Hey everyone moving over from the ttc sept 2024 thread. Very light start to period today. Expect to start tomorrow with negative pregancy tests. Thought id dip my toes in and start a wee thread.

Little bit about me. Im 35 years (soon to be 36 in oct...a birthday bfp would be lovely) been ttc since jan this year. This will now be cycle 10 for me. I have a 8 year old daughter with my ex and had to have ivf/icsi to have her due to his low sperm count. My new partner and i have been together now 2 and a half year and would love to extend our family.

So far i have had day 21 bloods which confirmed that i am ovulating and waiting to hear back regarding his SA results.

8dpo, was very excited as my temp did a big jump but realise I fell asleep with electric blanket on. Oops! 😅

7DPO only. But I feel nauseous. Anyone see it?

Not sure what to make of this cycle.. things have been weird!
Usually pretty spot on with peak LH and when the app suggests ovulation but I had an early and much lower LH peak than usual and now it’s back down so we will see.. had a lot more twinges than normal in the last week too, usually get a one sided twinge around ovulation but it’s been both sides 🤷🏻‍♀️
No testing early this month either after some false pos/evaps last month so hopefully I stay strong with it 😅 got my hopes up too much.
I’ve started taking some Vit C and B6 for the last month in an effort to lengthen my luteal phase so don’t know if that would impact ovulation as well 🤷🏻‍♀️ mind boggled 😂

Currently 5dpo on cycle number 8 of TTC our first.

Got some really bad cramping today & feel sick but I know it's too early so just my body messing with me

Hey Everyone! So I started taking Pregnacare Before Conception Vitamins last month and my usually very regular cycle went completely off plan. My last cycle was 36 days and I ovulated this cycle on day 22, I got a peak ovulation test on Thursday and have been DTD each day since.
I suppose I'm asking if prenatal Vitamins delayed anyone elses cycle? I've heard it can happen.
Now for the TWW, although who knows how long this cycle will be now 😆🤞🤞

@MrsGingerCat i took some pregnacare prenatal vitamins for a very short time and it messed with my very regular cycles. I switched the following month to cq10,folic acid and vit d and my cyxles went straight back to normal x

I can see lines on all of those! OMG I'm keeping everything crossed for you girlies. I haven't tested yet... I really don't want the disappointment but AF isn't due for 11 days.

I took pregnacare when I started trying for my little girl - it definitely did something to me LOL and I feel like it threw my cycles off a little but I got pregnant so I'm going to keep using it. I feel like because I've been on breastfeeding supplements they're not feeling as dramatic as they were before!

I've been feeling so tired the last few days, I'm at that point of if overthinking every possible symptom.

BFN on the other boots early this morning with fmu. Feel a bit deflated as was hopeful to see something. AF isn't due til 18th so I know it's still early but can't help overthinking it! Think I am probably just going to wait to test on 18th if AF isn't early. Feel like I've had so many symptoms. Last night my husband smelt funny to me. Sounds weird but the only time I've smelt that smell from him was when I've been pregnant before, so I think that got my hopes up even more :(

Same for me this morning - AF due around 18th - 20th so there is still time, but it’s still deflating.
I got my hopes up when I had sharp pain for about 20 mins and had only ever felt that with implantation. So I had thought that maybe I’d implanted, but I think realistically I’d see a hint of a faint line by now if that were the case.
But, we’re not fully out until AF shows!

@Row23 sorry you're in a similar boat. When do you think you'll test again? Fingers crossed for both of us xx

I’m think I’m going to wait until the 18th like you. Logically I think I know it’ll be negative but at least I have a few more days of
hope until then! It’s hard not to read into every little twinge and cramp or change. Hopefully we get our BFP’s soon 🤞

@Row23 omg I know!! I'm convinced I've had so many symptoms this month! But not feeling very hopeful now. Just come to Tesco and the temptation to get more early tests is overwhelming 😱😂x

Just joining this, good luck everyone. I’m 35, had one MMC at 6 weeks on first try using Premom ovulation strips. My peak was 2tc since I started testing negative again, I had a random one day tc that was quite high at1, but not as high as usual. Hoping I can get pregnant again quickly, my age makes it feel like so little time. Good luck everyone and sending positivity. It has been so nice to read the threads and realise I’m not alone. Hard to not obsessively test.

Can confirm I just bought 2 cb early 😵 I feel so foolish but can't resist. Wish I had the willpower to just wait for goodness sake.

Hi everyone, just joined now. I'm on cycle 1 atm. I'm 31 and my partner 37. We have two boys. First one it took us 3 cycles and second son took us 12 cycles to conceive.
I was a few days past my period now when we dtd but actually we were not trying to conceive but it just happened. We dtd 5th and 7th early morning and ovulation test positive on 9th but really bad cramping on 10th. As I said we were not ttc but now I'm at the two weeks wait and all the memories coming back and I am just hoping so much for the BFP. I'm only 3-4 dpo but was wondering if there is anyone else who's also waiting to test???

@Sabina93 hi lovely wishing you all the best for your BFP. I'm trying and failing to be patient lol, AF due Friday hoping to conceive my second. My daughter is turned 3 x

9dpo. BFN this morning. Been symptomless the whole TWW but this evening my boobs have been a bit sore and have had a lot of CM. Pretty sure I am like this every point in my cycle, but every time I get hope!

feeling quite upbeat about things this TWW as DH is having sperm analysis in a couple of weeks, so we’ll soon know if there are any issues. Also if I don’t get pregnant this month I get all the money I spent on easy @ home tests back - silver lining!
