Hi all, hoping for some help. I’ve been TTC 6 years and have had 3 failed rounds of ivf. I’ve had a bit of a cold and been feeling dizzy from 6-8dpo. I am only 9dpo and did a test with second urine of the day - confirmed 9dpo as I used ovulation sticks. Is this a positive or am I too early to get excited? Never seen a positive in 6 years xxx

Thank you @QuarterYellow - we’re going to explore our options for sure. Going to do kareotyping first and maybe continue naturally for a little while and then explore our uk clinic or abroad, even though we PGTA tested all our embryos before I have very mixed feelings about it xx

Good luck @Butterfly8719 wishing you all the luck in the world for your journey, I tested positive for 3 weeks after my loss they did tell me to wait for a negative test to start trying again but I didn't....that's only for their dating to make it easier. Whenever you feel ready go for it ❤️

@Kellyaust they said the same to us, but can you ovulate with HCG in your system? I find it very confusing 🥴 I might have to get the ovulation sticks out and see xx

Yeah I always thought from what I read that you can't....but then I've seen people that it's happened to so who knows 🤷‍♀️ I would get some ovulation strips and just watch them see what happens. We tried again straight away but my body wasn't ready until cycle 3 when we conceived again x

They only tell you to wait for the dating side of things/old school ideas about needing to be emotionally ready etc but for some of us cracking on is easier/healthier, but if you feel ready to start again just do a HCG internet cheapie test every day to see it leave your system/get darker again and use the ovulation tests. Everything crossed for you.

@Butterfly8719 I never waited at all. With all my miscarriages, we just tried again when we felt ready to DTD again.

After all, what are dating scans for?

I generally got pregnant the very next cycle, or the subsequent one. My doctor told me that the date of an ERPC counted as an LMP.

I never used ovulation sticks but I checked my BBT daily and my cervical mucus and position.

Thank you @QuarterYellow @Kellyaust and @TheShellBeach - I’ve started testing so will test out the hcg (still have bloody dye stealers) and have just bulk ordered ovulation sticks 🥴🫣 no point waiting waiting, mentally I feel better to just go again x

Best of luck @Butterfly8719 - we're all rooting for you. 🌈 Anecdotally my GP said fertility tends to be higher right after a loss and I found that to be true myself. We got our rainbow baby just 7 weeks after a chemical pregnancy.

(I'm only waiting because I don't feel mentally ready, I had MCs back to back and the second was horrendously painful so I'm just feel cautious).

I do agree, extremely fertile after a MC for sure! This month has been ridiculous for me😂xx

So sorry you had 2 back to back @Niiina that is truly heartbreaking 🥹💔 makes sense to wait - let yourself recover 💪🏼 my tests are finally starting to turn negative - so hopefully I’m on track to ovulate as I should. I’ve had basically no bleeding either. Which is great. Fingers crossed all goes smoothly x

I ovulated a little earlier and it was a crazy one haha, so enjoy it! Pleased you're not bleeding too badly. Amazing news🫶🏼xx

Hope everyone is doing ok ❤️ I’ve been testing consistently since my D&C and my lines seems to be taking so so long to turn negative - they’ve seemed to have plateaued. Is this normal? 😒🙁 never wanted a negative so badly.

Hi lovely! Did you have a nice time? My test just turned negative today!! And I’m think I’m ovulating today too…but we’ve had a row so def won’t be BD 🫣🫣🫣 oh well, the break will do me good. What’s happened to your cycle? So frustrating isn’t it. We saw our consultant yesterday and have decided to do ivf in January ! X

thats ok lovely. I actually ovulated last week in the end 🤣 took ages but I had LOADS of ewcm, more than normal - so we just dtd twice - hopefully caught it but you never know. I think I am 6dpo and have already started testing, I’m mad.
