Hi ladies!
CD 1 for me today, so I’m moving over from the July thread and starting this one (don’t think there is already one).
Anyone else now ttc for a BFP in August??

Hi all! I hope you are all doing well.

I'm feeling so anxious, my lines are still so faint (7 days of positives now but I had expected an obviously clear one by now).

Any advice? Do I just need to wait?

In my experience, those tests take forever to darken. Don't let it bother you too much, try not to stress - will only make your mind do somersaults. Try and relax by doing things you like. I know it's easier said than done but took days for my lines to darken xx

I totally get you! I found myself feeling more negative after 6 dpo, maybe it was because of the high post ovulation hormone levels however I knew that my hope for a BFP from the O day slowly diminished each day until AF arrived. I even cried at the end of each cycle when she showed up. It is normal to feel bad and completely fine to let it out. After a good cry, I was ready for a fresh start again. I feel positive for everyone here.

Try not to over test it because HCG doubles every 48 - 72 hours. I believe your line will get darker but it takes time. Just like what ttcjourney20001 suggested, relax and enjoy being pregnant.

I tested positive cd25 and negatives since. I’ve had mild cramps for the last few days. Feels like AF is coming but nothing! Now CD29. Cycles vary from 26-35 days.

is this likely to be a chemical?

I spoke to my doctor yesterday about ibuprofen when TTC as I have torn muscles in my back and she said it's fine unless you're in second trimester which I was surprised at as I've always avoided it! I'm still avoiding it though as it makes me paranoid 😂

I would take paracetamol to be on safe side! Hope you feel better soon xx

Have you been using the same brand of tests / same time wee / not drinking too much fluids?

thanks for your reply. It really really is. I caught with my DS so quickly so I’m really stressing! I’m like a woman possessed! Different brands. Try and do morning and night time wees! X

CD27 today, still testing negative - I think I’m around 11/12dpo so pretty much out I think. I had cramping like AF was coming yesterday, then that stopped, and today I maybe had the tiniest bit of faint spotting, but that also disappeared/l. But this is also my first cycle after having my IUD out so my body is probably figuring stuff out too. I’m hoping AF shows up soon now so I can get on with the next cycle. I’m going to temp and use ovulation tests next time

I also had been testing HCG twice a day because I was worried that CP might happen again.😓 So I totally understand how you feel.

I am sorry this might not be your month however the combination of CBT/BBT and LH strips is perfect to confirm ovulation. I wish you good luck for your next exciting cycle!

Hey, I'm in a similar situation I posted on here a few days ago that I was out this month with what I suspected was chemical after having a similar experience last chemical and my lines were so faint on day AF was due and I had spotting for 3 days before. However my spotting stopped day of missed period an this morning my line looks darker 4 days missed period, its really hard feeling like you're in limbo with so much hope!
Have you had any cramping, spotting at all? I guess it's just waiting game for us, attached photo of today's test

@CRMB95 I am so pleased your lines are darker today! I know what you mean about being in limbo though 🤦🏼‍♀️ maybe we are both just much earlier than we expect! With my last pregnancy I was unaware I was pregnant as the implantation bleeding was comparable to a period!

I've had no bleeding, but lower back ache all week! Not too severe but uncomfortable, which I'm not sure is a normal thing or a good thing 🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️

Hi all, hope everyone is doing okay this month and thinking of everyone on this journey too! I am so confused this month (why is this whole TTC journey so difficult) so I had quite a lot of dark brown blood for 5 days prior to my period which is unusual, I then started my period a day later and the first day of my period it seemed usual quite heavy red blood but yesterday (the second day) seems strange, it's quite light, very light pink every now and then but then also has been brown yesterday too. Now todays its practically gone and super light. I'm really not sure whether I should take a test or just trust this absolutely can't be implantation bleeding and it is just a strange period. Has anyone experienced anything similar?

Sore boobs and a bfn at 8dpo

Last time I had sore boobs I was pregnant with my daughter 👀 trying not to symptom spot too much and get my hopes up 🫣

CD1 for me AF showed up, so I’m onto the next month!

Hi everyone, three days to go until AF arrives. Took a test, no notable symptoms apart from nausea and sore nipples, thought I'd give a little test, which was my last one in the house - which I'm glad about as I'm a serial tester but I've been good this month. Took one about 2 days ago and nothing. This was the outcome today. Indent or the look of something?

Just took a clear blue blue die early one and I have a faint line but I refuse to believe it because of last months AWFUL indent from these tests
If this turns out to be nothing again I've never using these tests again! 😂
You know you aren't imaging it when even your partner can see it 😂

@ttcjourney20001 I think I see something but I'm not 100% as I'm not sure where the line shows on this brand so I may be looking in the incorrect place. Hopeful for you!!

Looks like im out for this month. Strong period pains, had a headache and now light spotting which happens every cycle on day 25 (today) until day 1 begins a day or so later. U would think id get used to this now that im on month 8 but today i feel distraught by it. Im about to turn 36 in a couple of months.

Sharing a little bit of background 😊 im so fortunate and blessed to have an 8 year old daughter to my ex husband. We had to have ivf to concieve due to my ex having a very low sperm count. We we successful first time and have embryos frozen. It is breaking my heart to know that i will have to destroy these embryos ( no chance of me and my ex getting back together and obs they are fertilitised by him). Been with my amazing partner for 2 and a half years and never been more in love. He is also amazing with my daughter. I would love nothing more to have a child with him. He dotes on my daughter and says if we couldnt he is blessed to have her. He is a few years younger (he will be 30 in oct and ill be 36 in oct).
