Hi all, hoping for some help. I’ve been TTC 6 years and have had 3 failed rounds of ivf. I’ve had a bit of a cold and been feeling dizzy from 6-8dpo. I am only 9dpo and did a test with second urine of the day - confirmed 9dpo as I used ovulation sticks. Is this a positive or am I too early to get excited? Never seen a positive in 6 years xxx

I’ve just done something really silly and am now panicking 😞 I bought some salsa yesterday and went to eat it today - got like 1/4 through the jar and there was a massive mouldy tomato - realised I’d picked up an OLD jar from the fridge not the new one. God knows how long it’s been there - I was just sick whilst brushing my teeth after and am now absolutely panicking plus feel so rank. 😟😟😟😟😟😟😟 don’t know what to do really.

Don't do anything! You will be completely fine. Lots of women have engaged in all kinds of risky stuff before finding out they are pregnant, so do not panic! They are pretty resilient in there!

As for the line progression, it's not an exact science amd lots of things impact on the strength of the line. I know with one of my pregnancies I was worried that the line on the second day was a lighter lighter than the day before. That line is now a two year old toddler!

You probably feel rank because you're pregnant, BTW! Welcome to much rankness 😄

I couldn’t believe it 😩 I also shook the bloody jar before I opened it which is why I prob didn’t notice. I feel disgusted 😒😩 thanks for reassuring me, hopefully nothing comes of it and a bit of mould doesn’t make me sick. Let the rollercoaster commence 🤪 x

I'm on tenterhooks here! Let us know as soon as you know! Fingers crossed for you.

TingeOGinge · 15/07/2024 15:43

I know you're excited but I would do the FR in the morning! That would give the clearest answer.

It’s my birthday tomorrow - could either be the best or worst day. But you’re right, best to wait !!

I definitely think you should do it tomorrow then! What a gift!

It sounds very promising OP. We took 7.3 years to conceive so I know how hard the journey so far must have been and also that being pregnant doesn’t really sink in.
Look forward to a pic of the positive frer

Oh wow, over 7 years - I am so so happy you got your miracle in the end, it truly is the most heartbreaking journey. I know I’m so far from it being over, but this really does give a little glimmer of hope.

Good luck! They look just like my cheapie lines at 9DPO and I'm now 17 weeks pregnant! Crossing everything for you

Kellyaust · 15/07/2024 17:04

It's not always true that fmu is the best time to test so early on, from days 9dpo to 14dpo evening has been proven to be good, if you don't drink much and do a 4 hour hold or more then you should see an accurate result. I was 9dpo with my 4th and bfn with fmu, bfp in the evening 🤞

TheShellBeach · 15/07/2024 17:08

Good luck, OP!

Butterfly8719 · 15/07/2024 17:20

Wellllll bloody Amazon have just said my package is delayed until the 17th!!! Excellent.

I’ve just bought a clear blue digital ultra early as that was all they had 🥹 cannot wait till 17th for the FRER 😆 would this be ok?

Nosurpr1ses · 15/07/2024 17:53

@Butterfly8719 i did a clear blue ultra early at 10dpo and got a positive! I liked it because it said in words and I didn’t have to rely on lines. Like you my DH didn’t really understand faint lines etc. That baby is 12 weeks old now

Kellyaust · 15/07/2024 18:00

Yes I got a positive on the CB digital ultra early on 10dpo 🤞

Butterfly8719 · 15/07/2024 18:50
