Two week wait ladies, you there?

I am 5DPO today. First proper cycle of trying to conceive.

I know we’re not likely to feel any symptoms yet, but id anyone else hyper focused on every twinge or movement? I swear I woke up in the night with really sore b0.obs but now they don’t feel too bad - last night they were super veiny and looked diff.
I’m presuming this is just post-ovulation symptoms.

I don’t want to overthink and get myself stressed but so hoping something is going on. I hope i’ll know more in a few days.. and I know how rare/lucky it is to catch first time.

@LetstalkaboutBruno I think I've got a subscription of cheapies due around 10dpo, so that together with my knowledge that this month is a write off will hopefully stop me testing any earlier. Testing at 8dpo is stupid anyway. The earliest I've ever had even a squinter on a cheapie is 11dpo.

@JW24M yeah 6po is very early for implantation symptoms. It's most likely progesterone with what you feel. When I TTC before with an ex I tried to spot every single thing but I realised that actually if I wasn't TTC my body would feel the same way but I am so hyper sensitive now I am TTC. My ex had fertility problems so we never got anywhere other than one chemical but it wasn't meant to be with him so I am grateful it didn't happen! This time round I feel more chilled as regardless of kids I am just so happy in my relationship that we will deal with what comes up. Hopefully we will get lucky soon though xx

Agreed. I think it’s probably just because everything feels heightened I am overthinking. Will keep you updated! Xx

@JW24M yeah it can drive you crazy! My nipples hurt currently whilst I sit at my desk lol but I know it's just the progesterone rising. Keep me posted for sure! I won't test until 11dpo xx

Can I join? 9DPO, last cycle TTC before having to take a break for a few months. No symptoms. Testing every day with OPKs because they have just expired so…. May as well pee on something to keep me occupied while I wait (yes I’m aware this is a bit silly)

I am a bit fed up today ladies. I had sore nipples post ovulation, which is something I only get from time to time. Then I had some quite bad cramping at dpo 7, followed by starting to feel exhausted and very painful boobs. I have only ever had painful boobs like this in my pregnancies (no l babies yet) do I was very hopeful. Today I have a stark negative on FRER. Looking at my temp chart below, I think I ovulated on Monday 26 August but then I have read that temp goes down a day or so before ovulation So I’m wondering if maybe I ovulated on the Tuesday instead, in which case I’m a day behind where I think I am. Any thoughts?

nothing is silly - we do what we feel we need to! Ig they have expiref thiugh obviously take result with a pinch of salt - if they come up positive test with an in-date one to be double sure it isn’t just ink running. Sending you lots of luck! Xxx

sorry, the big dip of 0.55 from my normal temperature was Monday 26th September, followed by the rise in temperature.on Tuesday 0.7. From there it has slowly risen and is now still high but fluctuating.
There was a bit of a dip on Monday 2nd of 0.18 before rising again on Tuesday.

I should probably have mentioned that I had a static :-) on Sunday, the 25th of August together with a positive ovulation test on a strip test.

I know these are supposed to mean ovulation within 24 to 36 hours.

Well, I did a test this morning (11dpo) and still negative. Starting to think it’s not my month, once again. Urgh. I was feeling so hopeful too. The cramps I had at 8DPO must not have been to do with implantation or it would prob show up on a test now. Got sore boobs and AF type cramps on and off so just awaiting my period now.

You sound just like me!! I was pregnant this time last year (Or I thought I was since I had an MMC which took six weeks to diagnose). Since then just a chemical and feeling a bit tearful to be honest! Still, we’re not out yet so let’s keep our fingers crossed

I keep telling myself that the tests I’m using are rubbish as I refuse to waste money on the good ones until AF is well and truly missed and I keep obsessively googling 11dpo bfn and 12dpo bfp 🤣🤣

me and my husband have been trying for our 2nd for 6 years with not one hint of a pregnancy. We’ve had clomid which didn’t result in a pregnancy , tests that have all come back normal and now we are on our last chance (6 rounds of letrozole) before we call it quits as I can’t do it to myself any longer. We’ve just had a long break from TTC and I haven’t missed the obsessive googling. Don’t know why I bother as it’s not going to change anything. This TTC business is awfully stressful.

Oh yes of course. I’m really just using them up because it’s that or just bin them. It’s helping to fight the urge to spend money on actual tests that I don’t need this early on, even if the results don’t mean anything. My own pregnancy test placebo

Ooh, 6 years is a long time. Have you had any tests? I know exactly what you mean about the googling obsession. The whole situation is bloody painful tbh!

I had a TTC break too, and I feel you with the frantic googling being stressful. I didn’t miss it at all.

I am currently between IVF cycles after moving house. The amount of googling I have done over the years is insane.

@Carportforme Yep! Had a really good feeling this morning as well. Had nausea. My coffee made me want to throw up and my boobs felt like they were being pumped up. Then I went to the toilet and noticed I was spotting. Went again a bit later on and bam full blown period!

Ahhh, that is just the pits for you! I am sick to death of the whole thing to be honest. I still feel incredibly bitter towards the NHS first scan at around 12 weeks situation. I can’t get my head around having carried an embryo that had already “passed” for more than six bloody weeks.
Siery for the bad language but the whole situation just makes me so angry and sad.

Hi ladies I just did a few tests and the lines are very faint . Do you think there to faint for 14 days past ovulation? I only had sex once on the exact day I ovulated which was Fri 24 aug unless I actually conceived the next day . Ps the lines look lighter in real life

@Fingerscrossed24 they look like they are getting darker from top to bottom so that's fab! Did you get any implantation symptoms at all?
