Hi ladies!
CD 1 for me today, so I’m moving over from the July thread and starting this one (don’t think there is already one).
Anyone else now ttc for a BFP in August??

Me too! I tested at 8, 9 & 10 so far, all BFNs. I’ve decided I’m gonna allow myself to test this month, then next month I’m not gonna buy tests til much later so I can’t be tempted.

I did one at 5dpo today like a crazy person, gotta scratch that itch!

Can anyone see a faint line? 13dpo

@Teggy95 I think I see a faint line. I have these tests too (if they are one step strips) for me they were first to pick up a very faint line, but very slow to darken. You could try another brand of test tomorrow like a first response or clear blue to confirm!

I took another cheapie this morning at 11DPO, and a BFN. So I feel like I’m out for this month. I see a lot of people getting lines on those from 8/9DPO and I’ve had nothing.

AF is due between Sunday and Tuesday, so let’s see. I haven’t felt any symptoms at all, and with the BFNs at this point I feel like it’s over. I had a BFP with my daughter at 12 DPO, although not on a cheapie (pic attached).

I an also feel like I’m out going by my temps. I’m only 8dpo but just feel totally normal and my gut is saying it’s gonna take us longer. Getting a little fed up already by little things like not doing big cardio workouts, avoiding the sauna and hot tub which I used to love to relax, trying to eat really well, no drinking etc. I do understand it’s taken many so much longer and I really feel for them of course. Also feel so lucky to have one child already and it really is luck isn’t it?

Also, since this is a safe space, thought I’d get it off my chest that I had my first ‘ugly’ feeling yesterday. Friends are having a baby (accidentally - sex once in a cycle ages before ovulation!) despite both having a pretty appalling diet and generally abusing their health. So, so happy for them of course but it did make me think “What’s the point in the lifestyle changes, having so much sex etc?” I’m just in a bad mood I think which is also telling me it’s just a usual luteal phase for me! I’ll snap out of it and onward and upwards!

Our times will come! Hopefully this year for all of us.

So I think after just one month, TTC is going on hold for a little while, as we've decided to put offer in on dream house. So will be bowing out of this group.

Only 6dpo but already feeling really negative about this cycle - I'm soooo crampy already!

Same here, 6DPO today and cramping as per usual pre AF is starting. I will test on Monday 9PO. When are you testing?

Well 😂 I tested today because I'd rather just do it with a cheap one then it gets it out my system lol

I probs won't test tomorrow but will again on 8dpo (I got my positive for my daughter 8dpo so thats when I start to get excited!)

Clearblue official today, after 9 cycles!

The only thing we did differently this month was use a Ferti-Lily cup, and though I can’t say for certain that it was that that helped, I’m pleased I tried it!

i Feel you here. I’ve had the same this cycle where a friend (who hasn’t had her period back after the last baby) had a pregnancy surprise. I’m absolutely thrilled for her; and hope we can be pregnant together again. But it was a case of 1 time and absolutely out of the blue luck. Like ovulated ONCE after 18 months and managed to catch it on one random time. I just wish it was that easy for us too 😂

Hi everyone.
Supposedly 7 dpo today. Got sent home from work early as I was going sick a lot. Went for a nap when I got home as was so tired - woke up with a raging headache. Thought "let's test" but I know it's a little too early. I'm not sure if my eyes are playing tricks on me. Opinions would be appreciated.
How's everyone doing?

Hi all,

I tested positive cd25 and negatives since. I’ve had mild cramps for the last few days. Feels like AF is coming but nothing! Now CD28. Cycles vary from 26-35 days.

is this likely to be a chemical?

Made it to 8DPO and came down with something. Thought it was just IBS flaring up but had a fever last night. Torn between taking ibuprofen to feel better and not taking it in case there’s a tiny ball of cells trying to survive…

@Amber17 you could take paracetamol? It is surprisingly effective at helping with all sorts. I am breastfeeding and it's all I've taken for years!

Huge congrats. This gives me some hope. Im about to go in to my 9th cycle trying to conceive. Wishing you all the best with your pregnancy xx
