aware that so many of us are at different stages of our journeys now 🥹. I hope everybody is doing well wherever you may be on yours xx

@xxcxdonxx oh i 100% agree with timing! When I think back now with how my health was and personal life having a baby was never meant to be. Feel like now is perfect timing 👌

Im on one, I just love moaning on it hahaha. Ive seriously forgot all kinds and the symtoms wow haha don't think I had them this bad with james or ive completely forgot 😅 crnt believe your 17 weeks already! That's flown tbh mines flown too im 13 on Monday. Dating scan on wed. Ive been feeling flutters too wasn't expecting so early but definitely baby and not gas which is nice feel like thats somthing you don't forget them feelings xx

Scan went perfect. Due date come forward to the 1st xx

I’m good thanks, we’ve just been away for a wee break so nice to have a change of scenery. I’ve properly popped over the past week or so and have a very noticeable bump, I still keep catching myself in the mirror as I can’t believe what I’m seeing 🤣 had to look all my maternity clothes out too and just ordered a few more tops, feel like I’ve forgotten how to dress myself!

Yeah I’ve got my 20 weeks on 18th. Feeling some flutters but looking forward to some definite movement and letting the kids feel it too xx

Im living in leggings or dresses. My jeans have officially gave way hahaha. Im abit self conscious with my belly atm , I feel like im showing too early compared to last time. which is ridiculous because I am pregnant haha so im allowed to look it, but I duno with my first I couldn't wait this time im hiding more! Ive also gained so much weight already! I just can not stop eating. I was a serial vaper and quit soon as I found out so think stopping that ive turnt to food as a new habbit x

It was very mixed but we are used to the rain so not a huge deal. Some sunshine would be nice though!

It’s a funny one isn’t it, I felt I was really bloated about 12 weeks and then just looked like I’d put on a bit of weight. Wasn’t until 17 weeks I really popped. It’s 2nd time round for you though so you will probably show a lot sooner! Embrace the bump! I’ve a really sweet tooth anyway but mines is really bad right now and I’ve definitely put on weight, just haven’t dared step on the scales 🫣

I need a good pair of maternity leggings, the ones I have are a bit see through so that’s next on my list to get sorted. We wrote a today of things we need to do round the house too, the ‘baby’s’ room is currently a office/dumping ground so need to start clearing it out a bit xx

@xxcxdonxx I rate the H&M maternity leggings and jeans, I still wear the leggings now 😂

Im getting rid of a few baby bits now so if anyone is interested let me know, ive got the Snuz studio crib, moby 3 stage bath, Joie swing and a Konges slojd baby nest xx

I had my 20 week scan today and everything looked good! Still in a bit of shock 😆

Aww lovely 😍!! Have you not bought anything yet? I decided to get some babygrows for my first purchase in the next sale the other day. Love next baby stuff always washes nice.

My 20 week scan feels ages away and im starting to get anxious and itchy feet for a private scan xx

I haven’t bought anything @Jadeypie I’ve totally been avoiding it. My MIL gave me a couple of baby grows a couple of weeks ago and it was so funny to see how small they are. If the weather stays dry I plan to get all my baby things out the garage to give them a clean and freshen up.

I totally get that, I went for one at 16 weeks as I didn’t want to wait either. For peace of mind it was definitely needed x

@xxcxdonxx thats a good idea might make you feel abit more real! Ive felt very detached tbh (way if protecting myself) I do keep having fleeting emotions like omg hshs.

The only things Ive kept is my sons cot and high chair in the loft so will need to get everything else. I definitely won't be buying the unessessary stuff this time round haha.

James starts school September so im busy concentrating on that once thats all sorted i will get into baby mode. I just feel like its going too quick for me to keep up hahaha xxx

Some good updates there 🙂 is any of you finding out what your having? I lived in primark leggings and long tops lol hid mine as much as possible untill about 30 odd wks then it became silly haha @Jadeypie i had the nicotene lozengers to see me through.
I had my other tow in there own room at 6mths, this one av kept with me because of the silent reflux, but tried her in her own room yesterday and hated it 🤦‍♀️😅... no suprise. Gona have to work on that lol

@Supertrooper101 ahh ive never regretted putting Ovie in his own room lol find he sleeps better now that we're not disturbing him and vice versa.

My mat leave ends last week of September and im so sad about it 😢 x

@Supertrooper101 awww in and out the room like a blue arse fly? Haha I had james in his own room very early was only way I could get any sleep he was such a noisy sleeper. He still is now. This one will stay with me.longer so my dp can keep the office as a office for abit longer.

@Westy22 oh its so sad when you know your going back to work. I sobbed at first but you'll find its the only place your you again and not just mum. That's what I found anyway. My last day in work is the 5th December then mat starts 1st jan so im delighted getting all December off haha retail is no fun around Xmas.

@Jadeypie glad your scan went well for you! Have you got a date for 20 week scan? I had an extra reassurance one at 15 weeks and ive booked a private scan for 18 weeks to find our gender 🙈
@xxcxdonxx bet you're relieved to get past 20 weeks, I'm hoping once I'm past that it'll feel more real, I'm the same as you not buying anything yet.
@Westy22 cant believe youll be back at work again soon, thats gone so quickly!
@Supertrooper101 I can't wait to find out what I'm having so can say he or she rather than baby. Aww bless her, can't be easy getting her used to her own room.

Did you all have the rsv vaccine when pregnant or planning to? It only came out last summer so I'm a little apprehensive.

@Paws4thought I didnt have the rsv, I had the whooping cough one though. X

I know i can't believe I have to go back to work, so anxious putting Ovie in Nursery but I feel like he will thrive as he loves being around people xx

@Westy22 yeah I plan on having whooping cough, just unsure about rsv being new although I'm due in peak season. Hopefully be in right position to find out 🤞 i can ask them to confirm at 20 weeks scan then too.
Will Ovie do any days at nursery before you go back? I think its great for them to socialise especially with others their age :)

@Paws4thought great to hear from you 🫠 my scans 21st august so i will be 21 weeks then. Git a hospital ap on Monday not sure got what yet assuming over my heart shaped womb.

Sorry @Jadeypie missed your last message, its fab when you end up with Christmas off 😂 im dreading working it this year...seriously considering looking for a new job!

@Paws4thought yes so he has 2 settling in days..one where I can stay with him and then he'll start his term whilst im still off for 3 weeks so gives me some time and means im there if he needs me. I will be tempted not to send him tho..but thats for my benefit only because ill miss him lol it will be good for him to get into a routine whilst im off x

@Westy22 oh seriously I always think the same. Im in management and its like do I just drop down to make life easier hahs.

As for little Ovie starting nursery it will be the best thing for him. Im so glad I put james in when we did because he loves it and has a group of lovely little friends. You'll be okay probably cry and clock watch all day when he starts gahaha xxx

Great to hear from you @Paws4thought i didnt have the rsv, far too new and alot of discouraging info if you dig a little in to it. Just go with your gut feeling x
My boy went in to nursery at 4mths till school, loved it. So energetic so defo needed it... yeah @Jadeypie its like the newborn stage all over again trying to get them in there own room, left it far too late haha
