corner again this month ! I have given up on ovulation testing and going with the flow but im feeling very crampy this morning and periody 🫠

Moomoo20 · 09/11/2024 10:54

@HonestPinkTiger Same, AF due next Tuesday for me. I got a slightly darker easy at home test this morning (10dpo). Husband is going to pick up some different tests tomorrow. Then I'll wait until next week to do a digital. I always trust digitals more for some reason . Have you joined the Due July 2025 thread yet, it would be nice to keep up-to-date with you on there since we have very similar dates and any other ladies who have had a positive.

Moomoo20 · 09/11/2024 11:00

Just a little tip for the ladies who are still TTC. After 10 months of TTC, the two months that I managed to actually get pregnant I had been taking these tablets. I have read so many amazing things about them online and I truly believe they have helped with ttc, They have so many benefits and contribute to improved egg quality and sperm quality.

Started yesterday for me which was CD 14. It’s my first month tracking ovulation though so I don’t know when it usually happens for me.

You might find you get EWCM a couple of days before your peak, as that’s what happens for me. No idea why and as first I panicked as I thought the lh tests were wrong but apparently that can be normal! X

Yes I have exactly the same 😊

Thanks! That’s really reassuring. I was also doing some reading online and apparently LH tests are less accurate if you drink a lot of water. I’m someone who tanks water because if I get dehydrated it can trigger a migraine… wonder if it’s a factor.

CoolSummer89 · 09/11/2024 13:36

Morning all I tested this morning (10dpo) with a Boots Early Test and it was negative. I know I said that I wasn't going to test until missed period day but it actually has been making me really stressed so I don't think I will be doing that again. If I test each morning from say 8/9 dpo. Yes it's likely to be negative but at least this way I stop symptom spotting.

I had really convinced myself I was pregnant, my boobs were hurting so much yesterday and my heart rate had jumped 3bpm. But I think both actually could have been caused by the stress of the TWW. Felt much calmer today by testing early, allowing myself to be disappointed for a bit and then move on.

Great to see so many new faces, we are actually nearing capacity on this board so I will set up a new one and post the link here!

I drink loads too and had the same worries! I tried to make sure I limited what I drank when I woke up so I could test my urine around 10-11am when it was more diluted, then drank as normal for the rest of the day. To be honest I still get big peaks even when my urine is diluted which surprises me each month! I probably drink 2 and 1/2 litres of water a day but around 1 and 1/2 litres during ovulation time to make testing easier.

Sorry to hear you’re still getting BFNs 😕 I told myself the same thing this month and felt really calm until I started symptom spotting!
I’ve had three negative tests now and AF is due today… in my head I still think i’m pregnant but I know that’s really unlikely.

Let us know how you get on over the next few days and I agree it is so nice to have so many people here ☺️

Hey everyone!
Hope it's okay to jump on this thread!
I am TTC this month. I had a weird period last month that came 4 days early so I'm worried it threw my cycle off so we tried to alternate days anyway in the hopes we would still be successful.
I also judged it used my Flo app and EWCM (which seemed to match my app)
If I'm right I ovulated around the 2nd or 3rd of November and I should be due AF on the 18th Nov.
Have to admit I'm very confused at the moment. I'm trying not to symptom spot but I have been having cramps that feel like period cramps as well as cramps in my lower back. I have had heartburn for the past week now (needed to get tablets for it) my skin has broken out in so many spots everywhere all over my face and I generally feel not great, kinda queasy most of the time and super bloated!
Is any of this maybe a positive sign? Only sign I normally get that AF is coming is cramps the day before and the craving for chocolate so I've never had cramps this early.
Fingers crossed it's a positive sign!
Wishing everyone all the luck in the world this month.
Has anyone else tested yet? 😊
