Hi ladies, I’ve just started a new thread for us to continue the support🩷

@KateS1993 im really sorry hun, there’s no words to really help as nothing can take that pain away. I also miscarried and then had an ectopic right after. It feels so unfair when other people can easily get pregnant and not even realise.
it makes sense that your partner’s sister’s news would have got to you. When I had my ectopic and spent months in and out of hospital having to terminate my pregnancy, I found out my cousin had gotten pregnant the exact same cycle except she was 12 weeks when she announced it to me. I hadn’t told her or any of extended family bc I was heart broken and then to find out my cousin got pregnant at the same time and was showing off her tummy. It’s hard to digest that.
take the time you need. We are here for you 🩷

Emiily887 · 17/10/2024 18:34

@KateS1993 I think your feelings are really valid and I am truly sorry to hear about your loss. When I had DS, I felt guilty announcing it, happy obviously but also guilty. It took us 14 cycles to conceive him with miscarriages and chemicals in between. I felt guilty because I knew how I had felt when others announced - the exact same way you have described, deflated, upset and like it wasn’t worth trying anymore. But we did get there, and weirdly it was the month I said I was giving up, I couldn’t do it anymore as the heartache was too much.
What I am trying to see is your feelings are completely valid, you can be happy for someone but also feel like your heart has been pulled out and chucked across the road - please don’t apologise for those feelings.
As others have said, this thread is a safe place with people from all walks of life at all different stages of their ttc journeys with loses, ttc number one, ttc number 2,3 and 4. Everyone’s feelings are valid and absolutely no one can tell you how to feel. Take some time for you, look after you and think of you! Sending love xx

This really is the loveliest thread 🩷🩷💕💕well said all of you!!

MrsS11 · 17/10/2024 20:30

I'm so sorry @KateS1993 , it is incredibly hard. I had a 'miscarriage' (very much feels like the wrong word as I gave birth to my little girl) at 19 weeks in July and I kept thinking I don't know if I'd have gotten through without my living children. Its ok to need space from them but I'd also add you don't always know people's full stories from the pregnancy announcements, losses and fertility struggles are so invisible. Baby loss awareness week can be tough too, what an insensitive time to announce 😬

MrsS11 · 17/10/2024 21:36

8(or maybe 10?)dpo and bfn this morning and my hubby really doesn't want me to test early in case it doesn't end well and now I'm torn 😭 I know I should just be patient but it's soo hard

LuxyLocket · 18/10/2024 07:56

@MrsS11 i am 10dpo today and gonna say bfn for me too. I saw a faint shadow on the one step test, couldn’t detect anything on the easy@home. But I had all this last time with ‘are they aren’t they’ faint lines. There is still time for us though. When is AF due for you? Mine is next Thurs.
my husband says the same, but I test so that I can prepare myself that it isn’t looking likely and it is slightly more manageable when AF comes. Rather than waiting and seeing. But everyone is different. I don’t exactly lie as he doesn’t ask but I test when he’s at work😂
how’s everyone else doing this morning? 💕yay for Friday as well!!🙌

Tally89 · 18/10/2024 10:59

Hi guys - coming here as I need a mumsnet hug.

A bit about me: I'm 35, have one tube after an ectopic in 2020, and I miscarried in June. Since then we've been TTC since July and no luck yet.

I've been finding the TWW so hard. Last month I convinced myself it was our month only to get AF. So this month I decided I will test early so as not to be disappointed. Did a test this morning - period due next Thursday - so 6 days early, and ..BFN. I know it's early but I feel so disheartened like we're out for October :(

JoMummyJessica · 18/10/2024 11:46

Am I going crazy or is there a line

Lucky october?🤞🏼
LuxyLocket · 18/10/2024 12:01

@Tally89 Welcome 💕🩷thank you for sharing this, this is definitely a safe place as a lot of us on here have experienced similar and everyone has a story and journey. I’m so so sorry to hear of your mc and eptopic. I had a mc this summer too.
I also do the testing early so as to try and process it before the dissapointment but the disheartened feeling always comes. I was like this last month and this month I’m not that confident I’m pregnant either. I’m 10dpo today and AF also due next Thurs.
there are no words other than ttc journey is so hard and we all get it, big big hugs 🩷

LuxyLocket · 18/10/2024 12:02

@JoMummyJessica i can see it!!!! 🤞🩷how many dpo are you? Was that your first test? That looks like one step, I’m also using those ones too

I'm only 7dpo so really early!
Shouldn't have tested but couldn't resist! They are wondfo ones

LuxyLocket · 18/10/2024 12:16

@JoMummyJessica yeah those are the ones I have. That’s brilliant at 7dpo! Really happy for you. I had a squinter of a line at 10dpo this morning but will see if it develops. I’m not feeling that confident though…
I think the tests are pretty good enough? I know they’re cheapies

JoMummyJessica · 18/10/2024 12:21

Fingers crossed, sending baby dust

LucyLou0527 · 18/10/2024 13:17

Has anyone done anything different this month?

I took Benylin 3 times per day for a few days leading up to Ovulation to loosen my mucus and also used preseed each time we DTD.

also started Asprin 75mg daily and eating almonds!

owlcat24 · 18/10/2024 13:49

@LucyLou0527 I did high strength vitamin C and high strength vitamin B complex. Don't know if it's a coincidence or not, but I got pregnant with DS a month after starting taking these and same this time. My luteal phase was on a short side and I did lots of research which suggested that these vitamins can help build and maintain the uterine lining and prolong the luteal phase etc.

Hey, does aprin help avoid blood clots?
I was considering taking them but some websites say do and some say don't so got confused

Renee33 · 18/10/2024 16:01

@JoMummyJessica I had to take dying my pregnancy. Aspirin helps thin the blood.

Renee33 · 18/10/2024 16:02

During*

owlcat24 · 18/10/2024 16:02

@LucyLou0527 sure, I took these. 2 tablets of Vit C a day and 1 of each of the other two. All from Amazon.

Struggling today. According to the flo app I'm 3 dpo.
I just feel really exhausted with TTC. Feel like nothing going right and sat and had a cry to myself today. "when will it be out turn?" 🥹

I know I'm not alone and there is so many of us on this journey but I just feel really low today.
I've started proceive supplements. Hoping they help.

Needed a moan 😅

Yeah I've heard that, good luck baby dust to u x

Plumchumm · 18/10/2024 17:35

Hi ladies, I’m 2/3dpo today and had such a vivid dream and a 4 hour nap. I’m so exhausted for some reason.

My boobs have been sore since ovulation pretty much, but what's weird about it is it’s only the left boob. The right one is fine lol. What the hell

I think it’s better blood flow to the placenta and reduces inflammation in the uterus😊
