Hi all, hoping for some help. I’ve been TTC 6 years and have had 3 failed rounds of ivf. I’ve had a bit of a cold and been feeling dizzy from 6-8dpo. I am only 9dpo and did a test with second urine of the day - confirmed 9dpo as I used ovulation sticks. Is this a positive or am I too early to get excited? Never seen a positive in 6 years xxx

I see a line!!

I’m in disbelief. I don’t have any symptoms except this cold - also boobs don’t hurt AT ALL, no usual pms symptoms. Will test again tomorrow. Thank you so much for replying xx

My boobs never hurt once in either of my pregnancies.

Will keep my fingers crossed for you!

Oh wow that’s so good to know. I showed my husband and he doesn’t believe it’s a line - but I don’t think they quite understand faint lines. Thank you so much xxx

There is definitely a line. 🤞🏼 you are testing early so I would expect to see a darker one in coming days. Good luck! 🤞🏼

Get a FRER, they're usually very accurate.

cloudy477654 · 14/07/2024 12:25

It does look like a faint line yes! Keep testing every couple of days!
I never had any symptoms until AF was actually late, just felt like I normally do when AF is due.
Fingers crossed for you

I’ve just ordered some! Fingers crossed. I’m actually having period cramps so not feeling hopeful now x

Did you have cramps?? I’m starting to have light period cramps and still feel like I have a cold/flu x

I also see a faint line! And I always have cramps in the 1st trimester. They don't mean much as they can be both a symptom of period and pregnancy. Did you take another test?

Thank you. I am going to test again tomorrow FMU and then with a FRER. I ordered some on Amazon. The reason I tested early as during my last failed IVF transfer I had intense dizziness and vertigo and the docs said it was from the progesterone pessaries. Obv this time I’m not on progesterone and I have the same dizziness/vertigo which tells me my progesterone must be naturally super high as I never have it with PMS. Hope that makes sense. Hope for a clearer picture tomorrow 🥹 xx

That's what mine looked like at 9dpo. I'm now 16 weeks.
Congratulations 🥳

Huge huge congrats!! When did you get a strong bfp? I’ve ordered FRER but so scared to test, I have mild period cramps so not getting TOO hopeful 🤞🏼

That's a definite positive! Please, please update!

Kellyaust · 14/07/2024 16:15

You generally do have period like cramps in very early pregnancy anyway so I wouldn't let that put you off that test is definitely positive 🤞

Thank you Kelly 🥹 I think I’m just in total disbelief after 6 years, 3 rounds of ivf, stage 3 endometriosis and never even seeing a hint of a positive test. I was exhausted and coming to terms with never becoming a mum x

Make sure they're the early response, not the fast response ones. Good luck, and let us know 🙂
