Hey everyone moving over from the ttc sept 2024 thread. Very light start to period today. Expect to start tomorrow with negative pregancy tests. Thought id dip my toes in and start a wee thread.

Little bit about me. Im 35 years (soon to be 36 in oct...a birthday bfp would be lovely) been ttc since jan this year. This will now be cycle 10 for me. I have a 8 year old daughter with my ex and had to have ivf/icsi to have her due to his low sperm count. My new partner and i have been together now 2 and a half year and would love to extend our family.

So far i have had day 21 bloods which confirmed that i am ovulating and waiting to hear back regarding his SA results.

Looking for peoples advice
I posted on here I found out on Monday I'm being made redundant so put TTC on hold. Obviously I didn't know this was coming so on Sunday we had sex twice. Usually this wouldn't have been prime time however I've just had a very positive ovulation test much earlier than I'm suppose to...

Could this lead to pregnancy? Or is the gap long enough

I'm freaking out because obviously I want to be pregnant, but I need to find a new job first!

@rerebecca199 I wouldn't stress much about it. What should be will be. So maybe this is the time you get your bfp and you still have time to find a job xx

Ladies I’ve had my BFP! It is still very faint but I’m only 11dpo trying to stay calm and enjoy the moment. Hope we have some more positives on here today!

@rebecca199 OMG, when you said you'd been made redundant I thought to myself I bet she falls pregnant because that's just the weird way the universe works! Well... When I found out I was pregnant with my little girl it was through an ovulation strip. I did one in the morning thinking there's no way I'm ovulating but I'll check just in case, I checked it and it was so strong, the strongest I'd ever had. Then I went out for lunch with a friend and was overwhelmed with the smell of parmesan, I didn't want to get my hopes up but thought it was very strange. I did a test the next day and yep, pregnant! Get yourself a test asap and keep us updated. This would be absolutely wonderful news if you were and you will find a way to make everything else work Xx

@LS888 Eeeeeeeeek congratulations! Keep us updated please. I did a test yesterday but had an evap line, savage! AF is due Wednesday so not sure whether to test again or wait... Xx

Well I did think this 😂 but we hadn't had sex since our miscarriage until Sunday so there's no way it could be because of early pregnancy, just a very early ovulation! So random!

@rebecca199 Unless it could be from before? Well at least you have a strong ovulation test, my strips have been darkish but definitely not super dark, they stress me out LOL Xx

Hey, how's everyone doing? Congratulations to those with their BFPs 💜 such lovely news. I'm currently 8/9dpo and have sore boobs, acne and PMS type cramps. BFN this pm, I know it's super early but don't usually get symptoms until a day before AF.

@HighSir I could have written your exact post all the same symptoms. I think I'm 10 dpo & never really suffer with sore boobs only when pregnant. Fingers crossed for us both

@HighSir @Mrscmay17 Hi girl, I'm around 8dpo ttc #3 and also have a few symptoms but not sore boobs yet so will see. Fingers crossed for all of us. Do you have any children?

@Sabina93 I have one, she's 8. Conceived first try with her and was 8 weeks along when I found out, no early symptoms. This time round I'm finding the TWW so long!

I’m 9dpp (but I’m not 100% sure I ovulated) bfn and no symptoms, last time I had tender boobs. Hoping for period soon as I haven’t had one since my miscarriage:( congratulations to all those that have conceived, hopefully the rest of our turns soon, would be lovely to be pregnancy at Christmas/ny x

I bought a bunch of the early tests from amazon & it's so hard to resist testing so early

Tested this morning, BFN. AF is due on Wednesday so I'll test again at the weekend. I'm quite tired and had sore nipples yesterday but today they're fine so that's annoying! I've been having food aversions too but I feel like I'm in my own head with it. TTC number 2. Sending good vibes to all of you Xx

The TWW is so hard, I'm only 7dpo and urge to test is real, I haven't because I know nothing will show and I'll be sad and rule out this month, when really it's too early and there's every chance it could still be if I wait.
I think this month the wait feels longer because we just found out my brother and his gf are pregnant and I hope for baby besties 😂🥰

@MrsGingerCat totally with you. I’m only 6dpo, trying not to obsess with every little twinge I feel 😅

Also trying not to test until at least the day that my period is due after a convincing evap last month at 9dpo followed by BFNs for the rest of the week until my period started.. we will see if I manage it mind because it takes some will power 😬

Congratulations to all the ladies who have had a BFP so far. So I got my period yesterday 🎉 which I'm happy about because it's my first cycle since my miscarriage last month. I got a BFP in July and unfortunately lost the baby at 11 weeks so it's been exactly one month since my MC. My period has just returned so I'm relieved that it came back quickly. I'm excited/nervous to start TTC again next week and have my ovulation sticks ready!!! It's such an exhausting experience TTC . We tried for 7 months last time so I'm hoping it happens quicker this time 🤞🤞🤞

TWW begins now for me, now allowing myself to buy tests until 13 DPO because I know I'd be testing everyday.

Best of luck to everyone. My period arrived to day, which completes my 11th cycle actively TTC (have taken a break on a couple of cycles). Silver lining is I got a refund for all my ovulation tests as I was signed up to Premom plus 😂
husband is going for sperm analysis next week on NHS so hopefully we’ll get some answers soon. Best of luck to everyone still trying this month ✨

Got my BFP yesterday at 10dpo & digital today at 11dpo

Im so sorry to hear about your miscarriage. I’m keeping everything crossed you fall pregnant quicker this time round xx
