Hey everyone moving over from the ttc sept 2024 thread. Very light start to period today. Expect to start tomorrow with negative pregancy tests. Thought id dip my toes in and start a wee thread.

Little bit about me. Im 35 years (soon to be 36 in oct...a birthday bfp would be lovely) been ttc since jan this year. This will now be cycle 10 for me. I have a 8 year old daughter with my ex and had to have ivf/icsi to have her due to his low sperm count. My new partner and i have been together now 2 and a half year and would love to extend our family.

So far i have had day 21 bloods which confirmed that i am ovulating and waiting to hear back regarding his SA results.

@LS888 Ah so maybe we will be testing at the same time then!! fingers crossed for us both. The waiting is the worst

Mine says the 24th June! Which is my Son's Birthday 😂haven't timed it very well!

Feel like I am going to be disappointed again this month. Agghhh

Feeling a bit down ladies. I'm 11 dpo and took a test and it's neg. Wish I hadn't caved! I looked at the test a couple of hours later tho and there was a faint line but I'm putting it down to an evap! In my gut I really thought I was pregnant. It's so disheartening x

@Kazza2803 fwiw when I conceived my daughter I didn't test early, BUT I did have only a very faint line when I tested at 14dpo (day period was due). I don't think it even would have shown at 11dpo. She just turned 3. Youre defo not out yet xx

@Kazza2803 I on the other hand bought my tests today and tested knowing full well at 6-7dpo it was obviously going to be negative 😂😂 I don't even know what possessed me. Telling myself I did it 'for science' and will now keep my hands away from them for a few days haha xx

@Kazza2803 11dpo is still early. Dont think I’ve tested positive that early with my two mmc or with my daughter. Think I waited until 14 days. Don’t be hard on yourself it’s so hard to wait. Think I will only test when I’m late as hard as that wait is. Stay positive.

How's everyone getting on? Is anyone having early symptoms? It's so hard to tell isn't it because they're so similar to AF!

I'm not sure when I ovulated, I have a feeling it was right after my period but I can't be sure. I've been using ovulation strips the past few days and felt like my strongest line was the first one I used - this was cycle day 11. I'm already having headaches, feel so hungry and I've had some cramping today but I feel like this is alllll in my head because I want a baby! AF isn't due for another 12-13 days though so it already feels like such a long wait... Xx

For what it’s worth I have never had an evap on a test, so might be worth testing again in a couple of days

I am 6dpo and have no symptoms at all. It’s usually at 8-10dpo that I completely lose the plot! So enjoying the calm 😅

@HNM wishing you all the luck! I am 6-7dpo and have lots of cramping, aching, twinges and more cm than usual. Did my ridiculously early strip test earlier and was neg. 3 hours later I rechecked it (lol) and there's a vvvvfl but I'm not sure if it's an evap and regardless it way past the time anyway. So going to test again in 2 days xx

@han311 I need to wait at least another week until I test but I'm not sure if I can bring myself to test early because I'm not ready for the disappointment LOL. We definitely need to DDD more often and I might splurge on the expensive clear blue ovulation tests next month! It's sooooo stressful and such a mind bend. The amount of old threads on this and other forums I go through is ridiculous!

@HNM are you waiting until AF is due? That's totally understandable though, the disappointment is rubbish. I've never used ovulation tests just go by my body's signs but another lady on here mentioned trying if no luck this month as O date can be earlier/later than expected. I did conceive a year ago after only DTD on cd9!!!! Absolutely baffled me but shows it's true what they say it only takes one time. And LOL same I'm googling every single niggle and reading so many old forum posts xx

I’m only 5dpo. Due to come on my period on 16th. Help me to be strong and not test early. Days are going so slowly! 🤣 I wanted to wait until period was late to avoid the disappointment.

Is anyone else waiting to ovulate? Should be on the 18th according the my flo app. Currently have flu so hoping it shifts because if I still have it next week the last thing I'll want is sex given I'm currently laid in bed like a Victorian maiden ready to be taken to the sea side

Looks like AF is coming for me too. Light spotting for me on day 25. On to cycle number 11 for me. Wish all u guys so much luck and looking forward to hearing the bfps 😊

I took a test tonight (as clearly poas has entirely consumed me) and I'm sure I can see a little something brewing, especially on the inverted one. What do you think? Not taking it as a positive but am hopeful 🤞

Unfortunately BFN for me again today, and with a definite feel that AF is about to make her appearance. Onto cycle 8 for me, and a venture into the world of ovulation testing eeek!
Hoping to see lots of BFPs over the next days for you guys, and anyone else I’ll see on the next thread! Xx

Yeah guys will hold out in testing again until monday when af is due.... Although.. last month I logged so many pms symptoms. Sore boob's. Cramps. Headaches. This month I have zero symptoms. Apart from tiredness. It's wierd how every month is so different. Shall c what monday brings

Hi guys! First month TTC after the pill, got my first flashing smiley this morning for clear blue ovulation! :)

@han311 is that a Boots test? If so that’s exactly how my positive tests start (and now they are blaring!) fingers crossed for you! X
