aware that so many of us are at different stages of our journeys now 🥹. I hope everybody is doing well wherever you may be on yours xx

@xxcxdonxx are you still planning to wait til birth to find out?

@xxcxdonxx james has mixed emotions haha. Hes been very up and down lately and extra clingy. think the pregnancy is playing with his emotions abit.

My partner has abit of gender disappointment and he didnt really want to find out but he won last time in waiting so I thought it was fair I got my way this time round. Hes annoyed me abit though! Xxx

Thanks everyone, I'm doing ok. Haven't really had time to dwell too much on it as she's keeping me on my toes. We're off to Spain today. A little break before I go back to work in a few weeks. Hoping the change of scene will help her sleep!

Ahh have a lovely holiday! Im due back at work in 3 weeks and emotions are high! Ovie starts nursery Monday 😭

Im not sure if you guys are up for it but im in a November babies WhatsApp with girls I met on mumsnet and its lovely, I keep thinking it wouldve been nice if we had one as im always like I would've shared some pics but didnt want them on mumsnet forever 😂 its always nice to get updates from you all so thought id put the feelers out?!

Hey! Sorry just catching up, it’s been a hectic few weeks. @Westy22 how has Ovie been getting on at nursery, is that you back at work now too?

I’m almost 30 weeks now, can’t believe it. Had a growth scan last week and all was looking good, baby was measuring just about 3lbs so right on track. Im back in in 3 weeks time for another scan and to discuss section dates 🫣

Aww lovely to see all is well!! Im doing good no more scans for me now. Cervix is back to its normal length and pessaries are working thank God! Next ap is 31 weeks with prem team (im 26 now).

How have u been feeling in yourself? Ive been a crying raging hormonal mess hahaha little man is thriving though and thats all we ask for xxx

Great news, sounds like everything is on track for you too!

I’m a bit the same to be honest @Jadeypie , my patience is thin and find myself quite snappy especially with the kids so trying to stay calm! I keep having moments of panic about how it’s going to be with a new baby in the house too but we’ll get there I’m sure!

Im totally organised and nearly all done haha! Asif we are in the third trimester!!! I crnt believe im actually here! Ive finally let myself be excited. The pelvic girdle pain is no joke though!!!

How are you feeling your due date is so close now? Are you excited? How have u been? Xxx

Oh wow @Jadeypie I’m envious! I feel I’ve still loads to do, I have however secured a nursery place. I don’t know about anyone else but the spaces fill up so early around here so at least that’s one thing done.

I can’t believe we have got to this stage, it just never seemed possible at some points but it’s very much happening now.

I’m back in for another growth scan on Wed and been feeling good. Very tired though! I finish up work at the end of the month too so trying to get as much finished off as I can before that. I’m also trying to get some Christmas shopping done early too so it’s not as chaotic come December. So excited but also feel there’s lots to do!

@xxcxdonxx im sure you'll be done by the time baby gets here! Also thats a good point about nursery! I need to get in touch with james old one get on the list for there.

Oh i know tbh I gave up didnt I but my little miracle had other ideas haha. Im so excited for us 🫠

How come you ended up with growth scans? I have my midwife monday ive got a feeling im measuring ahead well when i measure i am ha but when I look at pictures of ds bump I look smaller this time so I duno.

Yayy to finishing work soon!! Hopfully get your stuff sorted so u can have a relaxing week ( or is that wishful thinking ha).

Ive been off work tbh this pelvic girdle pain is killing me. I couldnt get out the bed the other night it went so bad. Iv got some annual leave then im bk and I just dont no how I will manage cxx

@Jadeypie @xxcxdonxx how did you decide on nursery? We've been to look at most the local ones but theyre all so different!!
So happy we've all made it to 3rd trimester, count down until finishing work has began.
@Jadeypie Sorry to see you've got pelvic girdle pain, must be so difficult especially with James to look after. You're very organised though, we still havent bought anything 🙈

Yeah, im sort of an organiser, maybe a bit obsessive, ha. Currently waiting for my pram to be delivered.

