Hi all,
Starting a thread for people who are TTC/testing in November 2024.

A bit about me. I am TTC#1. I'm 35 and DH is 36, we have been trying since Dec 2023 and this will be our 13th cycle! We've had some basic tests and all seem to be OK, but GP referred us to fertility clinic today. So feel like we're entering the next stage of TTC.

Fertile week is next week. I'm not going to test until a missed period, which will be 14th Nov.

There were a lot of positives in the October thread so hopefully we're as lucky! 💖

@HonestPinkTiger that's definitely a positive congratulations. So you are 9/10dpo? I would expect it to be faint like that. Give it a few more days and it should darken a lot. Maybe try a a digital about 15dpo

I’m hoping it sticks, will try again tomorrow or Sunday. had a smiley on the CB ovulation on CD15, app ovulation on CD 16 and today CD25 on the app so yeah I think 10dpo.
Scared to get my hopes up in case it’s chemical

Thanks :) I am ridiculously obsessive first cycle I was testing from 3dpo “just in case”.
I think I got a faint line last night …and showed SO, he didn’t look convinced 😂. Are they meant to be darker or is this a chemical pregnancy?!

Can definitely see a line! Test again on Saturday as by then it should be darker. I’ve been stung so bad with evaps i’m now only going to test after period due date - also CONGRATS if it is a positive - will keep my fingers crossed for you!! xx

SB0 · 08/11/2024 08:17

Hi all, I joined the thread end of Oct and have really been enjoying staying up to date with everyone. I’m about 6dpo and have sworn I won’t test until my period is due… but it’s so tempting 🤣🤦🏻‍♀️ we had a chemical pregnancy in Oct so really hoping for some better luck this month. Thank you all for sharing your stories - looking forward to the results of everyone’s tests over the weekend! 🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼

Moomoo20 · 08/11/2024 08:22

Girls, so I'm absolutely freaking out over here. I'm 9 DPO today and just got a very faint positive on an easy at home test. This is our first cycle trying since my miscarriage in September (which took 7 months to fall pregnant with). Lots of people including my Midwife told me that you are very fertile after a miscarriage, but I did not expect it to happen so quickly. As my miscarriage only happened recently, I just feel like I cannot even get excited and part of me doesn't believe that it's actually positive. Feeling so many emotions right now. The reason I tested today was because I had really sharp shooting pains on my left side near my left ovary last night. I'm so so scared I really don't want to lose this pregnancy. I'm going to give it until maybe Monday and test again and hopefully the line is darker and tell my husband if I get a clear positive. I miscarried about 11 weeks last time, so I feel like fingers crossed if I am pregnant I will be a nervous wreck the whole nine months.!!!

Hi, I posted earlier in the month but then have been trying not to think about the TWW! I was going to wait until period due date to test (Saturday) but I caved and tested today at 11DPO.

I took a cheapie premom which I thought I could see a shadow on, and then two early response ones. I’ve attached the early response and I can see a very faint line on both….. what do you think?

also if it is positive I’m trying to be realistic in that apparently up to 50% of very early pregnancies end in chemicals so I’m not sure how much to get my hopes up!

Hi all, I’ve attached my FMU test this morning, I’m 12/13dpo (I know when my peak was but not ovulation), does this line look ok as progression from my first test and is it ok for 12/13dpo? It still looks very light and I’ve never had a positive before so unsure what it should be. Please be honest if it doesn’t look hopeful I’d rather know!

That looks like a good line strength for where you are in your cycle ☺️ congratulations!

CoolSummer89 · 08/11/2024 09:57

@Triangleflower just looked at your last test and that is great progression for 2 days later! Most implantations happen between 6 and 10dpo so you could only be 3 days past implantation so I really wouldn't worry. Don't compare your lines to anyone else, everyone has different base levels of HCG and diff implantation days.

@Moomoo20 @HonestPinkTiger eeee it's the start of something very exciting for you two!

@SB0 ugh best of luck over the next few days. I was 8dpo yesterday and spectacularly lost my mind!

I had cramping all day yesterday and sore boobs. Really got my hopes up. But then at the end of the day remember I have had something similar in the past. Today (9dpo) I feel fine and symptomless and now feel very silly for how much of a state I got myself into yesterday. It's been 12 cycles and I will never learn!

I’m 12DPO today! I tested on 10DPO with a negative.
I’m still quite bloated, sore boobs and feeling so emotional today like I could cry over nothing 😅 pretty sure i’m out this month as AF due tomorrow so all my symptoms tie up with PMS. If I go quiet it’s because AF has arrived but i’ll be back for cycle 5 in a week or so ☺️ good luck to everyone and lots of baby dust! X

SB0 · 08/11/2024 10:02

@CoolSummer89 do you think you will do a test soon? Or somehow try to resist temptation 🥴

I feel your pain! It’s so normal though to get excited and to think it must be implantation/pregnancy symptoms. This TTC stuff would drive anyone a bit mad 😅 you’re still early days so nothing is ruled out yet x

CoolSummer89 · 08/11/2024 10:06

@SB0 @Kateb149 thanks lovelies, I am hoping to hold out until missed period for test, but then I bought some Boots early detection yesterday when I was in there for something unrelated (but happened to be in the pregnancy test aisle!)

@Kateb149 oh it's so frustrating isn't it, because it could be PMS or it it could be period! Whatever happens will keep you in my thoughts over next few days and pray for sanity for all 🙏

Hi ladies please can I join? I’m 1DPO and 1st cycle TTC #1. It’s so exciting but also scary as I haven’t told anybody we’re trying so it’s so reassuring to read everybody’s posts here 💖

I'm with you! 1-2DPO and first cycle TTC #1 🙌🏻 also new here, trying to learn the acronyms and other tips from others.

Not sure what to do for the TWW, should I just try not to think about it much and let go until I can test? Does anyone have any tips to avoid stressing much about it.

MyGardenDaisies · 08/11/2024 11:06

Wow lots of positives already! Not going to lie , I’m envious. I’m 8DPO, no sign of anything yet

I'm CD 14 and not even had an LH peak yet - also envious! Hope you join the lucky streak soon.

I tested at 7dpo and got stark white and then only a v faint positive today at 9dpo. My last two pregnancy's I didn't get a positive until closer to 12/13 dpo so you definitely aren't out. I'm basically putting it to the back of my mind and won't get excited until I have my first scan. My Miscarriage a couple of months ago has totally given me the fear which is sad but it has.

Mae2B · 08/11/2024 11:30

Can I just ask how much DTDs everyone is doing? 🫣 We've done it 2 days before first smiley face, on the day of smiley face and the day after. Could this be enough? Should we be doing it more?

My OH is away every other month so if negative this time, we can only try again around the New year's and this gives me a bit of anxiety. So I feel we should be making the most of it when we can 😆

HNM · 08/11/2024 11:32

@HonestPinkTiger @Moomoo20 @Triangleflower OMG these are all definitely positives, congratulations ladies, how exciting! I'll be keeping everything crossed for you Xx

MyGardenDaisies · 08/11/2024 11:46

thank you all ! X

@Mae2B we focus more on 1-4 days before O as then the chances are the highest statistically.

LittleGeneral · 08/11/2024 12:02

Hello! First time posting here - hope you don't mind me joining 💕 TTC with our second. DD was a total shock and accidental. Naively thought it might be the same second time round 🤣 this is our fifth cycle. Not sure on DPO as I didn't seem to get a LH surge this cycle despite testing twice a day. AF due Thursday so we will see! Hope you're all okay xxx

Clara202 · 08/11/2024 12:09

AF is here, bang on time, 10 dpo 😔
