Two week wait ladies, you there?

I am 5DPO today. First proper cycle of trying to conceive.

I know we’re not likely to feel any symptoms yet, but id anyone else hyper focused on every twinge or movement? I swear I woke up in the night with really sore b0.obs but now they don’t feel too bad - last night they were super veiny and looked diff.
I’m presuming this is just post-ovulation symptoms.

I don’t want to overthink and get myself stressed but so hoping something is going on. I hope i’ll know more in a few days.. and I know how rare/lucky it is to catch first time.

I have 1 clear blue digital with the weeks indicator, but id like to save it until i get a 3+, do you know roughly how many weeks along would give that result?

It counts from the first day of your last period, so assuming a 28 day cycle (or there abouts) you need to wait until you’re 5 days late

Ahh ok I wasn't sure if the digital tests count differently, because I'm 4 weeks now,but it wouldn't show 3+ yet I don't think?

4 weeks is 2 weeks in ClearBlue digi speak, as the digital tests count from ovulation.

So 3+ would be 5ish weeks. But different amounts of HCG triggers the different weeks measures so it's not the most reliable of things.

Ok, I might just wait a week and do it to see, I’m just curious more than anything. I trust that I’m pregnant for now!

I know most of us are out of the TWW now, but will be gearing up for a new one shortly. How’s everyone feeling approaching ovulation? 🙈 the tracking of LH and BBT really is becoming more stressful than its worth for me, I think from the next cycle it’ll be one or the other or none! Finding myself really fixated and OCD around it all, struggling to switch off! This happened to me last cycle too and I had a good few sleepless nights which are counter productive too 😭

i’ve been so much more relaxed this cycle and I feel so much better for it. Taking bbt first thing and doing an lh when I remember, but I’m going with the BD every few days around peak week, which premom tells me is this weekend !!

I’m still flashing on the clear blue digital. Have been since the beginning of last week. No cycle is exactly the same, I find. Hopefully will ovulate soon

My peak was this week so as of the end of today I think we will have covered the fertile window! Be glad to hopefully switch off for the first week of the TWW as I know nothing goes on noticeably in that week ☺️

I got my flashing on Saturday morning and turned to static on Monday morning and it has been the same both cycles using it! However, it does say it can flash for upto 5 days so keep testing! Xx

I'm still on the last cycle in limbo. I have a pregnancy of unknown location..so waiting to either naturally miscarry or to have to have methotrexate.

Ooh that's good. My number of flashing days does vary a bit but I'm on day 9 now 🤣. Had some EWCM and a bit of cramping today but still flashing tonight. Might have to DTD anyway, if we both have enough energy and see what it says tomorrow. Hope you get your BFP this cycle x

Do you use LH strips/Premom app? I have been using them alongside my clear blue. I have found the clear blue is definitely more sensitive to an LH rise (shows solid smiley) but the LH strips allow me to test twice a day for less money!! 😂 once I see my line darkening on my LH strip after getting the flashing smiley, I will use a clear blue test to confirm and both times I’ve done this it’s turned to the solid 😊. The LH strips can’t preempt the estrogen rise so I always use the clear blue daily until I get the flashing smiley from around CD10/11 then switch to just LH strips to check the LH surge.

Hi, I do sometimes use the strips as well, usually to confirm the clear blue result or otherwise. All beginning to get to me a bit as the months go by 😩

Don’t worry you’re not alone, it feels abit much for me too tracking & temping! I feel like I create anxiety and worry, even though there is people out there who have sex once, no tracking, no “timing” and still get pregnant. Today for example, my temp didn’t go up last night as expected, infact it went down, but I expected I would have ovulated yesterday at the latest due to my LH surge starting Monday. So I’ve spent the full day being consumed by that, worrying I may have an anovulatory cycle or that all the tests/temping are incorrect. But I try to remain positive, I’ve done as much as is possible within my control and anything outside of that I cannot help.. I am considering dropping one method of tracking for the coming months (if this isn’t my cycle) as I think my MH may need it.

Although this TTC marathon I gave up temping when I started to establish that the LH strips were pretty accurate at catching my surge, back when TTC the first time round, I liked that the BBT was able to confirm what the OPKs were predicting. I've run out of LH strips since last cycle which means I'm purely going off CD16 tending to be my ovulation day (as it's only 2 days away, even if I order more tonight I may miss my peak) and I'm going to regret not having ordered more in, as I like to know what's going on! Much as I like the theory of the relaxed approach the reality just causes more stress!

I'm currently CD14 so I expect I'll be in the TWW again next week...

Good luck to your girl ✨ but yes I say I’m gonna scale it back, but like you I think I would stress out also not being in the know! 🤣 I’m sure pharmacies, boots ect will have LH strips on the shelf if you really need to scratch your itch 🙂😂

Hi KT199, finally got my static yesterday, a positive on cheaply strip and a big temp rise today so I'm thinking that it's back to the tww now for me. Not sure if I will use the clear blue in future. They are so expensive and really you arent able to tell your four most fertile days if you flash for days on end. X

Ahh!! I’m glad you finally got your static smiley! I know, sometimes I feel that the clear blue jumps the gun too with my static rather than be later.. my peak on a LH strip was over 48hrs after my static this time around.

Im in the 2WW now, I’m either 3 or 4 DPO (most likely 3 according to temps). Fingers crossed for this cycle for us both!!

Yes, interesting how they work differently. My temp has gone down again this morning but still above baseline. Thinking maybe I am just colder than yesterday. The weather has definitely got colder.

I find BBT really frustrating tbh. I never know if it’s accurate as I am someone who wakes a lot in the night. Since ovulation my temp is going up up up by a fair bit every day I’m not sure how long it will continue for! But it has been enough for NC and pre mom to confirm ovulation x
