Hi ladies, I’ve just started a new thread for us to continue the support🩷

Great decision!! @Emiily887 and yes can vouch it’s a great thread and really keeping me going through our ttc journey.🩷🩷 I don’t feel like I can talk to any of my friends as they aren’t going through it and already have babies so I don’t want to bother them.

@HA22 welcome! I am also TTC for a 2nd child, my DS is also 2! This would be our second cycle. Fingers crossed we all get our BFPs this month! Feel free to message me, I also don't have anyone but ladies here to talk about OPKs and DPOs etc 😂❤️

I started my OPKs today so I can get a baseline, don't expect to be ovulating until at least CD12 but I think it varies with me, my cycles are between 25-30 days so I'm assuming I ovulate early some months. Don't want to miss it, so starting OPKs already.

@MyGardenDaisies thank you 💕 we've been ttc for a year now although I do admit I haven't tracked my cycle every month.

@LuxyLocket oh thank you so much! I've pulled myself together again now! Just want AF to come (normally starts first thing in the morning so hopefully will come tomorrow!) then I can look forward to the next cycle 👌🏼

Well AF came today , 5 weeks 1 day from my surgical managed MMC. I feel very sad about it, sadder than I thought I would be. Just thought my last BFP was it and I wouldn’t have to do another month trying another 2 week wait. Feeling really flat, but I am hoping and praying that October is our month xxx

@Joleyjojo I’m sorry af has made an appearance and about your mmc, it is so hard and deflating. I found that after a few days the sadness started to fade and hope came for this month so I hope it’s the same for you. Sending love xx

@owlcat24 same! Are you taking pictures of your OPKs and uploading them to get a reading? I'll attach a screenshot of mine from my first child. I used the app premom

@Joleyjojo I'm so sorry to heart that! Sending you hugs x We have an old proverb which goes along the lines of "There is good behind every delay". Sometimes we don't understand why things don't happen when we want them to but later on we look back and understand why they were delayed x

@HA22 yes I am! Using the same app. Nothing exciting to report yet, a 0.16 reading today 😂

@owlcat24 at least you have a baseline haha. what time are you testing and is it once a day? x

@HA22 i usually test once a day in the evening and then when it starts to rise I go to twice a day🥰

@Joleyjojo I’m so sorry lovely. It was our first month ttc again after a mc in August. I completely hear you. I was so sad as well when AF came and I also pray October will be the month it happens. I just long to be pregnant again and be the mum I want to be.
im keeping everything crossed October will bless us 💕💕

I’m only doing clear blue digital this month as not used opk before. So I’m thinking of starting it at day 11 then just do one a morning until i get the smiley for ovulating? I’m assuming that’s the correct way of using them, do it in the morning.

@LuxyLocket the instruction says on which day to start depending on how long your average cycle is.

Using the clear blue ovulation tests and got a flashing face today but still on my period. Does that sound possible?

LH can rise leading up to and during a period so I’d imagine that’s why lovely, unless your cycles are short and you ovulate soon after af? Xx

Still no AF from me, currently on cycle day 35. I looked back at the Flo app and can see my longest cycle was 45 days around June, then 35 days around July. My August period actually came earlier than expected so I guess my cycle is all over the place since coming off the pill. This is just the only month I've been super conscious about it!
The frustrating thing is I don't even have any symptoms to suggest AF is on the way.
I bought some folic acid though 🤞

Have you tested yet?
sometimes the body need a long time to adjust geting off the pill.

@HeartyPanda I tested yesterday and was negative. Yes just assuming my body is settling back, so trying to be patient!

I must have spent so much money since ttc on tests and now the opk and have ordered preseed as well now! Crazy haha

CD10 for me and the ovulation testing part of the cycle starts again! My cycles are slightly longer since my latest miscarriage so I expect I'll ovulate around CD16.
