Hey girls any thoughts on this?

I'm ebf my son he's 10.5 months .

Last month I had my first period since I had him. It was really light and lasted about a day or so. I had this weird feeling I might be pregnant.

I took a clear blue test and it showed a faint thin light but I concluded it was an evap line. I took other tests the next day or so and concluded I wasn't pregnant. So that was last month.

I am now 8 days late.

Should my period have come by now? Should I get another test. Or is this just normal?

I would do it with your first urine tomorrow morning to be 100% sure

Update digital read not pregnant !

Gonna take this as accurate as I'm almost 10 days late now so 💯 would have been positive no matter what time of the day I guess!

You are not EBF if baby is 10.5 months old, lactational amenorrhoea only works until baby is around 6 months old, and only if you follow it to the letter!

Using the pull-out ‘method’ is beyond daft if you don’t want to get pregnant. Hopefully you’re not pregnant this time, so use this as a bit of a shake to get yourself sorted with contraception (condoms are absolutely fine if you don’t want to use hormonal contraception!)

@WetBandits I still wouldn't trust it even when following the method to the letter 🫣 I exclusively breastfed, and my first period returned at 5 months... I got pregnant again before the next period. My baby was breastfeeding 3-4 hourly during the day and probably every 2 hours overnight 😴 no bottles, no formula, no expressing, no solids 🤷🏼‍♀️

Guys I've not been using breastfeeding as contraception. The relevance of breastfeeding is why my period was so Delayed in coming back.

I also wouldn't mind if I got pregnant but not planning it right now either.

And I've been using the pullout method successfully for 7 years! It would have been my only time getting pregnant unplanned!

Oh I wouldn’t either 😂 I do this for a living and if someone tells me they’re using lactational amenorrhoea or pull out as their method of contraception I’m like mmmmm yeah I don’t recommend either of those if you don’t want any surprises 😅