Im just going with james private nursery and then move him too the school nursery when hes older enough to make thay transition better.

James is a angel so its not too bad, and with him being in school now helps rest wise xxx

@Jadeypie i’m classed as high risk, probably due to a combination of age, previous MCs and this blood clotting thing so I just get more monitoring. Funnily enough with my other two I always measured small so ended up with extra scans too, they were 8 and 7lbs so not tiny! This one was last measuring bang on where it should so hopefully stays that way.
How are you coping with that, it sounds so painful? I’ve definitely got aches and pains but nothing like that. Glad to hear that you are getting some rest.

nice to see you @Paws4thought hope you are doing well? For nursery, we just viewed a view in the local area and went will the one I got the best feeling from. There will be plenty of actual things you can look up though 🤣
It’s worked for us as both kids have went there since about 11 months and we’ve never had any bother with them. Crazy to think of that when the babies aren’t even here yet!

Hey, how are you all doing?

I’m on week 2 of maternity leave, feels so surreal that it’s here now!
Had my final growth scan yesterday and all was looking good, baby is measuring just over 6lbs so should be about 7lbs when it arrives. Got a provisional date in for my section too, it’s in two weeks so feels like the countdown is well on.

How are you both getting on @Jadeypie @Paws4thought ?

@xxcxdonxx ah thats exciting having a date booked!! Do you have anything left to prepare?
I've had a couple of growth scans as measuring bigger and fluid is higher than should be, although they dont want to scan for another 4 weeks and ill be 38+3 then hoping midwife can get me in for one before thst for reassurance 🙈

We’ve got a set of drawers to build tomorrow and some general sorting but feeling good. I’ve got my hospital bag all sorted too, just looking for a comfy co-ord type outfit for me but everything fits weird just now so it’s not a necessity.
Thinking about putting my Christmas tree up next week so that’s done too as I don’t think I’ll have much energy once the baby arrives.

Oh that’s interesting that you are measuring bigger, good that they are keeping an eye on it for you and nice you’ll have one last scan before the big day!
Strangely I always measured small with my other two but they were 8 and 7lbs so not small babies and this one is bang on 50th percentile so seems to be behaving itself.

@xxcxdonxx eeeek ive just got so excited for you!! Not long at all to wait crnt wait to hear when he/she is here hahs its so exciting !!! we are finally at the last hurdles!! I would 1000% get the decorations up be so nice to come home too from the hospital in all that cosiness and you will definitely not want to start messing around with decorations when your up the wall with the baba haha xxx

@Paws4thought im on the bigger side too measuring on 90th so alot bigger than ds, ive not had any growth scans or anything since my 20 week one. Depending on next midwife appointment thats when they will decide if i need a scan. Xxx

As for me im all sorted! Im convinced im going early i just dont no why so ive been like a organised ocd obsessive crank hahahaha. But I feel good everything is done and dusted even ds xmas presents l. All I have next to do is xmas decorations which im planning on doing the 1st.

Ovie turned 1 on sunday 😫 Hes walking and trying to run, saying lots of words like Mama, Dada, Iya and Ta and such a funny little boy x Hes been plagued with nursery bugs...so far tonsillitis and Croup. Hoping that's the worst of it done 🙏

Oh you are so organised @Jadeypie , I’m pretty much there with just a few
bits to sort. We fitted the car seat in the car today so it was very real seeing it there!
I’ve done a lot of Christmas shopping too
and now at the stage where I actually need to look out what I’ve bought and what else I need.
Will also need to buy a baby Christmas present but will hold off on that for now!

Can’t believe that’s Ovie now 1 @Westy22 , time really does fly! Hope you all had a lovely time celebrating that milestone 🥰

Hi @everyone , just a little update that we welcomed our baby boy, Jude 27th Nov, weighing 7lbs on the dot. We’re all very much in love with him. So crazy to be back in the newborn stage again, feel like I’ve forgotten loads! Hope you are all doing well xx
